Lovely spacious apartment really clean, and Leyla was so helpful and responsive during our stay. Would definitely stay again, only a 5 minute work to the front where everything is.

Lovely, cosy holiday apartment with comfortable beds, great bed linen and workable cooking facilities. In excellent location, 4 minutes from the railway and bus station and very close to all of the shops and restaurants in the town.

Excellent and cosy stay in a comfortable basement flat. Very quiet setting with lovely views from the door and a beautiful quiet garden to utilise. Walking distance to Grasmere and onto the hills. Everything of good quality in the flat and easy to access and park. Highly recommended

We had a lovely stay. Location is perfect, right in the heart of Bowness with plenty of restaurants, pubs and the lake within easy walking distance. The place is lovely and we really enjoyed using the hot tub. Great recommendations and advice on things to do, places to eat etc from our hosts and we would definitely visit again. So easy to check in and we loved not having to have a key, easy access. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Me and my patenter loved our stay at little 20- we felt right at home! Very comfortable bed which was good after lots of walking, close to bars and restaurants in Windermere! We also used the free access to the spa and gym which was great whilst it rained- would definitely recommend a stay at little 20 :) thankyou Linda & Mike !

I needed somewhere to stay at short notice for an impulse trip to the Lakes. Dale's place was a perfect base while I spent the days walking, with comfy evenings watching TV with a view. Would be happy to stay there again!

we arrived late at night as a stop over for a very long journey from Noerh Scotland to London. it was hard ro find in the dark and the parking was tight but the flat was so so comfy. it was so welcoming, the place had been ade up to our needs so we didn't have to do anything when we arrived late at night. perfect place to stay with dogs. a little welcome box for our dog, crates and dog bowls, treats poo bags. Just ideal and our very anxious dog was very happy here. extremely helpful host. I would absolutely recommend staying here. any issues with the tight parking space were completely dismissed with the hospitality and the comfort we had here.

We had a really enjoyable stay at the apartment - a first mini break with our dog and newborn together! Rooms were clean and cosy especially the bed which was so comfortable. The area was lovely and quiet too. Only a short drive to Bowness and the other towns which was very handy. I’m sure we will be back again!

Enjoyed our long weekend stay in Cartmel. The flat was very clean and Scott was super helpful. We would come again, and have suggested the flat to friends. We recommend dinner at the Cavendish arms, and the Royal Oak for pints.

Probably the easiest overnight stay I've had anywhere! Welcoming, easy to find and access and with all amenities nearby communicated from the start. Ray was able to accommodate us slightly earlier than booked time and allowed a slightly later checkout which was perfect for our family gathering. Extremely clean and tidy and presented really. Communication was fantastic and extremely prompt. Silky smooth experience and highly recommended! 😉

Fantastic weekend stay......the flat is accurately described and shown in the photos. Communication was excellent from the moment we booked. Comfy beds, crisp linen and fluffy towels. We ate in and the kitchen had everything we needed. Log burner very welcome as it was typical February weather in the Lakes! Pub at Hill Top very cosy and welcoming. Queen's Head at Hawshead too. Such a lovely spot! so peaceful & calm. Ate all the biscuits and brownies, Cate stocked in the room! Big, secure garden for the doggy to run around. Cate has a great book full of walk routes...I did the circular to barber green on quiet lanes & stunning views. I had planned to go to ambleside in the evening for the dark skies event, but Cate's place was so nice, I didn't bother! I would love to stay again. thank you 😊

Great base for dog walks straight from the front door. The house was ideally located in Hawes, the onsite parking was a welcome bonus. It was clean and warm and had everything we needed for a weekend trip. would recommend to anyone looking for a base in the area.

Hosts communicated well with me before arriving and when I got they there they had put the heating and the kettle on! Flat was exceptionally clean and perfect for a trip away for work. Kitchen was fully functioning and well equipped and the extra touches like milk and breakfast items were much appreciated. Hosts were very friendly but also respected my privacy and their two Labradors sealed it for me! Would definitely stay again for work or a short break

We loved our stay. The apartment was not like the photos on the listing but it was nice nonetheless. Quiet, easy access to Lancaster, helpful staff, top facilities - we highly recommend the spa. Would like to stay again.

Absolutely amazing stay!! Me and partner don’t drive but there’s amazing walks and cheap taxis if yu need to go far. The apartment felt like a home it’s so peaceful and clean!! Only down side as someone with curly thick hair is the shower pressure is so bad🥲 but other than that I would 100% come again recommend the stay to everyone and the price is amazing. Ps. Sorry I left in a rush so it’s a little messy I tried to clean but boyfriend made a mess again😂😂 Thank you so much for having us!!!

Me and my partner stayed at Dorothy's Place as a treat for our birthdays and could not of been happier! We arrived later than planned on Thursday (kids!) so to have access to tea coffee and milk was amasing - they'd even left a lovely chocolate cake and bakewells for us! Waking up on the Friday morning to the view of lake Windermere was stunning! Saying morning to Nigel and the dogs was great and after our day in Windermere we came home to 4 freshly laid eggs that were lovely scrambled for breakfast before check out in the Saturday. Dorothy's place was full of character and to learn of the history was an added boon. We will definitely stay again in the future if able and thoroughly reccomend to all!

We had such a great stay, the host was fantastic. We had no issues but would have felt happy to let her know if we did, we will be back!

Thurnham hall is a great place to stay!

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

Fantastic apartment for a weekend stay. Extremely comfy bed and well stocked kitchenette. Rebecca was great with her communication and check in was quick and easy. The hotel facilities included in our stay were great, with a pool (free pool towels available), sauna, bar/restaurant and kids games room. Lovely grounds, quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Keswick. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a quiet, peaceful stay clowe to other towns and attractions.
