We had a great long weekend stay! Beautiful place - very well decorated and we loved the hot tub!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful and the location (right across from a playground) was perfect for our three young children. The open floor plan made it easy to keep an eye on everyone. The host was very communicative and flexible. I’d highly recommend this spot!

This is my second stay at Curt’s. I was in town for work and spent my days in Nashville but this was the perfect sanctuary to come back and get away from the hustle and bustle. Burgess Falls was a quick drive just over 30 minutes. I had done this hike previously but it was BEAUTIFUL in the snow which we received. There are several other hikes driveable from the cabin! Pros: hot tub! In nature, waking up with views and the birds chirping. Tips/Info: the neighbors dog did come down to say hello where if you have a pet that is reactive to other dogs this may not be the best spot, beds look over the living room area where there is not a bedroom and the stairs to get to the bedroom are steep. Overall: this is one of my favorite stays! Curt and Kate are responsive and helpful to ensure a great stay. The cabin is cozy and perfect for an unplug for work, a romantic get away or a boys trip where a trip to the city may be in the cards. Will return. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The decor was stylish, the beds and couches were super comfortable, and the hot tub and game room were a blast. The kitchen amenities were much better than at other places we have stayed at before. The high quality toiletries in the bathrooms were a nice touch too! Our family of 5 was very comfortable here and would highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful time! The inside of the home is stylish and pristine with a lot of cute personal touches, and the outdoor living space and fire pit are perfect and well maintained. The kitchen was very well stocked and it was easy to cook (not to mention the awesome blackstone grill). It’s not quite as secluded as we usually prefer, but whether it was by the fire at sunset or during the day lounging in the hot tub—we still felt cozy and comfortable. Would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful peaceful cabin that’s very well stocked with everything that you’re going to need for a stay. Our family loved sitting by the fire pit visiting with each other . We plan on staying again in the future.

We really enjoyed this place. We stayed at one of the smaller houses in the past. The extra room, King bed and a comfy sofa were great. Enjoyed breakfast on the screened porch. Great to get away from the city.

We loved Ann's place. Hiking to the waterfall out back was a special bonus. It's very close to Fall Creek Falls which was a great excursion. The home has comfortable beds, rooms, and hangout space.

This was a last minute trip that was absolutely relaxing with no worries. The property is nestled inside the woods with a gated entrance and a fence. Very private and secure. Catherine was a wonderful host and was very helpful. Definitely worth the stay and we will be back!

Can't even describe how amazing this place was! So much bigger than expected. Finally a kitchen that was truly well stocked. Bill was awesome with communication and so personable. Amazing instructions for everything. Beautiful views, quiet and so homey. Y'all need to visit this place !

This cabin was exactly what we needed! It was quiet, secluded without being too far from a store, cute, clean, and comfortable. Our host was super responsive and accommodating, and check in/out was very easy. We are very happy with our stay and would happily stay again if we are in the area.

The owls nest was an absolutely perfect spot for our family getaway! The home feels instantly cozy and clean, was well stocked with anything you might need in the kitchen. The view from both porches is beautiful and relaxing, our 6 year old especially loved the hammock on the lower porch. The whole cabin is filled with charm and a personal touch that made us feel instantly at home. The 1.5 mile hike up to the top of the hill was also a perfect adventure for all. We loved walking up the creek and around the lake. We hope to visit again and stay longer next time.

We absolutely loved our stay! Very peaceful yet close drive to town for a quick bite or supermarket run. Great set up to get off the grid, yet with all modern accommodations - the WiFi worked perfectly 😊 We stayed over new years and plan to be back in the spring!

Carols place was great! I didn’t get to stay the entire time due to a pet emergency, but it was comfy and had everything you could need for the stay. I will definitely be returning for another stay and I encourage anyone looking to stay here!

This is a beautiful cabin set at the edge of the woods. The space was very clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed being in nature but still a short drive from the city. The hosts are wonderful, provided good pre-arrival and checkout instructions, and provided quick answers to any questions.

This review should actually have 10 stars because it truly was PHENOMENAL. The location was everything we were looking for. The house? So beautifully and delicately decorated with love and family, it fills the space. It smelled amazing when we walked inside. The cabin was spotlessly clean. The hosts provided cooking water, drinking water, pop and there were even organic eggs in the fridge!! There were plenty of puzzles and games available; plenty of different settings to sit and get cozy in. The blankets? Ugh. So soft. The river? The rocks? Stunning. We loved walking miles along the river one way and miles the other way along the road! We really enjoyed being able to sleep with the windows open and wake up to the beautiful sounds of nature. We loved sitting on jump rock and watching the bats feed at dusk. Did I mention the axe throwing and the fire pit? The pool table? So many opportunities to smoke your spouse or family in games while’s having fun and connecting! We will be back.

The cabin and the area around are so peaceful, and felt nostalgic. We had a great time at the cabin and will definitely be returning!

This place is certainly one of our favorites we’ve ever rented. It was a beautiful home and surroundings. We planned to go the state park and hike one day but we literally stayed at the house all day! One of the best family vacation we have ever had!

Shara had a wonderful cabin. Everything was just like it said . Very clean . Very quiet. A good amount of space. I felt right at home . Beautiful view. Shara was amazing at responding right away . Would definitely stay again when I come back. Me and my family enjoyed the cabin . It was very peaceful . Shara is a very good host. You will absolutely love this cabin.
