Our stay at Sissy's place for a month was a truly delightful experience. Sissy is a fantastic host; she has a warm heart and embodies the essence of hospitality in the most natural and welcoming manner. The room, as well as the common areas, are basic yet impeccably clean, providing everything necessary for a comfortable stay without any unnecessary frills. Our room faced the roadside, and although there was some traffic noise, it was never bothersome or disruptive to our peace. I highly recommend staying at Sissy's for anyone looking for a budget-friendly option without sacrificing comfort or warmth. It's not just a place to stay but an experience to remember, thanks to Sissy's incredible hospitality.

Excellent host, very helpful and kind. Place is walking distance to a supermarket. Walking distance to the city center (queen emma bridge). Will fully recommend staying here.

Best place on the island. Friendliest staff. Strategically located to the most beautiful beaches in the north but als close to Willemstad. Eco- lodge and on top of it local tips and tricks for visits and restaurants. Wow.

Todo genial! Si te apetece relajarte en Curazao y disfrutar de las playas con un precio asequible este alojamiento es para ti. La habitación con la cocina es pequeña pero la verdad q muy cómoda. Tener en cuenta q está a unos 40min del centro de la isla, para volver de noche sobre todo da palo pero se llega rápido y el paseo es guay. Hay playas espectaculares cerquita a 4 min del alojamiento. gracias Bianca y todo el staff❤️❤️

We loved our stay! Perfectly peaceful and very integrated with nature. Even have some donkey’s to pet! Loved breakfast under the veranda. Pool was delightfully deep. Danita was super responsive, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about things to do all across the island.

A melhor localização de Willemstad. Fizemos tudo a pé quando não estávamos nas praias. O quarto é excelente, exatamente como nas fotos. Novo e com espaço ótimo. Voltaria para Curacao e ficaria nesse mesmo local.

We loved everything about our stay at Danita's place. The breakfast every morning was truly a treat and they go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and satisfied. The outdoor shower was so lovely to have and was great to use at any point of the day. Wifi speeds were stellar and they had a great book of tips for things to do locally (go to the Ostrich Farm). It was truly a unique experience and a highlight of our trip to Curacao.

We absolutely loved this spot right on the sea at Playa Lagun! Cecilia was a kind and gracious host. The views were spectacular. Snorkeling is accessible right off the cliffside and was teeming with tropical fish. There are a few restaurants nearby and all of them were good. This location is right next to a beach, but there are many within close driving distance as well. We will definitely be back!

Big floating bed, nice little balcony. Super clean and the decor was super cute. The only thing I could complain about is the TV, it had no apps. Other than that it was perfect! They even leave beverages for you in the fridge. Noisy at night but they leave ear plugs for you. They let me checkin early which was a big plus. Super cute and cool stay close to everything!

Great place, nice location, easy access to Jan theil beach. Host surprised us with flower petals and towel swans as a nice touch upon our arrival as we came for a couple days as party of our honeymoon. Very clean and nice.

Amazing place, great location. The lady was super nice and welcoming. We had a great stay :) The only point we had was that the toilet and the bedroom are in one room, a little less romantic ;) (this can be seen in the pictures of course :))

The short version: 11/10! Highly recommended! The fuller version: I truly don't have words for how grateful I am for the wonderful staff and management at Bario Hotel who welcomed me and sheltered me after I endured a horrific experience at a different guesthouse in Curaçao. (Long story short, I was harassed and eventually brutally assaulted by the male owner there and had to be rescued and removed from that location by Good Samaritan locals who witnessed the assault and stepped in to help me escape to safety - which is how I ended up at Bario.) The minute I arrived (injured and still in shock), staff immediately assured me that I was safe and even helped me connect with the local tourist police so I could begin making a report. They were professional, responsive, and so, so kind. Although my time in Curaçao was not entirely positive, my experience with Bario was a true bright spot during a difficult time - so to everyone there, thank you SO much!! To guests, book with confidence!

I absolutely love this boutique hotel. It’s our second time staying here. The ambiance was delectable, beautiful and amazingly welcoming. Everything is close by and all the tourists spots are near by. Restaurants and lounges are near by. Our hotel was clean and tidy. The bed was amazing, slept sooo comfortable. My only, only complaint was that the water would get cold after a while. Two restaurants in hotel, only had the pleasure to try the main one and not the other. Next time will definitely try it. Already planning our next time ;0) Oh and the staff super friendly and helpful.

De kamer was prachtig, de service van het personeel was enorm vriendelijk en gezellig zelfs. Ik heb er twee heerlijke nachten gehad, lekker rustig en de omgeving en het uitzicht is echt adembenemend. Zeker een aanrader om er ook te eten (zowel ontbijt als diner was super). Het zwembad erbij was ook een pluspunt voor de verkoeling. Al met al, een plek waar ik zo weer zou terugkeren 🥳✨. Ook het nachtje met mn dochter van 5 was super, zij wilde niet meer weg 💜.

Muy buena atención, la comida es deliciosa la habitación es muy bonita,cuenta con todo lo necesario es muy tranquilo, es muy cerca al aeropuerto y las señoras que atienden son muy queridas. Jerrolles un señor muy querido,atento y muy respetuoso.

What a great place to stay in Curacao. I just stopped over for a night on my way North. The girls at the reception were fantastic and I had the chance to meet the Hosts early in the morning who helped me to find a cab. Great place, great atmosphere, and great location. My only regret was not staying there for a couple of days more. Well done!

Awesome location, centrally located in relation to everything on the island (by car) and very safe neighborhood to stay in. My husband and i loved the free access to the beach and our morning runs around the golf. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to be outside of Willemstad buzz and traffic, but not too far from the action!
