The horses stopped by several times a day. It was magical. Just a short drive to the ocean where we conveniently parked our car on the beach. We had plenty of room on the beach. People were not on top of each other. It was a wonderful vacation! The house was spacious and nicely decorated. the kitchen was well stocked.

Loved Dana’s and Matt’s place Surrounded by Beautiful views House was clean free from clutter Loved the idea of a wood burning fire in the fire pit beside the water 💜 Was able to do some fishing didn’t catch any but it was relaxing anyways 😊 Was able to meet Dana in person which was a real treat . Very friendly She made us feel right at home . Would love to return in the future .

River Shore had room for the two of us to spread out a little and enjoy the river view. The geese flying overhead and the red birds chirping in the yard gave us many pleasurable moments did walking along the entryway road. Very enjoyable stay.

This house was perfect for us! It was a beautiful, private location. The house was spacious, clean, and very conducive to spending time together as a family, but also for quiet time, if needed. The location was awesome and it was so helpful having a parking pass for the beaches. 10/10 would totally stay here again.

This was a beautiful home. Evan made sure we were taken care of. Loved knowing what kind of coffee maker was there. We went to OBX because our son and his family recently moved there. We wanted to spend thanksgiving with them and take our older grandchildren with us. The house was perfect for all of us and was nice we could have our feast together. The kayaks and paddle boat were really fun for our older grandchildren and a great feature. Felt right at home. Loved the special gift that was waiting for us and the Christmas decorations We will stay again the next time we go to the OBX. 💕💕💕💕

This was a great stay with plenty of room for our big family vacation. We really enjoyed the paddle boards and boats, the dock made it fun for the whole family even in the middle of winter. Beach access was very close and we really enjoyed the drives on the beach in the 4x4’s. We highly recommend this stay for the full OBX experience. We saw at least a dozen wild horses every day we were there.

Without a doubt one of the best places we have stayed in. Alan was easy to communicate with and super responsive . The house was beautiful and in a peaceful area. Neighbors were wonderful. Kitchen was easy to cook meals in and had everything we needed. Beds were clean and comfortable, showers were hot and towels were fluffy! The sound was a walk down the driveway and had great sunsets. Beach access was less than a 8 minute drive. Beach towels and all things you need were available. Pool was perfect and clean. The canal at the back of the house was great and lots of wildlife to hang out with. We would without a doubt come back again!! Just loved this place so much!! Thank you Alan for making our vacation so stress free and enjoyable!!

Amanda was extremely helpful and very kind. My fiancé and I had a great time there and honestly would go again if ever needed!

To say this was a great stay is truly an understatement! I loved every bit of our little getaway at Roberta’s property. Upon entering the home you can look out and see the lake, which was a huge plus for us. The home was clean, cozy, and had up to date appliances which my boyfriend and I loved since our favorite thing to do together is cook. Roberta was very friendly and was quick to respond to any questions I had before and during my stay. I absolutely hated that we had to leave! Such a peaceful atmosphere, we will definitely be booking again!

Cayce & Reece are fabulous!!! They respond to all your questions right away. They are very helpful and make your stay very comfortable. We didn’t need anything because they have it all covered!!! You are very close to b everything here, beach, groceries & restaurants. This was our second year staying with them and with a totally handicapped adult, their house works perfectly. I highly recommend staying here.

What a beautiful place to stay. Theresa took a chance on renting to us young people and boy am I glad she did. what peaceful mornings watching the sunrise on the dock. Was a lovely place to have our dog. the kitchen was all setup for making wonderful dinners. A town and beach only 30 minutes away gave us plenty to do. Our 6 month old puppy loved the beach... I am so grateful to our host. This space is 1000% worth the money. The host makes it even better handling everything with grace and class.

We loved staying at this cozy cabin! The water views were simply gorgeous. Our two dogs were very comfortable and loved the yard. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the screened in porch. The only thing I would give a heads up on are the roosters next door. They started crowing at 6:30am and didn’t let up until 8:30am. Then they randomly crowed throughout the day. It didn’t really bother me, but it woke up my kids and thus they woke up my husband and myself. So, just something to be aware of. Everything else was absolutely perfect.
