Frank and Martha’s place is super cute. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The house has lots of open space and is a short drive to all the essentials. Frank’s and Martha were very communicative and accommodating leading up to my stay. Highly recommend!

Such a lovely place. Everything was very clean and described accurately. The neighborhood is quiet and only a short drive to where stores and restaurants are located.

Wonderful... Family Christmas vacation was wonderful for my family and elderly parents. Olga was thorough with instructions. House was CLEAN, spacious, and beautiful. Kitchen fully equipped for finishing Christmas dinner. This was my family's first vacation away from home at Christmas and everyone wants to return next year. Thank you Olga!

Without a doubt one of the best places we have stayed in. Alan was easy to communicate with and super responsive . The house was beautiful and in a peaceful area. Neighbors were wonderful. Kitchen was easy to cook meals in and had everything we needed. Beds were clean and comfortable, showers were hot and towels were fluffy! The sound was a walk down the driveway and had great sunsets. Beach access was less than a 8 minute drive. Beach towels and all things you need were available. Pool was perfect and clean. The canal at the back of the house was great and lots of wildlife to hang out with. We would without a doubt come back again!! Just loved this place so much!! Thank you Alan for making our vacation so stress free and enjoyable!!

Our stay at Maureen's was amazing!! She was very helpful in offering nice places to see during our stay! She was also helpful in leaving labels on cabinets in the house so we could find items! This was a great experience and we had a fun time!

The condo was very clean and welcoming, everything we needed was provided. The location was somewhat secluded but still provided easy access to the main strip of the OBX and shopping. There was a private parking area included right off of the beach which was great and there's access to an indoor and outdoor pool for those days youve just had enough sand. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone who wants to visit the OBX and still have the amenities of home.

Outstanding stay. Great location. Quiet. Quick access to beach. Great pool for use. Short drive to local infrastructure (must eat: lighthouse bagels!). Proactive and well communicating host Lisa. Overall highly recommended. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Arrive before dark! Good thing we did, because there were no road signs--the dunes and nature have really reclaimed as much as possible, but we used GPS and our trusty Tacoma got us there just fine. The house is one of the last before the Refuge and not many visitors were there in the neighborhood for November. The weather was perfect for fall. We walked out to the beach daily. We planned on not needing supplies, but one day we easily drove into town and to the park. We went in the hot tub at least twice a day, cooked and baked, watched lots of movies and just enjoyed unwinding. The house has great decks and levels and you can follow the sun with a new perch throughout the day--it felt like a treehouse. We saw lots of sea birds, hawks, wild ponies and even a coyote from the porch. Thanks for answering my questions and being willing to bring us more supplies, if needed. We loved our stay, thanks Sarah!

The location was perfect for our trip. We travel with our dog. We needed a pet friendly place and this was perfect. Everything we needed was there to be able to cook and rest from being out shopping and fishing. The property appears to be 30 to 40 years old and a good bit of repairs and or updates are underway. Typical for a costal property. Appliances in kitchen are updated. View of water is un obstructed. The dock/pier is solid and comfortable to walk on and fish from. We enjoyed having the grassy yard for our dog to enjoy. Very quiet places during our Thanksgiving stay. We would book again if it is available and look forward to it.
