Great location! We were able to boat to both Trident and Duncan Bridge Marinas. The views were gorgeous. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and perfect for 6 adults (3 couples). Of note there were only 2.5 baths not 3.5 as listed. The two queen rooms share a Jack n’ Jill bathroom.

This was an incredible experience! This place is especially perfect for couples, no matter the occasion. I would definitely recommend it for an anniversary or even a honeymoon. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and unique. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the entire stay felt like a bucket list experience I didn’t even know I needed. Again, the scenery is beyond beautiful—peaceful, serene, and the perfect escape. We especially loved relaxing by the fire pit in the evenings, and one of the highlights was making pizza from scratch on a pizza stone using the gas grill provided by the hosts. Everything was just perfect—truly a 10,000 out of 10 experience! Whether you’re someone who’s seasoned at off-the-grid living or it’s your first time trying something like this, this place is a gem. It’s the kind of stay that meets you where you are and gives you exactly what you didn’t know you needed. Highly, highly recommend! 10 out of 10—highly recommend!

Very clean & safe if ever in the area.. stayed more than once for work trip & will stay again if back in the area

Shane and Jessica were great hosts! Always responsive and helpful. We have already booked a return stay to their home. We were in town for a bass tournament and had plenty of room to park, ability to charge, and streets were easy to navigate. The home, especially the back porch, was so beautiful!

Jessica went above and beyond on absolutely everything during my stay. I love the natural light in the Sunshine House and the peaceful atmosphere of the farm. There is everything you could possibly need for a great stay: Picnic tables, screened-in back porch, all of the sports equipment, books, and toys, and of course all of the animals. One of the goats had 2 babies and my grandkids got to hold them when they visited a few days after the goats were born. Jessica was such a gracious host. She showed the kids how to hold a chicken to pet it, showed them how to collect the eggs, let them pet the new lambs she had just brought to the farm, and of course showed them how to handle the new baby goats. This was my second stay and I miss it already. I can't wait to return in the future.

I highly recommend this host and their lovely home. We had everything we could ever need for a relaxing vacation. The property was beautiful inside and out, clean, the beds were comfortable, and it has anything you might need to cook a meal in the kitchen. We loved the fire pit and hanging out on the back porch and the dock. We are so thankful we could include our pup on this trip. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here on your next trip!

The cabin is easy to get to and sits on a beautiful point facing the lake. There’s a comfy screened porch, firepit area and boat dock with kayaks. There is a smaller studio cabin on the property as well that he owns and could easily allow for a small group of people to rent both structures! It’s clean and we felt safe in the area. Gas station is five miles away with groceries and made to order pizza. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home clean and spacious. Myself, 2 daughters and their family stay here to celebrate my birthday we Had plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom linens. We enjoyed our time and looking forward to booking again during summer

We liked the overall experience- peaceful location, in front of the beautiful lake, comfortable rooms. Perfect place for groups to get together.
