We were delighted to have such a peaceful and private place to rest. Kirill had everything you needed to feel at home. We definately will come again.

We loved our stay at Frenchman's Folly. The cottage is homely, comfortable and very well equipped. It is fully fenced and is very well located at Point Lookout: close to beaches, shops, cafes and the pub. Lots of wallabies and birds to observe and wonderful walks to be had. There's a decent bus service, so with or without a car is fine. Linda is a great host too!

Absolutely amazing to be right on the water, watching the tide come in & go out, seeing boats & yachts passing by. Peaceful, bushy surrounds blissfully listening to bird life. Clean & comfortable furnishings, & has everything needed (& more) in the kitchen & other living areas both inside & out. Peter & Raisa were communicative, helpful, responsive & lovely hosts. It was great to get out & explore the island with lots of hidden gems, fishing spots, & friendly locals. Catching mud crabs was a bonus with the supplied crab pots. Yum! Great house & location, would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

Had a wonderful stay, great area, Rene was available for all questions, quick response to calls. He was a lovely host and supplied some food essentials to make you feel at home. He walked us through and showed us what was where, and helped set the TV for us useless tech ladies! Thanks Rene. We even had a visit from a cute fur baby, fluffy cat.

We had a great time at Pat’s retreat. The house had everything we needed for a family beach holiday with our dog. It is very well-equipped and comfortable. The location is close to everything in Point Lookout- beaches, shops, and walkable to the start of North Gorge walk. We only used the car to transport all our beach gear down but you can certainly walk to everything. For us, Straddie is not a place to go when you want good Internet access. It is a place to have good nature based quality time with the family. We love having no Wifi and being able to switch off. There was enough mobile data to check the weather and the ferry timetable. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stuart's Eclectic home. When we arrived we were greeted by a kangaroo in the back yard and had multiple bouncy visitors throughout our stay, as well as some beautiful kookaburras and curlews. It's so close to all the beaches and shops and walking trails, we walked or rode our bikes predominantly. Had a heatwave while we were there so the house was warm in the upstairs living areas in the afternoon as others have mentioned. A great comfortable beach shack and a lovely way to experience the beauty of what Stradbroke Island has on offer.

What a gem! Absolutely gorgeous place, with everything we needed. Close to the beach. Very quiet and comfy! Would definitely come back!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Brisbane, you would struggle to find a something better than Russell’s place. It was clean, comfortable and had everything you would need for a short or long stay. The pool was also a nice bonus. Russell and Lisa were great hosts, very responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely girls weekend here. The accomodation was just perfect, particularly the ability to socialise comfortably on the super comfy lounge and the outdoor patio with a great view. The place was spotless and the residents in the complex were all so lovely. Pool was a bonus too. 100% recommend!

We really enjoyed staying at the apartment. Plenty of room for the whole family. Will definitely book again.

Beautiful view of the ocean and beach. We were two couples and there was plenty of room. Quite pricey, but an enjoyable stay and the pool was great for a cooling off dip. Very clean and modern. Lovely cool wind off the ocean at night. The bedrooms are upstairs, so don’t book if stairs are an issue.

We had such a lovely stay. From the moment we booked until our farewell Harold was a fabulous host, very warm and welcoming. The home itself was perfect. Easy to find, well positioned with Wynnum and Manly main streets just a walk away, well appointed and quiet. It was lovely sitting outside on the covered patio in the warm weather, even on the days that it rained we could enjoy the outdoors. Our stay was definitely not long enough, being just four days, but we have reaped the benefits of staying at Harold’s as we feel very rested and relaxed from our time there. Highly recommended!

Except for a couple of little things like a leaking shower… everything was excellent. The place, the location and the area.

From booking to checkout it was a lovely experience! Great value for money! The bed linen and towels were high quality! Everything was immaculately clean and well presented. Bed was comfy! In a great area.

We had an amazing stay at Andrea’s place! The view was absolutely stunning, even better than the photos. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, and we had a fantastic time kayaking and swimming. Though getting there took about an hour by ferry (Redland to Russell if you have car), it was totally worth it for the beauty and peace. The sunrise was magical, and the whole atmosphere felt like paradise. Andrea was responsive, and the place was spotless. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a really nice stay at Elena’s place, it is a little basic but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Elena was a kind host with really good communication. A few improvements could be made around the place but it was a good price and I would stay again.

Pheobe is a wonderful host. We unfortunately had a cyclone during our stay but Pheobe made sure we were safe and comfortable and supplied things we may need in a blackout. The beds were comfortable and it was an enjoyable stay despite the weather. Thanks Rayna

It was such an amazing experience! We thought there needed to be wifi or even some sort of an internet booster. The kids wanted to watch some movies on the rainy day and weren’t able to get any download.
