I really appreciated how responsive Deb and Gary were, from the time of booking until my exit. Deb made me feel so welcome and had many small conveniences for me (coffee cream, fluffy towels, super clean space). The Stable has so much character and you can feel the heartbeat of the owners. I was impressed with the many recommendations for local amenities and tried out some of the places on the list. Deb and Gary were so friendly I'd love to come back in warmer weather just to visit with them. I hope to get back this summer!

We stayed at Abby’s Retreat for a birthday getaway celebration and it was the perfect place to stay! Clean, roomy, well thought out floor plan, comfortable, amazing linens, modern and updated rooms and all the extras you want when staying away from home…..to name a few! The fire pit area is so cute and I love how there is firewood beautifully set out for you. The coffee station with everything you need is such a treat in the morning 😊 Then to top off our stay, we walked in to find a completely unexpected birthday gift! It was honestly so thoughtful and made my day 🥰 Thank you so much and we will definitely stay next time we are in Medicine Hat!

A great little cabin just a stone's throw from the Interprovincial Park and ski area (Hidden Valley). Excellent Hosts were responsive. We were there for a few days skiing in blustery weather. Both Hosts were out clearing the driveway daily, when required. Comfortable beds and well-stocked kitchen. Private, clean and quiet. Starlit nights were amazing. The lovely indoor wood-burning stove was great in -30C temps. It would be a fantastic place in summer - close and affordable. The advice about having a 4-wheel drive vehicle in winter should be heeded - the drifts were crazy. I would recommend this spot in any season and would come here again in future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kim’s place in Medicine Hat. The bedrooms are spacious and roomy, perfect for a family needing multiple bedrooms. We loved the open concept living room/dining room and kitchen. We were able to be together all the time, even while preparing meals. There was more than enough of everything - lots of towels for everyone both for the bathroom and hot tub. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked - pots/pans/dishes/plastic storage containers for left overs/plastic wrap/bbq utensils/serving utensils. The weather was perfect to use the hot tub. The house is minutes to the Mall, restaurants and local attractions. We recommend this place to anyone needing a spacious place to stay!

Was an easy and awesome stay! Had a longer stay than usual and Terri was very accommodating.

We spent Christmas here with our family so that we could be close to grandparents in a nearby condo. The number of bedrooms and space for everyone was a big draw for us. Communication before our arrival was great, and entry into the house was quick and easy. The whole house was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Bathrooms were well equipped with towels. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware. There is a Keurig coffee maker and we were well supplied with coffee for our stay. The kitchen table is big for a family to gather around and play games. There is a large, fully fenced back yard. We didn't spend much time out there in the winter but it looked like a great gathering spot for warmer weather. The only other feedback was that the downstairs beds were not as comfortable as the upstairs beds, but we all had a great stay and would highly recommend this for a great family stay in Medicine Hat!

We had a great stay! This “comfort camping” cabin perfectly suited our needs. The grounds are beautiful, spacious and private, and made for a very relaxing getaway. Special shout-out to Julie and Wayne who live on-site and manage the property. They were so welcoming and helpful, and even made sure we knew about fun events happening in the community during our stay. We will definitely be coming back!

If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful setting in a clean place that is not 5 star but very comfortable and roomy this is a great option! The host was friendly and helpful.

The whole family had an awesome stay at Keeley's! She was always accommodating and quick to respond! We really enjoyed the mature neighborhood, and the river was walking distance for the kids, which provided great opportunity for adventure. We would definitely stay again.

the vibe is unmatched. there was plenty of blankets for if you’re cold or just want to snuggle up on the couch. provided with lots of towels so you can have a separate one for the amazing hot tub and showering. everything was phenomenal and so many things to do within walking distance!

As others have said the photos do not do this magical place justice. Murray was easily reachable and very kind. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pans, dishes etc. The AC was magical! Word of advice, unless you are confident in your physical capabilties, do not try to walk to the river from the cabin. The terrain is quite difficult.. lots of cacti, thorns, drop offs. After realizing how unfit we are, we decided to drive to the nearby campground (Sandy Point). We ended up having a wonderful day at the river basically by ourselves.
