While I had some trouble finding the place (because it was in an unexpected row in the RV park - the Row BEFORE the signed address), Salty Dog was immediately corresponding with me on the AirBnB site and helped me find the cabin. I also later explained the location situation / confusion to him. The location was ideal, as it was pretty close to the Strawberry Festival in Plant City - which was my planned event for two days while I was visiting that part of Florida. Overall, I enjoyed a Peaceful stay and had everything I needed while I was there. Thank you, Salty Dog!

My family and i absolutely love this beautiful cabin home! We were able to bring our Labrador and he had an amazing time running in the big yard. Tyler was absolutely the best host always attentive when reaching out to him. If you need a place away from the city life and enjoy some peace and quiet in a beautiful home don’t wait to book!!

My stay in the Rooster Hut was too short. This is the kind of place you fantasize about holding up to hide from the world, write a book, etc.. It is very private and has just enough space for one or two people. It is close to major roads in the area, but still gives you the feeling that you're 10 miles into the wilderness. Inside, the feel is very rustic. Lots of exposed wood and matching furniture. The rooster theme continues inside. The house is furnished as a small home/cabin with a well provisioned full kitchen, etc. There is a bathroom that fits one and a separate shower attached to the kitchen. Upstairs is a nicely sized bedroom with two desks. The bed was large and comfy with soft, clean linens. There were several well placed power outlets to keep devices charged. There are 360 degree windows, so you can wake with the sun (and nearby rooster :)). Wifi was strong and fast and both floors had smart TVs. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and can't wait to return.

We had a last minute trip to Tampa Bay and we're lucky to find a place to stay that was also dog friendly. The listed amenities were accurate and the home had fast internet. We didn't stay long, but it fit our needs.

Jays place was very cozy and comfy. The view off the front porch of #406 was the perfect place to have coffee in the morning and enjoy a cocktail in the evening. He was very responsive and everything was available that was listed. I would stay again if I end back up in Seminole.

House was clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Host was very communicative.

Stay was great, very clean. Private, comfortable beds. The only thing I didn’t like was the check in procedure. They send you a link where you have to fill out with your personal information, scan your ID and also a credit card, if that is not completed, you don’t receive the cabin number nor the door code. All that information is already in possession of airbnb, and you’re being forced to provide it to the resort via a online website. I found it intrusive and delayed our check in.

This home is very comfortably and thoughtfully furnished with just about any amenity you may have forgotten to pack. We visited with friends who live in the Villages and this place was a convenient place to stay located less than 1/2 hour away from their home. We loved the privacy and enjoyed listening to all the birds singing nearby. If we visit the area again, we will definitely stay here again.

I frequently stay at Airbnbs when I travel and Miss Ruby and the surrounding land and trees and lake where so beautiful, much more beautiful than the pictures demonstate. Judi is so helpful and responsive and easy to communicate with. I loved every aspect of my three night stay, the outside shower is amazing, and the camper is so cozy. The lake is stunning. A true nature lovers retreat. I highly recommend staying at Judi's Miss Ruby or Cozy Suite. Thank you Judi, beautiful home and guest quarters for people like me who love to travel and have different experiences. She thought of everything guests may need. Enjoyed our weekend at the cabin. The place was just as advertised and a short drive to Weeki Wachee springs. Easy to spot the place during the day but there is no lighting on the road there at night if you're getting there late like we did. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Gini was a very good host ala superhost. She always responded back to me on any inquiries or questions that I had and typically the response time was quick. The place is just as advertised. It's made for one person to two people to be able to stay comfortably. The place was stocked with all of the essentials in the kitchen and in the bathroom. She actually had some good spices/herbs/seasonings that I had never tried before (as far as one of them) and I used them whenever I cooked for myself. The one spice/seasoning that I never tried before and was fantastic was the "smoky paprika chipotle seasoning" which was so good. I plan to buy some. The only issue I had that other past guests didn't was she has noisy neighbors. The house across the street is a duplex house and a young guy in a white pick-up truck always pulled in with loud music and would sit in his truck playing loud music parked. The house behind her's was playing loud music for several hours Saturday night and Sunday night.

You can’t beat the hospitality and the views. Perfect for small center consoles and bay boats. Cameron was friendly and very helpful would recommend this place to any scalloper or inshore fishermen.

Outstanding place and host. We stayed for a weekend and would have loved to have stayed longer. Great views and very clean. Far enough away for peace and quiet yet only 5 minutes from downtown.
