Over the years, I've stayed in places around the world that I've booked through Airbnb. This listing is one of the best I've experienced. The location is fabulous: many places I could walk to, and bus stops were convenient when I wanted to ride public transportation. The flat is comfortable, the kitchen very useable, and the laundry machine a treat to have onsite. I also loved having Kay's Bar, a truly neighborhood pub, a short stroll away.

I had a wonderful stay at Scott’s place! The house is located right by the beach, and the master bedroom has a stunning view of the sunrise—it’s definitely the highlight of my mornings. The atmosphere inside the house is warm and welcoming, with family photos on the walls that really add a personal touch. I also loved the mattress; it was incredibly comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet at night, making it the perfect place to relax. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a serene and beautiful getaway!

We had a lovely few days in this beautiful flat in the centre of Stockbridge. Having access to a gorgeous garden added to the enjoyment. We would highly recommend this place and hope to visit again ourselves. The hosts were helpful and quick to respond. 10/10 superb!

Very responsive to questions. Clean and comfortable beds. Having washer and dryer was great after being on the road for over a week. Short drive to Tesco and Stirling Castle.

I stayed at this wonderful property for a few days right after getting married, kicking off my honeymoon while also showing my new in-laws some of the best parts of the UK. The entire family had a great time here—it’s clean, very spacious, and truly felt like home. We did run into a minor issue with a bathroom leak (a bit of bad luck on my part, I suppose), but the host was incredibly responsive and did everything they could to resolve it quickly. I really appreciate how it was handled and am grateful for the prompt attention. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely property. If I’m ever in Edinburgh again with family or friends, I’d definitely check if this place is available before considering other options in the Old Town area. A cozy cottage close to major roads. We loved the homey feel, the great heating and the comfy lounge. Our hosts were responsive, friendly and helpful.

We love St. Andrew's and No 3 was a perfect place for our family of 3. We were here to visit the school and spend some time in the town vs golf, so it was pretty ideal for our needs. About a 20 min walk from here to the middle of town so easy to tour, find places to eat etc. but it is a bit uphill so you wouldn't want to haul your golf clubs from here to the first tee. The home has a beautiful story and is wonderful and clean. On a sunny day the back garden is idyllic and the entire neighborhood is super peaceful. Lorna was incredibly responsive and left us wonderful home made treats, coffee, tea, milk and jam. We loved it and when we return we'd stay again!

A wonderful great stay. Would highly recommend. Coming from the states I didn’t miss any of the modern luxuries of housing. Fully functional kitchen, and warm spaces with lots of natural light. A truly home away from home feeling. Thank you and hope to meet again in the future.

Jamie is an absolutely lovely host and the flat is beautiful and spotless. The bus stop right outside is very handy, also the Co Op just around the corner. Not the most salubrious area but nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again, an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh.

Loved staying here and Marie was the best host. The house was just outside of the main part of the city which made for peaceful evenings and the bus stop was less than a minute walk away and so easy to buy tickets. We did the whole week trip using public transportation and walked to the grocery store around the corner. Marie gave us all the information we needed on how to navigate the city what was nearby and even offered to call us our taxis on departure day. Marie was such a sweet and thoughtful host and the house was so cozy and comfortable for our party of 7 (2 adults 2 seniors and 3 kids 10 and under) if we ever have the chance to make it back to Edinburgh we won’t stay anywhere else!

We all thoroughly enjoyed being in the house. It is spacious and extremely well equipped. Perfect location for the golf, shops, restaurants etc. Everything worked well and communication was excellent. Thoroughly recommend and we would all return in a heartbeat.

Had great stay at Ryan's, very well located in the centre of the town so it's easy to get around. Shops, pubs and restaurants all within a 2 minute walk. Very clean and welcoming flat, highly recommend.

Fantastic dwelling, great location and excellent hosts. We will definitely look to return to Edinburgh in the future and seek this residence as well as highly recommending it to our friends and family. Our hosts Mark and Dayna were wonderful especially with their wonderful gesture of allowing us to stay an extra night, free of charge, due to The Hogmanay Festival being cancelled. Thank you again. Nevertheless a wonderful visit to Edinburgh underpinned by an excellent apartment and generous hosts.

Lovely apartment for our family of four! It has a great location in a neighborhood with lots of restaurants within a short walking distance and is a 30 minute walk to the city center or a quick tram ride. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and has all the amenities needed. The area is so quiet at night. No city sounds! Book it! 😊

Michelle was wonderful. We had an overnight flight but were allowed to leave bags early and check in several hours earlier. Michelle was responsive and a great resource. Shower was a bit tricky to navigate, and could have used some extra towels but otherwise everything was as described. Had some trouble with the dryer our last day, but things break down so no big deal. We loved the location. Be prepared for City noise - some ear plugs took care of that! Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks for an awesome stay!

This apartment was everything we needed. Fantastic location, good space and reasonably priced. Alastair is an excellent host. Quick to respond and very willing to offer suggestions regarding your stay in St Andrews. Plus, the apartment is half block from Old Course & Dunvegan's pub! Can't beat that. Bottom line, definitely worth staying here.

Lovely flat, good location, quiet area but still only a 15 minute walk from the city centre. Lots to do and see in Stockbridge. The flat was ideal, comfy bed, comfy sofas and felt very homely, would definitely stay here again.

this was my friends first time in edinburgh and it was the perfect location for walking and for driving. although the right block was hard to find a first as soon as we made it in we felt right at home and ended up leaving our car parked the whole time. the place was perfect and the blankets were greatly appreciated. only things we would note is we couldn’t manage to use the controllers to work the tv (could just be us haha) and if you are ordering food drivers have real trouble finding the building. thank u sue for letting us stay❤️

Had a magical stay at Dora's, it felt absolutely like a wonderland, a great place. The windows let in such nice sun all day, the place was a bit outside the centre but walkable, felt quiet where we were. Had such a nice time.
