This was the perfect home away from home in Selma. Nesbert and his wife made sure to make the place comfortable and cozy with touches like water, luggage racks, and games in the living room. The place is spacious yet cozy and exactly as pictured. It’s located in a beautiful, historic neighborhood which is peaceful except when punctuated by the occasional train whistle. Thank you for a great stay!

Hands down the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had! Margaret’s place was beautiful, peaceful and clean! It was the perfect location for our trip and Margaret was super hospitable and responsive. I can’t wait to stay there again!

What an incredible, beautiful, extraordinary experience. The home was exactly what we were looking for and more. We went to Selma for a funeral and needed a place big enough to fit our family. It is spacious and clean. The host was absolutely outstanding. Accommodating, responsive, understanding and made the stay comforting. It truly felt like home. It was exactly what our family needed. If you are looking for a farmhouse, country feel with plenty of space, and a comforting down home feel, this is it! You will be doing yourself/family a favor if you book here! This is our “spot” moving forward, anytime we are in Selma, Al Truly appreciated this Airbnb and is one of the best ones I have stayed at.

We stayed Oct. 25th - 27th 2024 with six family adult members. My husbands’ supervisor gave him six tickets for the Alabama football homecoming game. This home is magnificent with its high ceilings. The host provided family games, a small book library, cleaning supplies and wood logs for the outside fire pit. The WiFi was perfect.The decor was historically and thoughtfully placed throughout this large home. I imagine this home could had once been a colonial home on a cotton plantation. Cotton Fields were in full bloom as we sat on the back porch. The home is a mixture of a modern 20th century farmhouse. This home is a rare find for an Airbnb. We loved sitting out by the fire pit enjoying a few cocktails and making s’mores. The barbecue grill had a full tank of propane, cleaned and ready for our use. We enjoyed our grilled steaks. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans. Brad (the host) was a superior host. Definitely a house we could call HOME SWEET HOME. ROLL TIDE ❤️

Glenda's property was just as we hoped from the listing! Glenda was a great host. Always responsive and very informative! Hope to stay again if we are in the area!
