We stayed several day at this wonderful place. It was an easy check in with all instructions provided beforehand. The place is big and has many things to offer for large families. In summer you can fish, use heated pool. We went in winter, so we used hot tub. The bed was comfortable, pillows soft. The hosts were very responsive and checked with us every day. There are stores in 10-15 minutes drive, in case you forget anything. Kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, coffee makers with coffee included, if you're a tea-lover bring your tea. If you like hiking there are a lot of routs in driving distance. I recommend to check with Delaware Water Gap Park office, they will help you to find brethtaking science and picturesque routs.

We had an amazing stay at Jeffery’s house. From booking to checkout super responsive and proactively gave us tips for areas to explore and restaurants outside. Lovely backyard trail. The house gets well heated. Peaceful stay. 6/5

This was our second year staying at this fantastic house over Super Bowl weekend, and it was just as amazing as the first time! The hosts are incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the entire process seamless from start to finish. The house itself is spotless, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’ve already decided—we’ll definitely be back next year. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hassle-free, relaxing getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, spacious, very warm despite the cold, and had a terrific pool table and air hockey table. Our family relaxed and spent good time together.

Cindy's home was immaculate -- we appreciated one of the home rules being no outdoor shoes on in the house! We are big coffee drinkers so we also enjoyed the variety of K-Cups that we had to select from -- we felt right at home. Cindy's home is in a very quiet, safe neighborhood and it is very close to all of the stores in downtown Honesdale. We were so pleased with our stay that we have already been in communication with her about some future dates when we visit NEPA again!

very kind and responsive host! a little confusing with the instructions about the second floor heat and the vent to turn on, which turned out to be a whole house fan so probably not best to use mid cold spell in winter, however it did cool down the second floor at night so can't complain! our host was quick to respond when we had a question. I had asked if there were dish towels for the kitchen and the next day he had Walmart deliver some. one of the toilets got clogged and he had a plumber out there within hours. my dog scratched up a door and frame, much to my horror, and when I contacted Edward embarrassed and offering to pay for damages, he was very understanding and kind about the whole thing. hot tub, fire place, and sauna worked wonderfully. the tvs worked great and we played lots of pool and fuseball. tvs in every room. and it was nice and close to the indoor water parks! also, the house was well stocked with toilet paper and dish detergent. thanks for a great stay!

We had a great little weekend getaway. The house was very clean and cozy . We were able to relax and unwind without any distractions. We look forward to another visit .

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jennifer‘s place. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning even while frozen over. The house was super spacious, and the beautiful dining table was perfect for all of us to play games and share meals together. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything needed to cook. It was conveniently located by so many activities. Overall we had a fantastic weekend and will definitely be back!

I would recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a nice getaway. Me and my girlfriend stayed here on Valentine’s Day weekend and when we walked into the place we were stunned! It was way bigger and beautiful than the pictures we saw. Everything was clean and very well organized. When we had a problem with the stove late at night Josh the owner drove 2 hours and was there early morning just to come fix the problem. The host Heather even sent use treats for an apology for the inconvenience. Josh had also given us some recommendations such as axe throwing, bowling, and even told us to stop by the town Hawley because of all the shops there. He also let use know that you could walk on the lake when it’s frozen since it’s a foot thick. People were seen using their snow mobiles and some people go ice fishing on it so we had to of course walk to the middle of the lake and enjoy the view! Overall this place was amazing, the host and owner are very responsive and friendly. ❤️

Paula's place exceeded my groups expectations! First of all, it was HUGE! We knew renting a 6 bedroom house would be large but wow was it large! The expansive spaces were much appreciated for our large group, and the kids had so much room to play. There's room for tons of parking, and the surrounding fields are beautiful - we even saw deer on our last morning there. An easy 15 minute drive to Belleayre! The hot tub was amazing and sadly we didn't get to use the sauna, but both were extremely clean and inviting. The instructions for the cover on the hot tub are so easy and convenient! The only bummer was that the house is right on a main road, and while there isn't a ton of traffic, the cars/trucks that do go by can be LOUD!! But that has nothing to do with the house and would not prevent us from staying again. Paula was responsive and kind, and we hope to stay again!

Perfect getaway! This serene house exceeded our expectations. Ideally located for college tours (just 1hr from SUNY Binghamton and 1hr from SUNY New Paltz). We explored nearby both colleges gems: Walkway Over the Hudson Bridge, Minnewaska State Park, and enjoyed dinner at Courtside Bar/Grill in Binghamton and “El Paso” in Highland. The house has everything needed for cooking; we loved using the indoor chimney and outdoor stove for grilling. The private creek and outdoor space are breathtaking - can't wait to return in summer! Don't hesitate to book; you won't regret it!

Our stay at Marcel’s was amazing. Everything looked exactly as posted and described. Marcel sent very thorough information and instructions for use of everything. The beds were truly the most comfortable beds ever! We had the best sleep. There was so many items in the kitchen to use and condiments in fridge etc. The wood burning stove was the perfect part to the weekend. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked beautiful. We did notice mice droppings around the house, mostly in the kitchen but we were made aware of that prior. We just made sure to keep all food away- no issue there! Our two dogs enjoyed the stay as well.

My friends and I went for a ladies weekend. We loved everything about the home. Hot tub was clean. Rooms clean and spacious. Kitchen is roomy. All you need to make a full course meal. Overall great home.

Great spot for exploring with dogs! The neighborhood includes another house that I believe John shares with family and friends, so we weren’t entirely alone in the area—which I personally found reassuring. If you’re looking for complete seclusion, it’s a good idea to confirm this detail with John. Right behind his home, there’s a trail perfect for morning strolls, and the location is very accessible for road cycling, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It would also be a fantastic base for mountain or gravel biking adventures! John’s place was spotless, comfortable, and had a nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. Highly recommend!
