Great relaxing place, the amenities really made it, Would stay there again for sure. Perfect place if you are looking to slow down for a few days.

We had the most peaceful stay at the container cabins. Such a smart use of space in such a beautiful wooded spot by the stream. Porter is a friendly, responsive and helpful host. We can’t wait to be back!

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our experience here! We were looking for a real log cabin that felt like a home away from home, and this was it. It was so cozy and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, the hot tub was relaxing, and the kitchen had all of the essentials. It truly lived up to the listing. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been the weather, but this was still the perfect place to be on a rainy day. I’ve already recommended the place to friends!

What a wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing stay we had at Fern Pond! My husband and I needed a quick getaway to just rest and recharge and this place met every expectation I had about how this weekend would pan out. The vibe in the house is so cute and not "stuffy." Checkin/entering the house was a breeze. You walk in feeling right at home which is exactly what we were hoping for. You walk in to a quaint living room with a beautiful wood burning stove and a really nice kitchen with everything you need to cook. The master bedroom is set in the back and the king-sized bed is sooo comfortable. The perfect firmness - my back was so happy! The bathroom was also so pretty and clean. I loved the little office off of the bedroom with the cutest guestbook which made us feel so wanted and welcomed. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing at night amongst the quiet setting of the woods. The icing on the cake was lighting a fire in the wood burning stove and just relaxing on the couch. 10 out of 10!

We had a wonderful stay! 10/10 definitely recommend!! Communication was top tier, and we felt right at home.

What an awesome trip! The cabin and backyard was beautiful and we loved the hot tub. We recommend visiting Kent Falls and Craft Kitchen and Bar. Overall totally worth every penny and would love to visit again!

What a peaceful, cozy place to unwind and recharge. Kristin was very prompt, courteous, and informative from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated how the place was lit up (including the fireplace) with soothing background music playing as we entered the cabin, it was a warm welcome after a long drive in the freezing rain. The cabin was very private with a great view, and if you wanted to check out the surrounding area there are many places to visit, including Kristin's recommendations. All the amenities were as advertised. We especially enjoyed cooking our meals together utilizing their long and linear kitchen setup from the sink to the oven. Bedroom was very snug and both interior and exterior lighting felt very relaxing and, last but not least, beautiful sunrise and sunset. Overall a great vibe, was a great winter wonderland experience. We'd love to visit again in spring and autumn.

Wow! The pictures don’t even do this place justice. We couldn’t have had a more relaxing weekend. Amanda provided so many great recs for our trip and was so good at communicating leading up to the trip. Would definitely come back again in the summer!

Nicki's cabin was perfect for my husband and dog during a 2 night stay for the weekend. The cabin is located in a private and peaceful location. Perfect for birding right from indoors in the early morning. Spent cozy nights by the indoor fireplace. Our pup also loved the outdoor space. I highly recommend to anyone visiting to the Catskills mountain for the first time. Woodstock is also close by, we may return again!

If your looking for a peaceful trip to the mountains, this place is perfect. It was private but 15-20 mins from a good restaurant and town. The Cabin feels spacious with a nicely designed floor plan. Loft, projector/music room was a good touch! Lots of great hikes in the area, bring crampons during winter months!! We would totally come back here in the future. The host(s) were responsive and helpful with tips from GPS use to pre downloading movies to play from your phone/projector. All cables and adapters were there already. Just bring good vibes, the rest is taken care of!

I loved staying in this home and hope to rent it again. It is just a few minutes from town and nestled in the woods. The place is beautifully decorated and has everything you need.

Just what we needed for a private weekend getaway from real life. Can’t wait to do it again

It was our first time in the Catskills and it was amazing! The cabin was very cozy, clean and just as described and shown in the listing. We loved using the fireplace to warm us as we watched movies, enjoyed each other's company and relaxed. The street is private and peaceful with a nice river flowing through the neighborhood. For dinner we ordered at a local diner and it was only a five minute drive to town. There a couple of gift shops and grocery store nearby that had everything we needed. There were also many trails nearby. We did the Kaaterskill Falls trail and saw the half frozen Haines falls which were beautiful! We were excited to see some snowfall and it was the coziest weekend we had in a long time. I think Niko loved the cabin more than we did since he was so sad to leave! Overall, we found the area beautiful and our host Katie was helpful answering our questions and will definitely be back for another getaway in the mountains! Thanks for letting us bring Niko!

My family and I had a lovely time at Jon’s cabin. The cabin is so cozy and secluded yet 5 minutes or less from the main strip in Woodstock. The cabin has everything you’ll need for your stay and is decorated with Jon’s Grandfather’s artwork which was really cool to see. We would definitely recommend staying at Jon’s cabin, we felt right at home and would 100% stay again when back in the area. Jon is a wonderful host. Thank you for having us!

Amazing place for a weekend gateway. It’s in the woods, by the lake, so the view is fantastic. Very quiet, relaxing and cozy. The house is very clean, well furnished, you have everything you need. The fireplace is great. Clear and fast communication with Cat, she allowed us for a late checkout, well appreciated! We loved our stay, highly recommended!

The place is beautiful and the view of the woods from the bedroom was very peaceful. Saw a family of deer walking around a couple mornings. Driving up the hill entrance wasn’t too bad, easy to find once you know what you’re looking for. The place was very cozy. Loved the record player and old classical music vinyls, and the projector was a cute touch also. Everyone in the area is so nice as well

This is an excellent place to use as a base camp for ventures around the area, particularly for hiking. The house itself is well done and clean. Might say its a bit cold (I probably came ~1mo early weather wise) but still would go again. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing but great things to say about this Airbnb. The house was absolutely beautiful and so cozy. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with pretty much everything you need. The hosts were also incredibly helpful and responded right away whenever we had questions or issues with anything. Highly recommend this Airbnb. I hope to come back one day!

We recently stayed at the Nordic Cabin and loved every minute of it! From the moment we first set eyes on the cabin to when we stepped inside the warm, inviting decor, we knew we made the right choice. While the pictures online were nice, the cabin in person was much better. There were several hiking trails we visited nearby, including the Stairway to Heaven and the Appalachian Trail. On the day we hiked the Appalachian, we woke up to a dreamy scene of heavy misty fog from the lake drifting through the trees, viewed beautifully through the large picture windows. The fog continued later in the day during the hike, making the trail feel mystical. We would have stayed longer, but we were eager to return to the cabin. Property feels very secluded with the back facing the lake. We imagined how picturesque this place would be during the fall foliage and made a note to return in autumn if not sooner. Final comment - loved the towel warmer!

A perfect way to disconnect and find peace. I wish I knew about Sticks and Stones sooner. The location is perfectly tucked away in the woods, with beautiful views and lots to explore. The staff are very friendly and easy to get ahold of if needed. I cant wait to spend another weekend at Sticks and Stones in the near future!

We loved our stay at Joe & Barb's place! The cabin is delightful; beautiful surrounds, peaceful and quiet while being just a short drive from the amenities of New Paltz. Joe gave us great tips for nearby hikes, and we enjoyed a tour of the veggie garden (with full credit to Barb the gardener!), and hearing about the sustainability/eco-friendly initiatives of the property. We have stayed here several times as we walk in peaceful music was playing and the fire place was on. Phoebe is an amazing hardworking woman who works her tail off to keep the property clean. We highly recommend our favorite place to go and shut it down. Such a peaceful place we can’t wait to go back 💯💯💯highly recommend

Kathy's cabin was exactly what we needed. As city folk, we often look for places that truly take us out of the norm, and this place was just that. It was cozy, clean, and stocked with everything you could need. Everything felt magical from the uniqueness of the renovated sauna to the twinkle lights that greet you upon arrival. We saw deer in the mornings, and at night, the sky was filled with gorgeous stars while the croak of frogs added to the fairyland-like atmosphere. Kathy was also incredibly gracious and accommodating. Highly recommend!
