My two boys and I stayed at Dawns Beach cottage for spring break. There is so much to do or not do on Hatteras depending on your mood. Her place is convenient to the beach and convenient to restaurants and the skate board park. We went to Edge daily and Waterman’s. Also highly recommended the Filipino food truck Hoy Lechon!!! The cottage is a simple one bedroom one bathroom that was well furnished and clean. We spent the day fishing and at the beach as well as exploring Hatteras island. The memory foam king mattress was very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied although we only ate breakfast at the cottage. My boys enjoyed the free range chickens that would visit us and my dog enjoyed the walks all over town. We would definitely stay again.

The house was very cozy and had plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out. We felt very relaxed there and really enjoyed our stay. Easy to get places as well and close to restaurants and other activities.

Second year in a row renting the house, which was very clean on arrival. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor shower, pool, hot tub, etc. Beach access is only two houses down and there is a designated walkway for you to cross. Low tide is great for surfing with 2 sand bars. The main road is busy, but doesn't bother you while enjoying the pool or decks. The house has everything you need for cooking, grilling, playing in the pool and going to the beach. There are plenty of beach chairs, beach toys for kids, a cooler, and beach buggy to carry it all to the beach, which is a small upgrade made by the owners. Staying there two years in a row we have noticed the owners care and have done small upgrades, which is appreciated b/c we have rented houses where you can tell upgrades have not been made in years. Kitty Hawk pier is within walking distance. The pictures represent what you will get in the house and are true. Mary and Andy were great with communication and we look to rent the place again.

The cottage was just the right size and loved that it was so close to the beach. It was perfect for the quick getaway that we were doing. The towels and linens were great, but could use some better pillows. Whitney was very responsive and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage was spotless, very clean, beds were comfortable, it was exactly how it is depicted and described. I needed a place to decompress after my dad’s funeral and this was just the place. I traveled with my German Shepherd and we were able to take long walks on the beach right across the street. The host was very responsive to any questions I had and communicated when the place was ready early. Would totally recommend.

Had a great time , steps from beach, the pool was super nice!!! Was offered hotdogs, cheeseburgers, and watermelon for 4th of July at no additional cost for everyone staying in cottages. AC worked great!!! It was record breaking heat and we where more than comfortable!!!

We had a wonderful time staying at Kimberly’s home. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for everyone.

My family and I loved our stay at Beverly’s beach house. The house was beautiful and the location and views of the ocean could not be beat! Beverly was quick to respond and helpful when we had a couple of questions during our stay. Thank you for everything!

The house looked exactly as described & shown in the pictures! It was absolutely beautiful, clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay so much! The host was communicative, nice, & made sure we were settled into the house comfortably. Cannot say enough good things about this Air BnB!!

This place is AMAZING! The home was spacious and perfect for big families. The yard, pool, and hot tub were fantastic, as were all of the very thoughtful amenities like kitchen gadgets, plenty of dinnerware, pots, pans, baking sheets, mixing bowls, coffee & tea supplies, beach bikes & beach supplies, ping pong, and anything else you might need to make a great trip. The great room area is perfect for gathering and the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and very comfy. Close to the beach, and lots to do close-by. The hosts were very responsive and super helpful. We will definitely be back as soon as we can!

Lovely new home that's perfect for a small family...well-stocked and comfortable, particularly the beds. Close to stores and beach access. We'll be back. :-)

This was the perfect first vacation to take with our baby! We had such an amazing time. The house was fully stocked with essentials, everyone had their our own bathroom, the location and short walk to the beach was so nice! It was such an amazing value, just all around, perfect. We had a very memorable vacation and everyone kept talking about how much they want to come back and how great of a pick the house was ! HIGHLY recommend!!! :)

Beautiful little condo for a long weekend - I was in town for business. This condo community is very quiet in the off season - we hardly saw any other people around. Many stores and shops not open, which we fully expected for the time of year. Good communication from host. The view from the deck and living room is amazing! Thanks for having us!

Kate’s place was wonderful. Despite not staying during the best weather conditions, my family had tons of fun and enjoyed the amenities provided. Will definitely book again in the future!

Everything was as expected. The beach access is a short walk across the beach and easy access to restaurants. The place is all that you’d need and was nice.

Our stay at Timothy’s place was excellent. The weather was terrible during our stay due to a tropical storm, but the beautiful house made up for the weather. Timothy has thoroughly thought of every detail in the home. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. It has a great outdoor space. There were plenty of televisions to keep everyone happy given the weather. The hot tub is frequently serviced and clean. It has a very nice outdoor tub as well. The outdoor showers are beautiful and well designed. He has hoses on every level to minimize tracking sand into the house. We felt very relaxed. We would definitely recommend Timothy’s place. Very responsive host. Timothy definitely cares about his property and the comfort of his guests. We would come back and recommend this house.

Great place to stay with the perfect house. Plenty of room for 4 people. Outdoor shower makes things a lot easier after being in the sand all day. The walk to the beach is very private, and a lot closer than it seems. Takes maybe 1 or 2 minutes to walk to the beach. Rental was what I expected & more. Communication on point.

This house is beautiful! We saw a few people turn at the end of the road to check out the house. We went for a relaxing trip and it was just that. The location is right on the beach, next to a wildlife refuge so there is an entire stretch of untouched beach for miles!! The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. And the stars! The sky was worth it alone.

This was our first adventure to North Carolina and an adventure it was. Our first Airbnb didnt work out well with us, so late that first night we booked this home. It had been a long day and we were just ready to lay down. The kids were excited when they seen the house. They picked our their rooms and everyone got a boost of energy knowing we made the right decision moving to this house. Its so nice being by the water. My daughter caught lil shrimp in her net and my son tried out the fishing. The host were very responsive with their messaging. The house was clean and had everything labeled which made it nice. The decks to enjoy your views are so nice. I love seeing all the family pictures amd history they have around the home. You cam definitely tell it is a well loved home thats had some precise family times there. Glad we could add some of our own to this property. We had so many hiccups on this trip but finding this listing wasnt one of them. Thank you for the stay.

While we were on our way to Arlene's house she contacted me to let me know the street and driveway were flooding due to the high waves. She said if it was too hard to get in, her husband would take us to the house in his truck. We were able to make it in but it was a very kind offer and went above and beyond! Arlene's house was comfortable with an amazing view. A lot of the beach had receded away due to storms which made walks on the beach difficult at times but the view from her decks made up for it. The only thing we could have wished for was a bit more yard with less tall prickly vines to walk our pup and to walk thru to the beach due to the driveway and road being flooded. All in all, we had a WONDERFUL time and I would come back again. Thank you Arlene for your very fast responses and offer of your husband's truck to get in! If we come back to the area we will absolutely see if your home is available again.

Heaven sent! My family arrived at another rental we had booked for 2 weeks in Rodanthe only to find it inaccessible due to flooding so we were homeless at 5:30 on a Saturday afternoon. We found Natalie's listing for this property and quickly contacted her to request an on-the spot booking. She responded immediately and graciously accepted. We had no idea what to expect, having had no opportunity to thoroughly research the property in advance of booking. Natalie indeed has a true gem in this listing. Being waterfront on the sound side was a new experience for us, we have been lifelong oceanfront renters. The property, pool and grounds were exceptionally well cared for and the pier and sea wall provided ample fishing opportunities, bringing in several nice Red Drum and Blues among the usual assortment. The house itself provided ample room for our family to spread out and also enjoy being together. Natalie saved the day and we had a fabulous stay - I highly recommend this listing!
