We loved our stay with Lisa. We had very little time to spend in the unit, but the proximity to everything and the calm beautiful surrounding made our time there more restful, efficient and enjoyable. We look forward to our next visit.

Place was as advertised, short walk from the beach, great location (near food/amenities), and dog friendly. Would recommend.

A great place to stay in OBX! Very clean and tidy with lots of amenities to make our stay comfortable and convenient. A short drive or bike ride to the beach and a very short walk to the sound made this house a perfect and quiet place to get away from the big city. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful and even prepared our bikes before our bike ride to ensure the tires had air and the chains were greased and ready! We loved this place and will likely come and stay again!

We enjoyed our time at Patricia’s apartment. It was spacious and comfy and had everything we needed. The bed was very firm and there was plenty of sitting area in the living room. We would definitely come back!

I stayed for11 days at Tatyana's ,and I stayed in both units. They were both excellent. Extra clean and very well appointed. Tatana was an excellent host. The location is great. We will be staying here again. 5 Stars all the way!

Fine spot. Elegant. Fine craftsmanship. Easy access to kiteboarding launch sites. Great views over the sound and perfect comet views as it turned out.

This was a great stay at a great price! It was about half a mile to the beach, which was walkable and was near restaurants.

Toes in the sand lives up to it's name. Incredible views of the ocean everywhere. We felt very much at home.

We loved out stay at Emily's in the Outer Banks. Quiet, peaceful and very clean, our kids loved the arcade machines and we loved the spa and sauna. Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Wonderful rental! We had a great time. The house was perfectly located, clean, and laid out well. Will definitely rent this property again when we’re in the area.

This house was perfect for our family's last minute quick vacation. Brook was super responsive and always thorough. The directions were to the tee and house just like pics, practically new. We knocked down major webs to get through the garage door, but it's to be expected in that area. Frogs come out at night! Specifics: - KITCHEN: Spacious with EVERYTHING we needed!! Electric griddle, spice rack, 2 coffee makers, storage containers, instant pot, baking dishes, cutting boards, pots, glasses, and much more! As people who cooked, we were thrilled. Grill was in pristine condition. Basic starter supplies provided and came in handy. - BATHROOMS: Very clean. Cute miniatures bags and towels were very plush. - BEDROOMS: Bedding and pillows very comfy. - LOCATION: Grocery store, gas stations and OBX waterpark were all less than 10 mins. We used the beach pass at two locations with no problem. Travel depends on traffic and averaged 20mins. Nags head is about 30 mins. We had a great stay :)

The house was clean, comfortable and adorable. It was the perfect size for us (2 adults and 2 teens) and our pooch loved the fenced yard. We did not expect a blizzard on the OBX but the house kept us cozy! It was a 3 minute walk to public beach access, 5 minute walk to Tortugas Lie (perfect beach bar/restaurant) and a short drive to many great sights. We would definitely stay there again!

My niece and her two daughters (9 and 11) and I had a wonderful stay to visit Manteo and see the aquarium and Fort Raleigh and Nags Head area. The house is spotlessly clean and the kitchen very well equipped. The beds are very comfortable There was a minor issue and Nancy dealt with it immediately. she gave us lots of suggestions for places to eat And finally the hot tub was a hit with the girls! Thank you Nancy for making everything run smoothly!

The condo is spacious and pretty; kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, dishes, pots, etc.; bedrooms are roomy with comfortable mattresses; tvs in each bedroom are handy; books for toddlers and board games for adults are thoughtful; easy walk to the beach; safe parking area and easy coded entry; elevator made transporting belongs and groceries less burdensome; use of beach chairs is appreciated; location of condo is ideal.

This little condo was a perfect fit for our quick family vacation. They provided everything we could need including dish soap, trash bags and plenty of towels. They even had a roll away and a pack n play. A lot of places don't often offer those luxuries. The location was central to everything in the outer banks. we've been coming here for years and we had all our spots and restaurants we like to eat at within 10-15 minutes. The beach is a 3 minute walk!! We were there twice a day. There is a new ice cream shop that is just across the parking lot as well so that was perfect for our sugar-loving fam. The second room is very tiny and only suitable for a toddler. The bed in there is a very small foldout futon type but there is a bar down the center that made it uncomfy the first night for our son so he ended up in our bed. However, they had plenty of blankets and towels and I used those to cushion the bed so it worked out great. I'd definitely utilize their rental again in the future.

Perfect location next to the ferry terminal and shops. An easy bike ride to the nature trail and village shops. The condo is perfectly sized for two adults and was clean and quiet. We were there in the winter so didn't use the pool but enjoyed walking the beach (just across the street) and biking around the village. Perfect retreat.

Natalie & Michael’s place was perfect for our stay to visit with local family. They were incredibly responsive, contacting me proactively and getting back to messages right away. They were also very flexible and friendly. Their place was exactly as described and pictured, very comfortable, and well-appointed. I did quite a bit of cooking and found the kitchen to be well equipped with everything I needed. The location was ideal for us given proximity to our daughter’s place, but even apart from that it is generally a very convenient spot, close to groceries, restaurants, the beach, walking trails and parks, and plenty to do. The views, particularly at sunset, from this unit are stunning and I’m sure at a warmer time of year we would have spent a lot of time on the screened porch!

Tara and Janet were so helpful from the beginning and provided the little things to get our vacation started without immediately having to go to the store. The location is exactly as pictured and so close to the public beach parking as well as local restaurants and things to do other than the beach. It was our first vacation in 5 years just the two of us, and The Salty Shrimp gave us everything we needed with the help and hospitality of Tara and Janet. Would definitely return!!

Stay Local was very clean, comfortable, felt at home, kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal. the bedroom was very clean. bed was comfortable. area is private and quiet and a easy drive to everything in downtown Manteo. or over the bridge to the beach. all with an nice view where i had my coffees each morning. My husband and I had a very nice 35th Anniversary at Stay Local thank you very much

Good location, convenient to everything, pet friendly, very clean condo and nice accommodations. Owner/host was very communicative. It does need a couple more bedrooms pillows/pillowcases and the battery in the smoke detector replaced. Unit is a side condo with limited view of the ocean but nice nonetheless. 👌. Overall good stay. 👏
