We were so happy to return for our 2nd visit to the Little Cottage. It felt like visiting an old friend. Mary’s place has everything we need for prepping easy meals, relaxing on the porch, restful nights, and is a wonderful home base for excursions across the road to the beach and all over the Outer Banks. We’ll be back!

A lovely studio apartment right on the sound on the West side of the island. There's a private patio with a table and chairs, and French doors that let in the view of the ocean. There's even a window in the bathroom, so you can see the ocean from the shower. The bed is comfortable if you like a softer mattress. The sheets felt super luxurious. It's a small cottage but perfect for two people with a sitting area and a small dining area. The kitchen only has a small fridge and microwave, but there is a grill outside that you can use. We appreciated the shared patio downstairs with a hammock looking over the water and an outdoor shower. We had fun borrowing the tandem kayak and exploring the sound. The cottage is right next to a bigger house and another cottage, but we didn't hear the other people, and our balcony and cottage felt private. Central air kept us cool and warm as needed. Truly a blissful spot from which to explore the Outer Banks. We would love to stay again!

My wife and I have stayed at H2OMG - WIE Houses - Pod Zeus twice now. Our favorite part is being able to witness the sunset on the sound from the comfort of the bed! Just absolutely stunning. Jim & Gia are phenomenal hosts. They have thought of everything one might need or want to know while staying. They communicate promptly and were willing to accommodate us at every request. This most recent trip, my wife and I wanted our fur baby "Buddy" to come along. Jim & Gia had no problem allowing us to do so. Also, since it was a Valentine's Day get away. I asked for a dozen roses to be arranged in the room prior to our arrival. Gia, was prompt, gave me multiple options. And made it happen with no problem. The look on my wife's face when we walked in was priceless. There was another group of people staying in the big house this time and we barely noticed. So, if privacy is something you are after, this place is perfect. Regardless if you are alone or sharing the property. Thanks Jim & Gia!

Our family recently had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Duck. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the unique and stunning artwork that adorns every room. It truly felt like stepping into a gallery, adding a special touch to our vacation experience! The house was incredibly well-equipped and immaculate. The pristine pool and hot tub were so inviting that we spent most of our days there, visiting the beach only twice. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach and close to many fantastic restaurants and grocery stores. Our hosts were kind, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions, making us feel truly welcome. I wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone considering a visit to Duck, North Carolina. It’s perfect for a relaxing and memorable family vacation. We can’t wait to return!

We had a great stay. Cute cottage for two. Can't beat the location, especially if you surf. You're steps away from the Nags Head fishing pier.

The cabana was very clean. We have stayed at several and this one was our favorite by far. The bed was comfortable, the view from the upper deck was great, and we were able to check into our rental hassle free. Vacasa was very accommodating. We hope to rent this cabana again! Awesome experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Location was convenient and great for bike rides. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Beehive. The hosts were responsive and very helpful- helped us with a flat tire . Delighted we planned this last minute getaway and would love to return !

Sharon’s Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! From arriving at this pristine landscaped property , to entering the fresh smelling lovely decorated clean room, we felt relaxed right away . Every detail was clearly described and exactly communicated. Sharon’s price was very fair . We had complete privacy all the time. A grocery store is right across the street. We cooked a couple meals right in the Airbnb ourselves. We will definitely be renting this lovely place again .I only texted Sharon with a compliment and she responded very quickly, which was nice. Highly recommended!!

My husband and I cannot say enough about our stay at the Beach Palette!! Their attention to detail and ways they added little things to make our stay comfortable and seamless was truly appreciated. The decor and amenities were very charming and carefully chosen. This property was truly a hidden gem close to a bunch of great restaurants, beach accesses and golf! They also helped us by providing restaurant recommendations which we found a new fav spot! We have already decided we would like to come back next year! Thank you again, Carolina and Brian for a wonderful getaway! :)

The place was very nice but it was right on major road. During night could hear traffic. The parking was a little tight. We were there off season so we were able to maneuver the parking space with little inconvenience. The location was very accessible to local businesses. We could ride bikes or walk with ease.

Krisztina antwortet schnell, gibt noch Tipps für die Umgebung und ist super freundlich. Wir können es nur jeden empfehlen, ein paar Tage in der Unterkunft zu sein.

This was a first time trip to the Outer Banks for a long weekend. I was looking for a unique home that was small and cozy, the Round House checked all the boxes. We were able to check in with no issues. The beds were comfortable. The house was warm. I especially loved the corner table. This house was all we needed for two people. We would definitely come back again, maybe when a little warmer.

The Blue Umbrella is the perfect beach getaway with beachfront access, clean and nicely appointed cottage, invigorating outdoor shower, proximity to all the Nags Head amenities, and Steve and Diane are gracious and welcoming hosts. Definitely worth a second visit!

Absolutely beautiful home, pictures were just as shown, she had everything for us even some things we forgot, all the amenities you need, they have. The home definitely felt like a safe space, 10/10 would recommend their air bnb when traveling to obx, North carolina !!

I cannot thank enough to Kath and her husband Tom. The place was great, clean, cozy and quiet. My husband always complains about the places I pick, but this time he only said great things, like he slept great, the place was so quiet that he finally was able to sleep. Easy to commuted to places, downtown Manteo is beautiful, felt like a European little town. Kathryn places was closed to the Roanoke Island where the first colony and the very first English children spoken site. Listen Kathryn and Tom was the best hostess I ever had in a long time, very dedicated and friendly, they make me feel very comfortable especially when I arrival with two big dogs. They were the first hostess that accept my dogs with no problem. I definitely will come back. I definitely recommend Kathryn and Tom. Please they are great people and their place are the best. Kathryn thank you so much for making our summer vacation great, and thanks for my pups toys. We shall see each other again. We'd a great time

We had a great time at Pirate’s Retreat! Craig was super responsive and extremely helpful. Both him and his wife were so kind and even let us borrow some items that we forgot at home! Hopefully we will have time to come back and stay here again this summer.

Great place for 2 adults and a big dog. Easy to access (if you can walk up stairs) and very clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at Amanda’s place! The studio was perfect for myself, my fiancé and our two pups. Super close to the beach with easy access when there. The place is fairly in the middle of KDH so easy to get to the other parts of OBX by car. Would recommend!

This was the perfect spot for a weekend for two at the Outer Banks. Ashley was kind enough to let us check in early! We were just a short walk from the beach and there was a lifeguard stand nearby. It was a quiet neighborhood with a very helpful and responsive host. Brand new everything…great bathroom and shower, comfortable king-sized bed, cute kitchen, perfect for heating up food, small table and chairs for two with a vase of fresh flowers, comfortable sofa in the living room with very large TV. High ceilings made the space feel even roomier. We would happily return!

we had a lovely stay, was the perfect place to stay with our 2 toddlers.. The kids loved the play area and beach jz down the road at the sound beach, and the sunsets were gorgeous!

This was my fourth time staying here. It is perfect! The hosts are very kind, responsive and knowledgeable. I love this little house!
