This has by far been our best home stay all over the world. The hospitality was impeccable. My recommendation is to ditch any outside food and just eat all your meals here. They have a vast menu and a chef who did full justice to it. The home has everything you need to be tucked way in the hills: I can name a few things that made our stay exemplary. A pool table, FANTASTIC food served from breakfast to snacks to dinner (even a meal like rajma chawal tasted out of the world!; full compliments to the chef); very detail oriented, warm staff who was always available to us; mattress warmers; bonfire, breakfast on the deck..and the lsit continues. The hostess even went out of the way to arrange almond milk from Chandigarh for me since I am lactose intolerant. Blair and the host family did thier very best to ensure this experience was very special for all of us. LOVED IT

A Perfect Retreat in the Hills! My stay at Meenakshi's place, Saraiya House, was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warm hospitality and a beautifully maintained space. The room was cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with large windows offering stunning views of the surrounding nature. The wooden interiors and soft lighting created a serene and peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind. Meenakshi & Mohak are a wonderful host, always available and attentive to our needs. They made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The small touches, like the well-decorated bedding and seating area under stairs, added to the charm of the place. The location itself is tranquil yet accessible, ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and scenic landscapes was truly refreshing. would definitely come again soon ! give it a try if you're looking for peace ✌

Had an amazing experience at the property. Beautiful terrace next to the rooms providing a very good view of the forest. The place is very close to main Shimla however still offers peace and quiet as well. Well kept residence and assistance available at all times. Asheesh personally took care of our itinerary and recommended places as well. Would love to visit again during snow fall time as well. No difficulties in parking as well which is a great to have in Shimla. Overall pretty happy with the experience.

5star rating gives no justice....I would have rated this as 10star or maybe more. Place is Calm, Quite, Serene and away from maddening hustle and bustle of a town. Ajay is a Super Host and so is NIsha ji as well. Food was a like a Cherry on the Cake. So delicious and organic too. Will surely recommend this place to anyone who loves to spend time in quite and serene nature. Experience the long village walks....go on a trek.....chat with welcoming local villagers....bird watching and the list goes on and on... Waiting for my next visit.

Excellent place. The path to the villa was a rough 200m detour road but it was totally worth it. The villa is situated in a scenic sorroundings with serene mountains. The rooms were nice and clean and the patio had an amazing view of the sunset. A huge shout-out to all the staff- everyone was nice, responsive and super helpful, especially Pappan! The dine-in food was delicious as well. Would highly recommend chilli paneer :)

Me and my cousins spend the NYE at this beautiful villa. It was so beautifully made. We loved the simple yet modular kitchen, how the whole space has been designed. It was so aesthetic. The garden, living space,kitchen and rooms - all looked like a Pinterest board and we loved it. And what truly stands out is their hospitality - the caretaker of the property is Raghuveer Ji and he is soo soo humble and sweet. He made our stay so comfortable. He cooks really well and will go out of his way to assist you with anything and everything. Big shout out to him and the owners for really investing in the place with great interiors. The floor planning of the bnb is also very nicely done with great space planning.
