Excellent hosts, great location . Lovely apartment.

A very enjoyable and therapeutic stay at Lauren's. I felt very safe in the flat. Everything was comfortable, cosy and homely. I wish I could have stayed longer. In terms of amenities, the big Sainsbury's by the roundabout was great and I had a couple of 'Sunday' lunches at Bolam's plus a coffee in shop near the post office/general store. Mainly, I was using the X12 bus (just across the road) to get to and from work but the location is very convenient for the road network, linking across the region.

It’s a big place and it match with the pictures, the place wasn’t very clean but still a good place to stay.

Darren & Suzanne’s property is absolutely stunning, decorated to the highest quality down to the smallest of details. Everything was perfect, it was homely and felt luxurious and we were very sad to leave I’ve come home with many ideas how to redecorate my own house much to my partners dismay 😂 I found the hosts to be quick to respond and helpful throughout! Highly recommend the property it’s simply beautiful

We had a wonderful stay at Clearwater cottage. It’s a beautiful place to sit and watch the river from the window, so peaceful. The property is well furnished and has everything we needed and more. The host was there at all times to recommend local restaurants and anything else we needed. We look forward to visiting again

We had a lovely time. Lee is super responsive & really helpful. The house has absolutely everything you could possibly need. The hot tub & pool was fantastic & we absolutely loved it! Great base to explore the north east. Thanks for having us!

This was a lovely place to stay. Exactly what we needed for a stop off before attending the great north run. Only disappointed factor was a couple of hairs on the bed sheets and also a left over sponge in the bathroom with hairs on it. I’d definitely return In the future, thank you.

Having stayed in a few air bnbs in Darlington recently. This was one of the nicer properties, it was nice to have parking without restrictions and the accommodation was as described.

Lovely stay in a comfortable house which was set in a beautiful location. Les made us feel very welcome and had left thoughtful and generous touches for Christmas including putting up a tree and decorations, and gifting us cava, cake, chocolates, nuts and fruit. Any questions were answered promptly and helpfully.

Location was fantastic. 10 minutes away from visiting family.

Absolutely beautiful little studio . Gorgeous little garden and so peaceful and quite . Everything so clean and tidy . Lots of little recommendations to go and visit and eat . Ruth was very helpful and communicative,. Highly recommended little hideaway.

We gave 5 stars to Steph based on her hospitality , friendliness and all the information she gave us regarding the local area & points of interest on the continuence of our trip … the room & bath were cozy & clean…. The breakfast setting was lovely & the offering excellent…. We late arriving but we still used her kitchen and she made us tea …we would stay again and recommend her highly … h & a

Wonderful attentive host, easy instructions for check-in, made sure all was well. Property was well cleaned and had basic cooking and serving items for food. Quiet area with parking pace available. Overall an enjoyable stay. Would use again.
