had a beautiful weekend at this private cottage! could really see the thought that went into this listing- the hot tub being heated ready, robes being available for guests after the hottub, dog treats/bowls being left. The cottage was decorated lovely, the photos don't do this place justice. Tom was very responsive the whole time and was very accommodating allowing us to check out slightly later due to us getting picked up at 12 and the cottage not being booked that evening. will definitely stay again, hopefully in the summer when we can make better use of the beautifully finished outdoor area.

A lovely stay with friends. Richmond centre is within walking distance from Hannah's with beautiful buildings to walk past on the way. Hot tub was fab and a wonderful way to enjoy catching up with each other. Hannah's home had everything we needed and we would definitely stay again. Thank you

Ivy Cottage is a gem 💎. Jane is a great host, great communication and flexibility. The cottage is spacious with a homely feel. We loved all the fairy lights outside, it looked very magical. Great place to have a family get together. The hot tub and games room are fantastic. We loved the small touches around the house, including the towels, bathrobes and crocs for the hot tub. The welcome package also a lovely touch, included eggs from Jane's hens, which made tasty scrambled eggs. The location is a great base and lots of places nearby. The cottage is also great if you just want to stay put and chill, you have everything you need.

We had such a lovely stay at The Nest - the place is super cosy and perfect for a relaxing get away. Everything was super easy, from communication to check in/out and finding the place. Great location and beautiful setting. Hot tub was fab! We had dinner at The Wellington Heifer one night which is a 10 minute walk away and would recommend.

Four of us have just spent 3 nights in Peewit Cottage. From the moment we arrived, we all felt right at home, the place was spotless, beds very comfortable too! Everything you could possibly need for a self catering stay was provided. Having the private hot tub was fabulous, we loved it after full days of being tourists in the local area. On a separate note, we would highly recommend a visit to Beamish Museum which was about a 30 min drive, we also spent a day in Durham City & booked a 2.5 hr History/City Tour with walkaboutdurham - highly recommended. Tour Guide Peter is very knowledgeable & so passionate about his job plus he gives everyone a "free" cocktail voucher for Turtle Bay - well deserved after 2.5hrs walking around the City 🤣🤣

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage im „Farm Cottage“! Der Hof ist ruhig und wunderschön und unsere kleine Tochter war begeistert von den vielen Tieren. Das Pool Haus mit Trainings- und Hobbyraum ist ein tolles Extra, genauso die frischen Eier von den eigenen Hühnern, Holz für den Ofen und der Service, das Waschhaus inkl. Waschmaschine und Trockner zu nutzen. Die Kommunikation mit Chris und seiner Frau war perfekt. Wir waren sehr traurig, dass wir nur ein paar Tage da waren. Ein kleiner Hinweis für große Menschen: Die Dusche ist sehr, sehr niedrig ;) Also entweder baden, im sitzen duschen oder am besten einfach die Dusche im Pool Haus nutzen!

The cottage has a really homely feel to it and we loved the open plan nature of the living space, as it allowed us all to be together whilst we relaxed and prepared meals. The cottage has everything you need and we particularly enjoyed using the Rayburn range cooker (what a treat) and the comfy sofas. The linen was pristine and clean and everywhere was spotless. The cottage is warm and welcoming and the surroundings are peaceful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely welcome from Judith. A beautifully furnished cottage warm and cosy a pleasure to stay. We loved the cake, fresh farm eggs and Archie and Ralphie appreciated the doggie treats we will be back. thank you.

Lovely cottage. As described. Fire was lit when we arrived which was a very nice touch. Carey was very responsive and showed us around the property. She left food for breakfast. Would stay again!

Puzzle Cottage is an absolute gem. Cosy, quirky and perfect for a stay in the stunning Yorkshire Dales. Loads of local information left by Richard and the cottage was well equipped with a lovely welcome basket of goodies. We will definitely come again and would thoroughly recommend Puzzle Cottage.

Great stay. Lovely peaceful surroundings and nearby villages with lits of places to eat and drink without having to travel too far. The fire was set for us to light when we arrived making it snug and cosy within the hour to enjoy our wine and begin our break. we will be back again!!!

We had a wonderful few days at The Nest. The cottage is just beautiful, super comfortable, cosy and perfectly situated for exploring North Yorkshire. Castleton is a lovely, friendly village and we were made very welcome. Thank you for having us Annette, we loved our stay x

had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. Lynne and Steve are amazing hosts and respond very quickly to messages. we had a slight issue with the heating and I messaged and within 5 minutes Steve was knocking on th3 door to help us. would highly recommend and would definitely stay again

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. The area is beautiful. We took 2 dogs and had an amazing time walking the old railway walk, which Jess kindly recommended to us and gave directions for. Please be mindful that if you're taking your dog, they need to be on a lead pretty much everywhere in this area as there are loose sheep everywhere.

Abbey Hill Cottages to high above W. Hartlepool. They are well equipped.Beds are comfortable and so is sitting room furniture. Plenty of hot water. Good shower.Lots of space. I would stay again.

Perfect stay for our visits to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and York. Peaceful, countryside location. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Although we had long days out, it was a pleasure to come back to after a busy day😀

My husband & I spent a few days at Wren's Nest along with our dog. We were very appreciative of the the welcome basket on arrival for us and our dog! My husband was also delighted to see that the hosts had put up a Happy Birthday banner and also left a beautiful sweet treat for us each to celebrate his birthday, this was above and beyond but a lovely kind gesture. The property itself was lovely and comfortable, the quality of fixtures and fittings were of high standard and made the property feel lovely & cosy. The patio area at the back of property was lovely first thing with the sun beaming down and in an evening it was lovely to light the log burner. Wren's Nest is in an excellent location for local shops, bars and restaurants and a short walk takes you to a woodland area where we walked out dog. We visited Whitby, Saltburn and Goathland ( TVs Heartbeat territory) all within a short drive from property.

The directions Rachel gave us were very precise and we arrived without any problem. The cottage is very warm, cosy and super clean with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We had no problems but as Rachel is close by I am sure they would be sorted quickly. Lanchester is a short drive away and has a good selection of shops and places to eat.

A absolute gem 💎 had a beautiful stay, love clean modern place fantastically peaceful with beautiful views the sky at night were amazing. I was amazed how peaceful the cottage is for being near the A66 so had no trouble exploring the local surroundings I know we will be back in the future

Absolutely amazing cottage! Lovely location, out of the way and peaceful but within a 15min drive to Thirsk so close to amenities. The place had everything we needed for a nice weekend away.

Ideally located close to the town square with free parking nearby. This was our first visit to Richmond and we loved it, so peaceful and straight out of a picture book. The cottage was immaculate with a comfy bed and great powerful shower. May not be suitable for those with extra access requirements as it is a hilly area, but to be honest that goes for the whole town! For us, it was the perfect spot for a quiet couple of days away. Special mention to the DVD collection, what a fun touch! Thanks go to Fiona for having us.

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed in very many years. Carol was a delight and the cottage had everything one could want. I was impressed by the number of books available, it was a joy.
