Our family (1 senior, 2 adults and 2 children) had a lovely 2 night stay at Hockey House. This home suited our needs nicely. Being a well loved and well lived in home made it easy and comfortable to settled in with kids, and the backyard and cul-de-sac were perfect to let them get out and burn off some energy. Thank you, Flavia!!

This was our third time staying at this awesome place. The place is always clean and well stocked with the things we need. The updating and improvements to the kitchen and the bathroom were well done and a nice surprise!

A great place with plenty of space, character and charm. All the amenities were at hand and everything was well thought out. Definitely a super location for larger groups.

Lots of extra touches. Wonderful welcome basket that even included dog toys and treats (including wine for the 2-legged guests). Loved having the washer/dryer to use (when you are travelling this is really nice). Overall very positive experience.

Kelly and Doris are incredibly friendly and quick to respond. Our stay was a last minute booking. Both kelly and Doris helped us feel right at home. The property is an Oasis. It has everything your family will need. The pictures do not do it justice. The quiet peacefulness you feel well sitting by the lake is everything you want and need. We will be coming back!

A great base for our weekend visiting friends and family in Bedford, Halifax, and Dartmouth. Very spacious accommodation with a full kitchen and a great deck. Loved all the fall colours and the quiet surroundings. Easy access to the airport for our very early flight. Everything was super clean and hosts were very responsive when we had questions. Would definitely recommend. We didn't bring any dogs on this trip but I love that the house was dog friendly.

We had a great stay at Harrison’s place. It was a peaceful and quiet location and the house is very comfortable. It is close to cycling and walking trails, and it is an easy walk to the beach. And sunsets from “pride rock” on the hill across the street were amazing. The kitchen is well equipped, the house was clean and the outdoor shower was excellent for a rinse after a beach day or surf! Thank you!

My sister and I treated each other to a holiday sleepover in the woods and it was perfect. The sauna was the best part, but everything was lovely. Will absolutely come back.

great host. the place was amazing. I did mess up by not reading close enough and book a place where it had people living upstairs, but it was my laziness and honestly the family were silent through the night. if you're staying somewhere for a week or more this place has everything you need. highly recommend

Shelley and Julian are fantastic hosts. They really helped make our stay enjoyable. They are very responsive and friendly. The place was in a great spot and we were able to walk to all our destinations.

We had a lovely stay at this perfectly located, charming, and very comfortable house. Candace is a great host and made sure we had everything we needed!

Pre check in I needed to be flexible with my arrival time due to getting out prior to a hurricane. I was given fast responses to any messages. I needed a space to work from and the internet was more than adequite enough to work, watch a video and play on the phone as needed. There was a power outage one day and Alex had people out to the house almost instantly to make repairs. He had NS Power engaged within the hour. I have never had someone so easily reached when problems arose. The unit was warm when it needed to be. It was well equipped with everything needed in the kitchen area. The laundry area was in the kitchen and the machines were modern adn worked well. The bedroom was large and cozy all at the same time. The unit was peaceful as was the area the unit was located in. I would definetly stay again.

Kathy was a great host. Had all that we required. Was quick to respond if needed anything. Very considerate host. Air b n b should be grateful to have kathy representing your company many thanks to our host Kathy. We will certainly recommend this host and her unit to any person and we will be booking Kathy’s unit again when we visit this beautiful area. Again thanks Kathy

Such a beautiful place and our hosts went over and above, loved the tranquility, view, gardens, ducks, and even deer. Can’t say enough about the wonderful food that was prepared and delivered to our door. We were spoiled, and enjoyed meeting and watching a sunset with Kim, Craig and family. We had a lovely weekend at Doris’s place, the house was beautiful, clean and truly the perfect spot for a larger group to spend time comfortably together. Doris was a great host and was always quick to respond to any questions I had while we were there.

Very beautiful location and the view was fantastic. The parking situation isn’t great, but once we got it figured out and walked in it didn’t take away from the 5 star rating. Parking probably wouldn’t be bad in the summer, but if we didn’t have a big truck it would be challenging with the snow clearing operations as you have to park on the shoulder of a busy road. Everything was clean and exactly as described. I will note that if you’re over 6ft tall, watch your head downstairs, or if you have any mobility issues this probably isn’t the spot for you with the stairs. These are not complaints, just observations. My wife and I had an amazing time, and was a nice get away for a couple days. Highly recommend and will be back in the summer. Host was fantastic.

This was our second extended stay at Francois's, and just like the first, his hospitality, the location, and the lovely property exceeded our expectations and made us feel right at home. Francois was a wonderful host, quick to communicate and extremely helpful. The home was spotless and well appointed and modern. The property is Serene and peaceful for anyone looking to get away from the city while avoiding a lengthy trip. Would highly recommend and hope to come back one day!

Staying at the Green Suite was an amazing experience, everything from a helpful and responsive host to a beautiful clean space to stay in made it a great getaway experience. The hot tub was very relaxing and the bed was comfortable, along with the living room. The host was very helpful and guided us through our stay showing us where everything was and how everything worked, not to mention very friendly just like his cute dog Milo. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone and everyone looking for somewhere to stay in Nova Scotia, thank you Gavin and Cartney for being great hosts. 10/10 would do again!

Great spot to visit for a weekend getaway! Even though the cabin is attached to their house, the hosts made us feel secluded and welcome.

Gorgeous, quiet place to stay only 35 minutes away from the city. Highly recommend.

Marilyns Guesthouse was absolutely wonderful!! So cozy, clean and comfortable. Beautiful games room below. Private and well maintained hot tub. Close enough to the city lights and bustle but far enough to be surrounded by a peaceful and quiet environment. I must also mention that the lower level of Marilyns home serves as another spot to stay when the guesthouse is booked. Stayed there a month ago or so and its actually a full apartment so bigger than the guesthouse. Its very clean, comfortable and modern, right down to the heated toilet seat. It also has a private and we'll maintained hot tub. I would highly recommend either spot and have already booked my next trip here!!
