Very comfortable stay, close to everything & a beautiful walk to all amenities & shops. Most enjoyable & relaxing weekend

Ruth’s property at Woodend North was a beautiful place to stay and would recommend to others. The property is situated away from noise, apart from nature with the birds and very occasional cow mooing. A lovely place to relax. My small dog was with us and the place was safe and enclosed for her to run around she enjoyed it. Breakfast the next day provided by Ruth was healthy and delicious with some homemade products. If only we were there more than one night. The town of Woodend North is picturesque, with great places to eat a less than 10min drive away. We would stay again if the opportunity arose. Make sure to follow Ruth’s directions, as maps Apps can take you along a dirt road that could get boggy if there’s of rain. Lucky for us it was Summer and sunny.

A lovely relaxing weekend by the fire. Warm and cosy as we were lucky enough to get a little snow! Just what we needed.

A lovely house in beautiful peaceful location. Very comfortable, with everything we needed and lots of helpful labels to help find everything. Really well equipped kitchen, and our host was super friendly and helpful. We didn't get to stay long enough to fully enjoy all it had to offer, but we hope to come back another time. Thank you.

Such beautiful accomodation and attention to detail throughout the house was amazing. It looks exactly as viewed in the photos, and it was so neat and clean. Such a beautiful and peaceful setting and will definitely be back.

Great place to stay with a small family. Able to visit friends and family near by. Peaceful and private. Castillo was welcoming, had difficulties with the lock but able to open it for us as the place is behind the main house. Had to checkout early but Castillo was able to accommodate. Extremely recommend to anyone wanting to rent for future travels.

Our stay at Marks place was excellent, from easy check, home exactly as described lovely little private court yard, house was very neat and clean .Mark and Di were very friendly and helpful..we really appreciate our time spent at Marks place.. we will return.

We enjoyed our stay, the cottage had everything we needed, even use of a bbq. It is situated in a lovely quiet, peaceful area with lots of bird life. Communication excellent. Would certainly stay again.

Location, Location !! Very cliche but very apt for this villa. Situated opposite Daylesford lake and within easy walking distance of the main street with all the eclectic shops and cafes. As soon as we drove in the driveway we knew we would love staying here and we were not disappointed. After climbing the wide steps to the spacious balcony we ventured inside and were greeted with a very beautiful and peaceful space including a gorgeous kitchen and lounge area accentuated by the very high ceilings with wonderful exposed beams. A double door led through to a huge bedroom complemented by an equally huge ensuite all with the high ceilings throughout. Honestly, we have never seen a place that looked ten times better than the photos. Do your self a favour and stay here, you will love it !!

Had a great stay at Jenny’s place over a weekend for a family wedding. Jenny is a great host, very responsive and friendly. The place was nicely decorated and we had everything we needed for a weekend away.

I really enjoyed staying in this beautiful space. It is really well appointed with an unbeatable view of a gorgeous garden and all comforts and amenities. It is a short walk to the main street and food and shops. The lake is also nearby. I was staying on my own so I found this to be more than spacious enough for me. The heating and cooling worked really well. The space is light and open. This is one of two villa units on the site. It is essentially like half a house with a courtyard in the middle that has a privacy screen. I found it perfectly private and quiet ( no one was staying in the other villa while I was there though). Overall, I'd highly recommended this.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mystic Views. Claire was so hospitable and the BnB was set up and decorated beautifully. We had breakfast in the garden each day with wildlife and farm animals in nearby paddocks. Beautiful breakfast foods including fresh eggs, cereal and toast in the kitchen. Gorgeous place to stay with comfortable beds also

Leanne's unit is absolutely fantastic, wished we could have extended our stay. One of best we have stayed in. Everything was perfect and Leanne friendly and responsive. A very high recommendation from us.

We enjoyed a lovely stay amongst the bush & birds in a beautiful setting. Close to town to explore Castlemaine. Everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away!

The accommodation more than met our expectations. We had a well-stocked kitchen, a lounge room and small study as well as 2 bedrooms. The surrounding landscape was really beautiful, and with chooks, veggie beds and orchards to look at. It was an easy walk to town, although uphill on the way back. We were also invited to the community’s regular Friday evening drinks, which was very special.

Lynne is an amazing host and she even filled the fridge for us. She is so kind and prepared for the smallest thing you might need during your stay. I definitely recommend her place if you wanna get away from all your stress and have a relaxing weekend and enjoy the company of funny animals.

All up, a great place to stay if you want peace and quiet. A bit pricey but it was what we wanted. Parking was a challenge for our large vehicle. Everything else met expectations. Would consider staying again.
