Great location; great host. Being in Noord Amsterdam worked really well for us because central Amsterdam is super busy! An enjoyable walk west takes you to Noord Metro which is a mere 1 stop to Centraal Station and 2 stops from easier to get around Rokin. And going East you have the wonderful Landmarkt supermarket and brilliant cycle routes into the countryside. Duco was attentive and super helpful and he and his family have a wonderful home. Couldn’t fault it - 5 stars!!!!!

My husband and I had never been to Amsterdam before - so, we were unsure of what to expect. The apartment was close to the city center, yet far enough away that you can escape the hustle and bustle. Vincent was a true representation of the Dutch culture - open, welcoming and hospitable. The property was a true representation of their unique architecture and spacious. We will be back when we return to Amsterdam!

Heerlijke locatie om te verblijven. Goed bed, fijne badkamer en gezellige woonkamer/keuken. Prima om meerdere dagen te zijn. Ik heb er ook lekker nog een dag kunnen werken; wifi is prima! Lekker rustig maar toch ook centraal bij alle voorzieningen. Ik kom graag terug.

Wijnand’s home was so lovely! We needed a place for the two of us while we were exploring Amsterdam and this was perfect. A nice traditional Amsterdam home on a canal. It was so warm and welcoming inside with a cozy aesthetic. We had everything we needed. Wijnand was very communicative and we had all the info we needed for check in, check out, and local recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Sebastiaan was so warm and welcoming! He was always ready and available to help. He had fresh flowers in the apartment, as well as champagne! When my husband fell ill at the beginning of our trip, Sebastian was kind enough to invite me to go to the Saturday Market with him, which I really enjoyed. It was a nice respite from my nursing duties. As a host, he exceeded all my expectations! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his AirBnb.

Hans is a fantastic host, gave us lots of information regarding good local restaurants. The apartment is in a great location and is spotlessly clean, it has everything you need. I would definitely recommend this apartment and I hope to be back for another visit next year Haarlem is a lovely friendly city. Thanks for a great stay Hans

We had a great time in Amsterdam. Louis was friendly, reliable, on time and made us feel welcome. The living room is comfortable, great sofa and nice dining table. The location is also in a great neighborhood

Froukje is a wonderful host who was very responsive, kind and accommodating. The house is not far away from to beach and pretty close to Amsterdam. We had a wonderful time here.

We stayed at Brenda and Rutgers house for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. It was even more beautiful than the pictures, exceptionally clean and so relaxing. The attention to detail was incredible, it felt like a spa resort! Very comfortable beds, amazing showers, stunning decor and had everything we could possibly need. The seperate den room was a favourite for our 2 kids with it's giant tv where we snuggled up for a movie night to relax after a hectic few weeks travelling before flying home. The big jacuzzi was a hit with all of us too! We wished we could have stayed longer to make use of the bbq, firepit and sauna. We were using public transport and it was a short enjoyable walk to the nearest bus stop which took us into Haarlem in minutes. Brenda was so responsive before and during our stay and so nice to deal with. I can't accurately describe how stunning and relaxing this house is. If it's available for your dates, book it, you won't regret it! Thank you Brenda!!

Anneke's place is very cozy and big enough for a family. She is very welcoming and always there when you need her. The area is beautiful and peaceful. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Ein Geheimtipp für einen Wochenende in Haarlem! Tim ist so nett, er antwortet schnell und gibt wertvolle Tipps für einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist zentral und dennoch ruhig gelegen, stilvoll und sauber. Das Bett war sehr bequem. 10 /10 ! Wir haben uns für Parken im Parkhaus de Dreef entschieden, eines der günstigeren und ca. 15 min zu Fuß zur Wohnung gelegen.

Gemütliches Haus in der Natur und dennoch nicht weit von den Ortschaften und Großstätten entfernt. Bahnverbindungen gibt es von Woerden (nur 15 Autominuten entfernt) überall hin. Wir sind von dort zB direkt nach Amsterdam gefahren. Die Einrichtung ist so wie auf den Bildern gezeigt, alles in top Zustand und super schön möbliert. Auch die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet inklusive der Geräte. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die herzlichen Gastgeber. Sie waren bei Fragen zum Haus, der Umgebung oder sonstigem immer super nett und hilfsbereit. Kontakt mit Ellen war unkompliziert und Gilberts tägliches Feuer - sehr schön und gemütlich. Sollte Niederlande nochmals unser Reiseziel werden, würden sehr gerne wieder eine Unterkunft bei Ellen & Gilbert buchen.

El apartamento es muy acogedor, bonita decoración, con todo lo necesario para estar a gusto. Daba gusto llegar a casa tras las largas caminatas diarias. Las camas muy cómodas. La zona muy mágica y tranquila, sobretodo al amanecer, sin el bullicio típico del pleno centro. Muy fácil de llegar desde la estación. Mati estuvo pendiente desde nuestra llegada hasta la salida. Recomendamos este apartamento vivamente.

Fantastic stay at Moon's place. It really makes a difference when you stay at someone's place where they have/currently live as the place is extremely well equipped and decorated. The neighbourhood has a lot of great options and the recommendations they provided were lovely. I would definitely stay again!

I loved this place so much I’ve called it home, spent a week (almost) and got so used to it. Helena was awesome, and was pleasant. I’m coming “home” again soon.

Nick es una persona amable y muy amigable. El departamento muy cómodo, muy buena ubicación a pasos del tren donde te puedes mover para todos lados, lindo entorno, muy tranquilo y seguro, hay un supermercado y lugares para comer, si quieres salir más lejos está el tren, recomendable al 100%

We loved our stay here! The unit is so lovely- all of the details are beautiful and thoughtful, and make it feel so cozy and pretty to be in. The location is wonderful - so much to do right around the corners, right on a cabal, and also within a 30 minute walk to so many great places in the city. Jan-Bas had wonderful recommendations for restaurants in the area and was extremely kind. We felt like we couldn’t have picked a better spot. Would love to stay again!

Thomas takes pride in his home and serving as a host. His friendliness, assistance, and prompt responses make a foreigner feel at ease. There are two cafes nearby which were comfortable and welcoming on the afternoons or days I did not want to cook or venture far. The location is near multiple tram lines bringing the visitor to tourist sites and other neighborhoods. Easy to get to Station Centraal if taking day trips outside Amsterdam. Call an Uber when returning to airport for most economical and timely return. If you have light luggage try the public transportation with a transfer on way over. Bonus - women’s only gym called FemmeGym only 4 minute walk away. Very reasonable pricing! This home is absolutely charming. It had everything I needed. Thomas is an outstanding host.

We had a great stay at Anna’s place. It was so nice to be away from the touristy areas and in a quiet, comfortable, well equipped apartment. With transit you can be in the city center quickly but it is also very walkable. Anna was always super responsive and provided lots of great recommendations for restaurants and places to go in the area. Highly recommend staying here!

The apartment is lovely, comfortable, stylish, and very central in Haarlem. We stayed for 1 week while working remotely, so it was great having a functional kitchen and laundry (including detergent, salt, oil, coffee, tea etc), as well as enough space in the living area to enjoy spending a reasonable amount of time in the apartment. Simon is very helpful and responsive, which was great! It’s also very easy to reach from the bus or train, and supermarkets, cafes, the park, and the markets are just a few minutes away. Everything was very easy. The only downsides were that the street can be quite noisy - luckily the bedroom is still very quiet - and the bedroom / bathroom are very small. This didn’t bother us but would be something to keep in mind. Nicer sheets for the bed would also be appreciated. Overall I loved staying here and would recommend it!

Daan and Iris were excellent hosts and very accommodating and flexible with our requests. They even left us a welcoming bottle of red wine, which was a very nice surprise. The apartment is very well designed and decorated…a little oasis. Loved the little various souvenirs they have on display from their travels, showing their appreciation of the different cultures of the world. Oh, and the king size bed was SO comfortable, it was hard to get out of bed in the mornings. Would definitely stay here again!

I had an amazing stay at this apartment! Everything was exactly as described, and even better in person. The place was spotless, modern, and had all the amenities I needed. The bed was super comfortable and one of the highlights was the bathroom, which featured a nice bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location was fantastic, close to great restaurants, shops, and public transport was right in front of the door, making it easy to explore the area. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in/check-out smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! I’ll definitely be back!
