We enjoy our stay. Was a very comfortable house. Kitchen set up with plenty of dishes. and having a dishwasher was a plus! Beds were comfortable. Fishing was fun! Thank you for allowing our 2 Cavaliers spaniels to stay! Bob and Sherry were great hosts!

We absolutely recommend! Our host Ms. Janet was super nice and accommodating. She welcomed us with snacks, sweet tea and the cabin was super clean, cute and peaceful! The kids enjoyed fishing from the dock. We hope to stay again soon.

Amazing time at April's place !! We enjoyed our time there as a family, we canoe around the lake, fished , got in the hot tub. Enjoyed nature and the peace is outstanding, good to relax from the city life. There are many books and board games and things to entertain with. April is super nice and responds fast with anything you might need. The house its just as described, kitchen is well equipped, she provides everything and more, you dont need to bring anything from home. I will definetely stay here again.

Beautiful home on a lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Allowed us to escape and relax. Saw some colorful sunrises and enjoyed the sound of the water while kicking back on the deck. Extra surprise when we watched a white squirrel play in the trees. This was just the getaway we needed.

we had a great time relaxing at lake talquin! the house is very roomy and has everything you need for a great stay! a couple things to know before you go is the listing says keurig coffee machine. so I bought keurig cups for our trip but then there was not a keurig coffee machine. it was just a regular type. but it was no big deal because Melissa had plenty of coffee available for us at the house. also, the house is off a dirt/rock road which for most people isn't a big deal but my husband is a car guy and hates dirt roads lol. I definitely wish I'd known before hand because we woukd have brought a different vehicle had I known. overall we had the best time and would definitely book again! Melissa communicated well. she even brought us firewood for the fireplace which we were not expecting! so thankyou for your hospitality!

Mr. Randall’s listing exceeded all expectations. The serene and peaceful surroundings offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. His home was warm, inviting, and well maintain. One of the highlights was his dock, without a doubt one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The small housing on the dock provided a cozy spot to relax when I got tired of fishing– it was the ideal place to take a break and enjoy the view. Mr. Randall was a true gem. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel like old friends. He and my husband hit it off right away, and we spent hours chatting about fishing and life. Mr. Randall generously shared his knowledge of fishing, and even helped clean the enormous catfish we caught. His kindness and hospitality truly made the experience unforgettable. If I could give this listing 10 stars, I absolutely would! The warmth of the welcome we received set the tone for our entire stay. Thank you for everything...You are awesome!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The home was beautiful and has a big fenced in backyard. The covered dock and Lake Seminole is just beyond the fenced in backyard. The views and wildlife are absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed our time fishing on the dock and visiting the Lake Seminole State Park about 10 minutes from the home. They have a bait store just down the road as well as a Dollar General and Deli too! Everything you need within 5 minutes of the home. Nice touches that we enjoyed were the really unique lamps throughout the home, extra blankets, board games, and screened in porch. Anyone who rents this home you will not be disappointed! We got lucky with catching some bluegill fish and a big 8lb bass during our stay. We will definitely be back again! Thanks for having us!!!

James was a great host. We were on the run from Hurricane Milton and James even offered us to stay as long as we needed for free! We did not need the extra time but what a wonderful offer. A true Southern Gentleman.

A wonderful place to stay when you only need the hotel experience but want an at home feel. He also indicated he had another property with a kitchenette if I needed. What I loved best was how he took initiative to let us know the place was ready early. On top of that, he made sure the cable was fixed the next morning even though I let him know I just wanted to make sure he was informed of the issue. Just a couple of personal preference items... if you'll be in business attire ladies make sure you have a pair of shoes for walking up and down the path. And if you're sensitive to light when sleeping bring your sleep mask! I know I'm a very light sleeper but I forgot my mask. But otherwise it was nice and quiet and Jack is an amazing host 🥰

This is a charming old apartment in a complex that was turned into condos some years ago. The exterior of the complex is misleadingly dingy--concrete block with water stains from a few window units. It's bohemian, with hardwood floors, two balconies, old furniture, and a lot of character. The building does not front the street, so there is a green courtyard between it and the buildings in front of it that has walkways, huge live oaks, and a bench. You can hear birdsong most of the time from inside. A lake is within walking distance, as is an organic grocery. Landlord was out of state and relied on the previous rental tenant to clean the apartment, so it was not pristine. The landlord now has a housekeeper to clean it after every stay. Some necessities were missing--dish towels, a toilet scrubber, a bath rug--but the landlord was EXTREMELY responsive and everything was supplied. He even had safety hooks put on the screen doors! You will love it if you are artsy and want peace.

Jack and Mollie's place was perfect. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee at The Black Dog Cafe that was a short walk away. We would definitely stay again

Nice place for two people. This is the place if you like fishing out your back door. Bed was comfortable. Nice big shower. Hope to stay again

Amazing and cozy cabin. Feels so homey! Amazing views. Lovely neighbors. We will definitely book this location for more visits to Bainbridge. This cabin was ideal !

We enjoyed our time there. Coming in on a cold front did not help with the fishing. But will go back.

Wonderful little quiet lake house. Fully stocked with everything you could need. I was able to cook pretty much anything with the available kitchen supplies. Clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable. Only thing we missed was a washer and dryer and there is no WiFi (blessing in disguise, honestly.) Only basic cable. Fishing was great. Caught different types of fish right from the dock. The lake is prime fishing if you have a boat.

Me and my new husband stayed at Deborah’s place and it was just beautiful, very clean and responsive to our needs and concerns. If I had any recommendations for future guests would be putting blackout curtains in the bedroom and always adding a standing fan but we are already talking about coming back for our one year anniversary!♥️
