Great place, third time staying here.

The house was very nice. Hot tub was a major plus! Chris was very helpful and responsive.

Excellent place to take your family to. Large but very comfortable. Outside is peaceful. This was our second visit.

This was our second time staying at Ralph's place and it was great, as it was previously! The views of the river are breath-taking! Ralph added a larger dining room table since our last visit, so that will be nice for people with larger groups. The place is very private yet has a great pizza place about five minutes away and lots of great restaurants about 30 minutes away in Prairie du Chien. If you see a tugboat coming down the river with a tow, head down to US Lock & Dam No 9 to watch the tug go through the lock (about 10 minutes away). Very interesting if you've never witnessed it before. We love staying at Ralph's place and will definitely be back!

Very well appointed house. We've stayed in several airbnb's over the years and this house by far was the best supplied for everything a a guest could need. Hosts thought of everything from a well stocked kitchen with plenty of cooking supplies but also an assortment of coffee, tea, condiments, snacks and homemade cookies. There was even foil and baggies we could use for wrapping up our leftover pizza from the pizza place a short walk away. Plenty of room, beds were very comfortable. Plenty of pillows- soft and firm. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, even dental flossers and qtips in the bathroooms. House is lovey and nicely decorated. Immaculate. The whole space was very cozy and the electric fireplace made the living room perfect for long conversations with friends on a cold snowy night. Lots of nice shops and yummy restaurants in walking distance. Location was ideal. Good communication with host. Highly recommend this host and this airbnb! There is lots to do and see in Decorah.

Danielle was very quick to respond to all questions. It was fun getting to see the chickens and hear the roosters (it was in the afternoon not early risers hahaha). Everything went well. There are a lot of deer to see on the drive as well as eagles flying around.

We loved our stay! A beautiful home for a restful weekend. We loved the main living space for game nights and meals, and there was plenty of room for everyone!

Mandi’s place was ideal for a peaceful, quiet get away. We loved sitting on their deck watching the eagles, pelicans and barges go by. There were various places to hike nearby as much or as little as we wanted. We chose Effigy Mound National Monument one day and Pikes Peak State Park the other and both were well worth the time spent. We went to the pub - restaurant literally across the street for a lunch and sat on their deck enjoying the river scenes. The kitchen was equipped with anything we needed for meals at t home. The bed was comfy and we slept great! We reserved this gem again before leaving!

Great place to stay. Right downtown and walking distance to everything. It is upstairs that could be tricky for some people but not a problem! Will stay here again.

Everything in the place was well thought out for this airbnb. Lots of outlets, heated floor in the bathroom, comfortable beds and lots of hangers in the closet! Walking distance to Smokey Dough restaurant which was very good! We enjoyed our stay! Everything was perfect!
