We stayed for 2 nights at Kingsman House in Kandy and had a wonderful time. Though we checked in late at night, the manager (Max) was ready to receive us. The villa is lovely with 8 bedrooms which can accomodate a large group of upto 18 people. There are good sitting areas outside which people can enjoy in Kandy's lovely weather. Would heartily recommend this place especially for large groups. Special thanks for Max for attending to our every need and query.

The host were very warm and welcoming. Every room had the mentioned amenities. We checked-in pretty late, but the host had zero issues with this and didn't bat an eye! Staying here literally felt at home - warm hosts, zero disturbance. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kandy!

We stayed for a couple of days up the hill at Dilrukshi’s place. She had a kind family and we had the most amazing breakfast with her mum a couple of times. The room are nice and the beds are good. The hill is walking distance from the viewpoint but it still feels very serene, since it is at the very top of the hill. Dilrukshi is very good with kids too, our youngest one fell in love I think.

We loved staying so close to nature! We spend almost two weeks here. It’s situated right on the edge of the Udawatta sanctuary, so monkeys visited us quite a few times which was nice to see! It’s not far from the city but when we went food shopping we took the tuktuk back and it cost us around 200 LKR. So if you want something private, calm but also walkable to the centre, this is it. Just mind that it’s close to the forrest and not much light goes in through the trees. But on the other hand the temperature in the apartment was nice due to the location. There’s no need for AC but there’s a fan if you need it. The kitchen has some amenities like rice cooker and smoothie maker. But it could maybe use a bit more cutlery like a new wooden spoon, but things like pan and pots were really good. The WiFi was perfect, no problem with that.

My stay was absolutely fantastic! The property is nestled in a beautiful hill station, surrounded by stunning views that made my trip unforgettable. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing excellent local tips that made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Waking up to the serene landscape each morning was a highlight of my trip. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature. Can’t wait to come again.

We had an incredible stay at Dhanushka's place near Lion Rock. The location is perfect, with stunning views of the jungle and Lion Rock from the terrace—a truly magical experience. Dhanushka welcomed us with a refreshing drink upon arrival, which was a lovely touch after our journey. Throughout our stay, he was extremely kind and helpful, going out of his way to assist us in planning activities and exploring Sigiriya. The breakfast he prepared for our group of five was fantastic—delicious, fresh, and more than enough to fuel us for the day ahead. The house is clean, comfortable, and ideally located for anyone visiting Lion Rock or the surrounding area. Dhanushka's hospitality truly made our trip special. This property is a beautiful home with four large bedrooms and bathrooms and very comfortable common areas. The property manager is incredibly helpful, friendly, generous, and accommodating and he is a wonderful chef. He made us a delicious platter of grilled vegetables and roti in response to our request for a light dinner. For breakfast he made more roti, crepes, toast, omelette, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. All of it was amazing. The house is up a steep hill, but well worth the climb!
