I booked the home for 6 adults and 2 kids, and we had a wonderful 5 day stay. We spent our days swimming in the pool (long enough for laps!); lounging by the pool drinking tea or reading or playing board games; indulging in the most delicious meals cooked by Manjula; listening to the waves crash on the beach that’s a small coconut grove away; or taking naps in the comfortable beds in our airy bedrooms, which were beautifully decorated. Evocative of the Geoffrey Bawa style (a Murad Ismail masterpiece), this style of home may be the best way to enjoy all that Sri Lanka offers. The garden is beautiful. We rarely saw any mosquitos (I still sprayed my kids), despite us spending most of our time in the open veranda/lounge by the pool. Manjula is an excellent chef and cooked a bday lunch for 20. All of my Sri Lankan relatives - the toughest food critics of all - loved his food. Crab curry, hoppers, kotthu roti, chicken curry done 3 ways, butter cake, we had it all! We hope to be back!

This is right up there overlooking the beach. It’s a good bungalow with several rooms. I occupied the entire place and had it to myself. The modern conveniences are all there and the view from the bungalow is superb. Priyath is a very nice person and was at hand to help. It’s also a great location in a different sense, just five minutes from the main Road and maybe a 45 minute drive to Colombo, even though the beach is pristine and calm and is an ideal holiday location with no hustle and bustle. There are supermarkets and restaurants close by and in all, with the a/c and the great rooftop view at the Oasis — which is the name of this listing — its great value for money. At the beginning of my stay there was an issue with a caretaker which I’d rather not mention in detail here. But very soon Priyath who owns the place and is the host, apologized sincerely for the inconvenience caused, and so the entire episode was forgotten. Priyath is a nice caring guy, the beach is superb , being situated in a very rustic sort of laid back location, and Priyath’s place, the Oasis has some great views of the beach and the ocean. If you are a beach sort of person this is a fantastic place because you are right by the beach, and the sea, with the splendid sound of crashing waves . All in all, good value for money. I wish them well — it’s an Oasis!

Отличная вилла. Очень чисто, комфортные кровати, чистый бассейн. До пляжа или крупных магазинов пешком идти далеко, но без проблем добраться на тук-туке, хозяин всегда готов помочь с трансфером.

This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location with a sea view to die for. We were a little concerned as not many reviews, but this is often let as 2 homes together. Alexander was swift to respond and communicate this to us. Sam was always responsive and Dinesh was always on hand to look after us. The dogs are very friendly and absolutely no trouble at all. We already love this area in Sri Lanka, and loved it even more staying here.

Super Guest House in Beruwala, alles sehr geschmackvoll im singhalesischen Stil, besonders die tolle Gartenanlage sticht hervor. Direkt am Strand gelegen, wir konnten jeden Tag am Strand unsere Mahlzeiten genießen. Total freundliches Personal, sehr leckere, hochwertige und authentische Küche. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Dom Prashanth był wyjątkowo czysty i ładnie urządzony. Widać bardzo dużą dbałość o dom. Położenie miejsca na mapie dawało nadzieję na bliskość plaży . Trzeba mieć świadomość , że dom nie posiada parkingu. Również wyposażenie kuchni jest pozbawione gazu. Jest mikrofala i czajnik. W niedalekiej okolicy można znaleźć lokalne knajpki. Komunikacja z gospodarzem była bardzo szybka i łatwa. Dziękuję bardzo miłym gospodarzom Prashanth i jego żonie za możliwość spędzenia kilku dni w ich ładnym domu.

Afran is very nice and also answered fast and also called us upfront to say hi and to know eachother upfront. The appartment is very nice with all you need for a good stay. Aircon in all rooms, VERY good beds! Nice view, full kitchen with all you need. This is the best appartment we had in Sri Lanka and we have been there many times. I can highly recommend this apartment and Afran as host. Internet is also perfect speed. It was great 14 days in Mount Lavinia. Few meter from the beach with good restaurants. Everything was just perfect and we will for sure be back and rent from Afran!

For the dehiwala apartment review : The apartment was clean and well presented. We enjoyed watching the sunset each evening from the balconies which all have an ocean view. The location was great, the bedrooms and aircon comfortable and the bathrooms were clean & fresh. The hosts were responsive and flexible giving us a late check-out as there was no booking after us. The assistant organised for check-in and check-in was easy to liaise with.

Our family group of 5 adults stayed at ‘Home within a City’ from the 6th Jan to 11th 2018. Our hosts Mihiri and Kapila were on hand to greet us when we arrived, and took us through all the formalities. The apartment was exactly as described, well laid out, and equipped with everything one could require on holiday. The excellent location gave us plenty of choice to eat and drink outside. The building had 24hr security and was well maintained. Boswell Residences was a short walk from Wellawatte train station (10 minutes into the Fort), and 5 minutes up to Galle Road from where you could catch a local bus into most places in town. Best was the pickme app with which you could summon a small car that was as cheap as the ubiquitous tuk-tuk, and airconditioned. The Majestic Mall, less than 3km/10min ride away cost me Rupees150. (Always take a metered tuk-tuk). Everyone in our group were unanimous – this is an apartment that we would gladly return to. Thank You Mihiri & Kapila for being attentive and gracious hosts. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would hope to return again.

We stayed at this place for over two weeks. Host Sudaththa and the manager Lakshanee were responsive and ready to help. Our flight arrived after midnight and the drive from airport was slow due to heavy rain. Lakshanee waited for us to let us in and introduce the facilities. They were also happy to accommodate our request to get some groceries for our immediate needs. The pool on the roof is small but very clean and is set in nice surroundings (can see the ocean from the rooftop). A/c units and fans kept us cool and the generator on standby meant there was no power interruption for more than a few seconds. The security guards were alert even after 19 pm and opened the gate for us when we were a little late to get back. Overall the experience was better than anticipated. The kitchen utensil range is limited but if we had asked I believe what we needed would have been provided. We did not because we only needed to make breakfast and tea there.

Awfar’s condo is new, modern and very clean. It had all of the amenities that we needed. Awfar and the property manager were very friendly, responsive and accommodating! I would definitely recommend this property for your next stay!

Johnny was an excellent host and a great partner during my stay. I first reached out to him via phone, and he was incredibly kind and responsive. Thanks to the building’s security guard, the check-in process was seamless. Compared to other Sri Lankan apartments, this one was thoughtfully designed and not cluttered with furniture, which we really appreciated. When the internet went down, Johnny responded within 30–40 minutes with a fix and a clear explanation—I loved that level of service. It was just my girlfriend and me traveling, and while we didn’t need a three-bedroom place, we absolutely loved the extra space. Next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely be booking this place again. We stayed at Jen's place for 5 nights and we enjoyed every bit of it. Waking up to the smell and the sound of the waves of the Indian Ocean was amazing. The apartment was well kept, with fresh towels and clean sheets provided. Location of the apartment was convenient too, with nearby bistros and restaurants that are within a walking distance. We had excess to the pool,which was a plus point for our kids. Responsive host and highly recommend Jen's place.

Jayantha kept in touch with me for any need from check in to check out. I stayed with my family for 1 month. The house is great for staying with family. I wanted to stay for 1 more month, but I couldn't due to some personal problems. Jayantha is a very good person. He gave me many concessions. I apologize and feel sorry for you Jayantha. From this place, everything is very close to super market, local market. You can go anywhere in Colombo quickly. It is an amazing feeling to stand on the balcony of the house and see the sea. Finally, I will say, my family and I had a wonderful time. Thank you Jayantha for your cooperation.

Our stay at this place was great.

My elderly mother, a relative and myself stayed at Prasanna’s place. Prasanna was a friendly host and facilitated especially the needs of my mother. The house was a silent peaceful place. I managed to read a lot in my stay and participated online conference from there. We had good overnight sleep in those great air conditioned rooms. The garden was spacious with lots of trees . Many of them had local fruit which we enjoyed with permission from Prasanna. Local areas were still villages and good to experience the feel of Sri Lankan villages

This apartment has three rooms all with the majestic Indian ocean view, the lounge and kitchen also has mesmerizing view of the ocean. Clean, spacious and fitted with all the basic needs, this apartment is suitable for families and those who are looking for a home away from home. A perfect holiday home that provides comfort with hygiene and serene environment to soothe the tiring minds during much deserving holidays. The owner Mr. Sunil is also very cooperative and polite person and it was a pure delight dealing with him and staying at his beautiful holiday apartment. Highly recommended. Raj
