I would absolutely stay here again. This was the best pet friendly rental I’ve ever stayed in. The amenities were just as described, and Harry and Stella were wonderful hosts.

The Mermaid Cottage is beautiful, spacious, peaceful and close to many amazing activities and attractions! We loved the space to spread out and relax after our days of many activities. There are beautiful beaches very near, easy access to redwoods parks, and lots to do around Crescent City! We LOVED Seaquakes Brewery!!

Sally greeted me at arrival. She was warm and had a lot of love for her family properties. The hot tub was fresh and clean, the house was warm and cozy- and the couch was so comfortable! The fresh baked goods and eggs were an exceptional addition!

Linda’s place is very charming, it felt very cozy. The place had everything we needed our dog loved the private yard to wander around. Location was great close to the beach and The trees of mystery. Thank you Linda! for being super responsive and proactive as a host.

The view from Dana’s place was spectacular. Dana was very quick to respond to any communication. Beautiful home. Dana’s kitchen was well equipped for any cooking or baking you would like to do. Would recommend. Dana was lovely. Thank you.

Patricia was so kind and helpful, gave lots of details on the house and things to do in Crescent City. The house is within walking distance of the beach, the park and the brewery. The house was very comfortable and we felt right at home, we cooked a lot at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would stay again!

Jennifer was a wonderful, helpful and extremely responsive host. We had to reach out a few times with local guide questions and she was great! Super cute and cozy space, we LOVED the fireplace for some of the rainy evenings. A 1/2 block from the beach and short drive to Seaquake Brewing. Highly recommend the space.

It was a great place with lots of room. The yard was amazing. The short road into the area was a dirt road with lots of pot holes. Nothing to do with the owners of the property. The driveway was paved and lots of room to park. Just make sure you bring your own amenities. No laundry soap, shampoos only 2 hangers in the closet for your clothes in each room. which isn’t a problem we just went to town a purchased the items we needed. ;)

What a beautiful home for our weekend visit to the coast. Everything was bright, airy and clean, nice big fenced in yard for the doggies and just a block to the beach. We loved the house, the layout and it had everything that we needed. Thanks so much for a great stay!

We called Marc's place home for 7 weeks! As a family of 4 it was private, quiet, and safe! The fruit plants in bloom were a nice addition. The outdoor picnic spot is private and cozy. The kitchen is immaculate. Washer and dryer worked great! Temperature was very comfortable. The garage has some beach gear The kids loved, folding chairs and tools to build sand castles. We travel a ton. Our goal was to see if we wanted to call Crescent City our home. From this base camp we decided yes we do! We only stayed home to sleep, work and do homeschool and the rest of the time we were in the Redwoods or at the beach or listening to the Elk Bugle by the gas station. Elk bugling is over for the year and it's time to head back to Texas for now. We look forward to staying again as we venture back to finish buying property in Crescent City. Marc was an excellent host in every way. Laid back and professional. For real, this is the spot for efficiency and comfort! Don't hesitate to book.

Had a great stay with the family! Only 20 minute drive to the trees of mystery and 5 minute walk to the beach. Clean, cozy, and was able to accommodate for my family of 5 and beagle bodhi. Would recommend!

As long as you read the whole listing then you will know exactly what you’re getting,…only better. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, Grandma Patree thinks of literally everything. It genuinely was like walking into Grandma’s house, fresh bread and cookies included. Couldn’t have asked for better accommodations for our quick trip home. As others have said, the accommodations are wonderful but the real shining star is the host. We will be back, very soon.

Great spot, right between places to get provisions and scenic coastline overlooks - both walkable! This was a great home base for us in Crescent City while we explored the surrounding Redwoods. The family history of the home is also so welcoming and endearing.

You'll love the stay here! Exceptionally well-appointed kitchen with high quality items. Beach access is just outside the house. You can walk for miles. Quiet. Ocean views only from the bedrooms and only when you turn around, not facing as the bed is organized. Great place!

As described and easy to access given my last minute booking. The neighborhood is right along the coast and very quiet.

Great location and nice place to stay with group of 10 people. The hot water in bathrooms is kind of serially available to all bathrooms so if at a time two bathrooms are in use, the hot water was not available to both or only one bathrooms. Other than hot water, we had blast and i would recommend this place to anyone or i would love to come back and stay here again.

I was shocked at the cleanliness of this home due to the age. you can tell they're slight wear and tear but for the view and the fact that they take such good care of it and it is so clean is well worth a return trip. There's no foot access to the beach but the view again is well worth it

My best friend and I stayed for a few nights to explore the redwoods, and it was great to have a quiet place to come back to! Not a lot nearby, so we picked up groceries and made use of the full kitchen. The hosts were very thoughtful and their communication was great!
