Stayed with my adult kids and grand baby. We had an absolutely amazing stay at David’s accommodation! The home was set out well to suit all of our needs and had recently been updated. Access to the kayaks was an excellent way to enjoy the ocean and have fun together. Such a beautiful location central to heaps of local sites of interest, not to mention the gateway to Abel Tasman National Park. Good comms from host - very easy to book and access. Would highly recommend and would definitely return, if in the area! Thanks again David.

We had a beautifully relaxing and energising couple of days at Tira Ora. The hosts were super lovely, the place was full of rustic charm, animals and birds everywhere. The rooms were comfortable, home-cooked food was delicious, and the place so captivating, we were sorry to have to leave. Great for families, a real natural treat away from it all.

Loved Ruth's place and really found an appreciation for the art. Awesome location nice and central to town and bars and restaurants close by with beautiful views and all the homely things you could need. Place was also really cosy and homely

We had a lovely stay at Ben’s summer Bach. Waking up each morning to a view of the bay can’t be beat. The location is close enough to access Picton and Blenheim for restaurants and cafes etc while still feeling secluded and tranquil. Each access to trails and a wonderful place to kayak around. The fenced yard was perfect for my pups as well.

We stayed at Tira Ora over Christmas and was definitely an amazing and very memorable time. We we're treated as part of the family with exceptional hospitality, food and festivities and even received a Christmas present under the tree. The estate is vast, with lots to do and explore and a good get away from civilisation, truly a retreat where one can reconnect with nature and each other. Our only regret is not spending more time here. Much love to the Tira Ora family, you were amazing!

We have had the most amazing stay! The apartment is even better than it looks in the photos! View to die for from the enormous balcony, super comfortable beds, high end appliances & friendly accommodating hosts… we don’t want to leave!

We found the Clifftop Retreat cabin suited our needs perfectly and Bob provided an excellent level of communication, service and local tips. He also ensured the pantry and wines were stocked with high quality local products. The accomodation was very good with comfortable bed, terrific functional kitchen and amazing clifftop views of the surrounding bay and local area. The location was perfect for our walking trips up into the Abel Tasman National Park and also fantastic local restaurants and wineries. Bob also organised a pick up from the airport for us as we arrived late at night. Overall a fantastic stay and would certainly recommend Clifftop Retreats very highly.

A wonderfully unique property in a beautiful location. We had a brilliant stay with our family at this homely and picturesque spot. There were great places to eat and drink within walking distance too. We would love to return one day!

This place was absolutely in the most wonderful setting and walking down the stairs to the expansive sea views was very special. The home is architecturally designed and has a lovely feel to it. What a treat to sit on the deck take in the views of the start of the Abel Tasman national park, then take a dip in the infinity pool and jump into the spa was magical. The pool and spa were very clean. Kitchen had everything needed to make food prep a breeze. Top end appliances make living easy in this stunning home.

Beautiful place and location, and Sally and Wayne are very welcoming. A cute little village with great restaurants and ice cream is just a short walk down the beach. I highly recommend this spot for anyone, but especially for people interested in sitting on the deck soaking up the gorgeous scenery !

We were celebrating my father's 89th birthday with a small road trip around the top of the South Island, Jenny's home was the perfect place for us to do this. From the moment we booked Jenny provided us with quick replies to questions about things to do and see, her communication was fantastic. We liked the house, location, views and the host so much we extended our stay for an extra few days. We were very pleased to find a coffee machine in the kitchen and some really tasty local coffee blends to try out at the start of each day. We loved sitting on the deck in the late afternoon sun, taking in the spectacular views over the ocean and Kaiteriteri beach, this was a daily delight. Our stay at Awaroa Bach was unforgettable. Elva and Geoff were incredibly welcoming and generous with their time, offering local insight that helped us make the most of our visit. The bach is peaceful, well-appointed, and perfectly located with easy access to the estuary and nearby water taxi stops. We loved the spacious bedroom, outdoor kitchen with BBQ, and thoughtful touches like fresh herbs from Elva’s garden. A highlight was kayaking at high tide and spotting manta rays—truly magical. On our last night, we shared dinner with Elva, Geoff, and some neighbors, which made us feel genuinely at home. Highly recommended.

Wir hatten auf unserer Reise durch ganz Neuseeland einige Unterkünfte - die von Tim und Michelle gehört zu den allerbesten. Die Unterkunft ist Tip Top in Ordnung, man hat alles was man braucht (und noch viel mehr): von der Küchenausstattung, den Spielen, den outdoorrmöglichkeiten (freie Fahrräder und Kajaks) sowie der persönlichen Beratung zu möglichen Aktivitäten in der Gegend. Simply the best location! Beautiful views across the bay and perfectly situated across the road from the jetty, which has a bench seat to enjoy the sunrise and sunset with a coffee or beer. Halfway situated between Havelock and Picton, and 5 minutes from the start of the Queen Charlotte Track, this is the ideal location for walks and exploring the Sounds. The ideal home away from home

Marty and Sabine are wonderful hosts. They are long term residents and have lovingly created their home in this exquisite location. You cannot find a more peaceful and soulful spot. Swim, hike, read a book and be grateful that you landed here!

The Ligar Bay house is a unique experience. The location is fabulous. The house itself is wonderful in its functionality and beauty. It makes you realise how relaxing life can be if you leave out unnecessary luxuries. We feel very lucky we had the opportunity to live here for a week. More over Golden Bay is a beautiful part of NZL, and Ligar Bay is the perfect spot to enjoy it. You can do parts of the Abel Tasman walkway to the east (awsome) and explore Cape Farewell to the west (astounding). Definitely recommended.

In short, one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at (and we have been to quite a few). My partner and I spend 2 weeks in the Best Island Bus and had the most amazing time. We honestly barely left the property because we enjoyed it so much! The location is beautiful and so calming - your stress is immediately gone as you hang in the hammock and watch the birds in the trees. It was the best place to disconnect and rest. The bus is fully equipped and so well done - has everything you could want! Simon and Clare are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. You can tell how much love and thought they have put into this place and they go above and beyond for their guests. Would recommend this to everyone! We would come back in a heartbeat and were sad to leave.
