Sue’s place had great views and that cozy cabin feel. She was a great host and was very willing to accommodate us. The Airbnb was exactly as it was described. The surrounding town was also beautiful and had excellent places to eat. Well worth the stay.

A peaceful stay for visiting and recovering from the busy nearby towns. We stayed for a fall weekend getaway and Zully's listing was perfect for us. My partner and I enjoyed the privacy and quiet nature of the property. It was a well needed contrast to the busy restaurants, beaches, and park we visited, which were only a 20-minute drive away. It was our dog's first Airbnb stay, and she loved it even more than us. The property has a very large yard with ample walking space. There are also well cared for chickens on the property, which our dog loved watching through the window.

Pat and Nell were such wonderful hosts. It was the perfect mix of function for a nearby swim meet at St Mary’s and relaxation like a mini vacation. The beds are very comfortable, the linens are nice and the shower is wonderful. Although we didn’t use the laundry it was so nice to have accessible units so we could dry my son’s swim suit and towels in between sessions. The location is just beautiful, filled with lots of history which Pat was so gracious to share with my boys and I. Highly recommend.

A great stay in a great location. Peaceful and secluded, but still very close to grocery store, restaurants, etc. The house itself was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We loved the cozy detached kitchen.

The home was not only beautiful but comfortable, too. Shannon provided information about the local area with lots of great recommendations. The Farmhous was close enough for easy travel to Williamsburg and Yorktown. The rooms were beautifully furnished and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, we throughly enjoyed using the firepit, and the Farmhouse was very clean and tidy. Things to consider: We arrived after dark, and the area is remote, so be on the lookout for deer. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to use the kayaks because we visited in the winter, but they were readily available and easy to find. We'll have to visit again when the weather is warmer! And finally, it is a farmhouse so there are steps both in and outside the house. If you have anyone with knee or mobility issues, this should be noted. Thank you, Shannon!

I think the Northern Neck as a winter destination is severely under rated! Cozy cozy cozy! I love the knotty pine room that looks out over Prentice Creek and across as the the conserved Ditchley Ciderworks' woods. There's another bald eagle!

Wonderful home. Very close to catochin mtn hiking trails. Very close to town. House was immaculate. We used 3 of the beds and they were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked - we cooked two dinners and 3 breakfasts. Bathrooms were updated and very clean. Lots of towels available. If you’re coming to this area, stay here! We would definitely stay here again!!

Our stay was awesome. Amy and Owen were friendly, super responsive, and very helpful. They also helped us out with kids things and other items we needed, even brought us down sleds when it snowed for the kids to use. It was also very comfortable there and it had all the amenities we needed for a month long stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Speechless! The cottage is extremely beautiful, cozy and peaceful. Do yourself a favor and book it! The hosts Lisa and Larry and above and beyond in so many ways to make us feel comfortable and at home. Lisa left us a beautiful charcuterie board, snacks, and tons of drinks to choose from and Larry made us the most beautiful home cooked breakfast with eggs from their chickens! This place is magical and spectacular in every way! We didn’t want to leave and definitely will plan a trip back- this cottage is a hidden gem and was such a blessing!

We had an amazing stay at this charming farmhouse w our young kids and elderly parents! The property was perfect for a relaxing getaway that we all needed. The chickens were a delight, and collecting fresh eggs was a unique experience. I cant tell you how much my kids love it. The pond added a serene touch, and the outdoor movie setup was a fantastic way to end our days. The host Hannah were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. She is so pleasant to work with and very responsive. She sent us the local recommended restaurant list and we love them all. We did a day trip to Washington DC easily from this location. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful retreat! Such an amazing airbnb stay and we will come back.

As always, we felt at home in a clean, comfortable garage apartment that features a peaceful setting.

Beautiful and peaceful guest home on a farm just outside Richmond. My husband and I and our two dogs stayed overnight in Misty and Justin's guest house after spending a day walking and eating/drinking our way around Richmond. It was wonderful to spend the night here away from the city. We were able to walk around their farm, saying hello to the pigs, chickens and rabbits, and generally enjoy the open space and scenery. The guest house is absolutely beautiful and comfortable and is all you need for a weekend getaway. The guest house opens to a shared (with Misty and Justin) patio and they graciously let us relax in privacy with our dogs. There is an enclosed yard in the patio area that we were able to walk our dogs around in, noting that they too need to let their dogs out to go to the bathroom on occasion as well. It was a quiet and beautiful getaway that we would absolutely recommend and stay at again.

Really lovely little location + place. Sure, it’s a little older, but it’s charming. It was so quiet and peaceful and we appreciated the access to the chairs and bikes. They were a little rusty and worn but who can complain, really, when they are complimentary! Worked just fine. Wendy was responsive and friendly as well. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay/take advantage of the area!

Loved how charming this old house was and there was plenty of room for our family if 8. Leslye was kind and communicated very well. I absolutely loved all the antiques in the house. We would definitely stay again!

Peaceful Haven lived up to its name! It felt like a little house in the woods. Check in was easy and everything was spotless. I felt right at home right away. I enjoyed sitting in the sunroom sipping my coffee and having dinner at The Office. And always, the lovely sound of birds. I was able to relax and unwind. Thank you, Gita, for a lovely stay! This was our third time renting Eva’s place for family visiting over the Thanksgiving holidays. Once again, Eva was very responsive and everything worked out perfectly!

This was our second visit to Paul & Erma’s. It’s in a perfect location for us to visit our son and family in Dover. It’s also very quiet with very little traffic. We especially love the swing, we sit out there in the morning enjoying our coffee and the company of their friendly little gray cat “Smoky.” We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay, it has everything we need. We look forward to go back in the future!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Chatham Farmhouse! Not only was the historic Farmhouse a welcome change from typical lodging, the hosts could not have been more accommodating and friendly throughout the duration or our stay. The serene setting, coupled with close proximity to the winery, made for one of the best ways to experience the Eastern Shore. We are very much looking forward to returning during the summer months, and would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

This stay is everything you'd expect it to be! My 2 year old absolutely loved looking out at the horses and meeting the pups on the property. The place was very comfortable and clean and close to a lot of amenities. The host was very, very friendly and even let us watch a polo lesson! I would absolutely recommend this stay!
