AMAZING stay!! We had such a blast with all of our family at this cabin. It was tranquil and beautiful. Would definitely recommend :)

Loved this location and loved skiing at Powderhorn mountain! The only thing is the wood fireplace is meant to be used as the main source of heat - it worked out just fine but we it took a little bit to light the fire! All in all would highly recommend!

John was a great host, and the accommodations were great for our family for powder horn.

Absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for the true Colorado getaway this is your place. The cabin is well stocked, just bring food and clothes. Enjoyed our coffee on the front deck watching the sunrise. I would be happy right there the rest of my life. Our favorite airbnb we have ever stayed in! Just book it, you wont be disappointed!

great place to stay, between all the local restaurants and wineries, and abundance of other activities like biking and hiking I would highly recommend staying at the Basecamp in palisade, quite, clean, and super helpful staffing

A miner's cabin in Colorado in the fall, what could be more relaxing? The needle rock cabin is fully restored with all the latest updates yet still feels off grid and begs you to slow down and take everything in. No detail is overlooked and Kerstin is very responsive. Spotlessly clean, so many small but meaningful touches make this an ideal peaceful getaway. The tiny town of Crawford is only minutes away and bigger town of Paonia is 30 minutes down a lovely country road. Colorado at its finest!

communication from start to finish was perfect. arrived and checked kn quickly. cabin was exactly as described and amazing for our needs. Basic sundries were there along with coffee, they also offered board games and snow sleds! we booked a 3 hour snowmobile tour for my wife, 13yr old daughter and myself that was a true highlight of our trip! I would highly recommend both staying at Thunder Mountain and doing the snowmobile tour!

Peaceful and private! I really needed a place for a little R&R and Bernadette’s place delivered. Lots of open grassy areas for my dog and I especially enjoyed sitting on the covered porch in the rocking chairs. There isn’t a full grocery store in town but it was a very quick and easy drive to the nearest one. Definitely recommend and would stay again if I ever make it back there.

The hosts are amazing and truly care about their guests and their experience! The cabins are amazing, the location is so beautiful and they even have rentals. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for another amazing stay!

Great cabin in an unbelievable spot. Put my skis on right outside the door and crossed the road to awesome groomed Nordic trails! Kitchen had what I needed and the shower was nice and warm at the end of the day!

I ran this place out to do a leadership meeting weekend for our ministry. The place was perfect. We had 14 men so some of us had to sleep on couches. The kitchen was stocked full of all different kinds of cooking tools and the house was perfect for what we needed. Check-in was easy and checkout was very self-explanatory and extremely easy also. Recommend this place 10 out of 10.

We loved the place. Great time playing pool Kitchen well equipped Beds comfortable. Host very responsive. Beautiful pastures. Extremely well kept. I definitely would recommend
