Great place to stay, great hosts and plenty to do nearby. A fun long weekend for us and our three young grandchildren with the bus being the star of the show! Cheers Amy and Terry…Top marks!!

This is such a beautiful spot. The pictures don't do the lodge justice and the hot tub is one of the best we've ever used! There was so much space for the boys to play outdoor games and it felt completely safe. The hot water bottle on each bed were a lovely (and welcomed!) touch as well 😊 We found a great chippy 5 minutes down the road and Oswestry was a short drive away.

Jan has been an absolutely amazing host! The air bnb was perfect, with a very accommodating host and a really beautiful surrounding area. Myself and my dog Ash absolutely loved our stay here.

Lovely and. Cosy, clean and peaceful. We had a lovely time . Running late on arrival and host going out at 6:15pm, so this did panic me as I was afraid we would have to sleep in the car all night. Only airbnb I’ve gone to that doesn’t allow a lock box or anytime check in. That aside had a lovely time and the bacon and sausages were a real treat . Thank you

Had a great long weekend on the bus as a family of 4 & a dog. Plenty enough space, secure space outside for the dog. Pub over the road ideal for a few drinks, location great for days out & walking the dog. Hosts were very friendly & helpful.

We have had the most amazing weekend. The caravan and all the amenities where great. A perfect family getaway. Paul was very friendly and made us feel at home. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The barn is full of activities and the children played all weekend. Thank you we will definitely be returning.

Beautiful camp spots! The road down to the camp isn't too bad, lots of passing places. Lovely Thai food available to purchase. I had a forest pitch and it was just lovely. Then there's a walk down to the estuary and you can see the sunset down there. Toilets kept clean and stocked up. Also a small shop for snacks and basics! I would definitely come back :)

Thank you Jess for creating such a breathtaking place-myself and my hubby spent 3 of the best nights we’ve ever had in your beautiful Yurt-it was extremely spacious & the bed felt like we were on a cloud-my husband is very fussy with beds and he said he has had the best nights’ sleep in the bed of dreams as we looked up to see the most incredible stars like we’ve never experienced before. The scenery to wake up to watching the epic sunrises is something else! Hot tub was amazing & to sit & watch the sunset in the tub was complete luxury for us & the fire pit & outdoor cooking was one of the best experiences of life to cook from the local butchers overlooking the views. Magical. You are such a kind, generous host and our stay was made special because you also let us feed your lambs! Thank you so much. We are booking again without a doubt.

We were delighted with our stay, it was perfect and we were blessed with sunny weather. Jinx the dog was lovely to have around. Truly lovely hosts and very accommodating, we felt right at home and can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely lovely place - quiet and private in beautiful surroundings, and a short drive into wonderful Shrewsbury. Rebecca provided an incredibly list of recommendations (we particularly enjoyed Ed's fine dining at home catering). Having the kitchen and bathroom (both well equipped) in the guardhouse was a great idea, as these didn't have to be squeezed into the beautiful train carriage, leaving more space to relax. Very, very highly recommended.

Our stay with Sarah and Danny was just perfect from start to finish. Check in was super easy and Sarah told us everything we needed to know and we knew where to find her if we had any questions. The tent was right next to the lake and it was really lovely and clean with an extremely comfort double bed. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful, we really felt relaxed and even managed to do some fishing and actually catch some fish! The train station was a 5 minute walk away and you could get on the train to Chester within 12 minutes which was great. There was also a lovely pub just opposite the train station which had great food and drinks. On 2 out of our 3 night stay we hired a log burner off Sarah and Danny and it was fab! Our favourite part of our stay was sitting outside the tent at night with the fire burning and looking up at the stars. We loved every minute of our stay and Sarah and Danny were both amazing and made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to come again and will be recommending to all our friends and family. Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Stunning location and a unique set up that will be rare to find anywhere else. From the gazebo/ hot tub, the camper itself and the surrounding areas, everything was clean and tidy and beautifully decorated. Out of the way of all the hustle and bustle of a big town but also able to access bigger places if that's what you'd like. Stunning views from the front of the camper and a great nights sky full of stars from the field at the back. Nina was very friendly and offered some great tips for our stay. Overall amazing hosts and accommodation, can't wait to come back!

This is such an amazing find! From the delicious homemade jams and ginger cake to the most gorgeous view of the stars we have ever seen, we enjoyed our stay in the Karen-van so much! It is so comfy and warm with the fire on and either a bbq or some homemade pizzas we had the loveliest evenings you could imagine. Ruth was a fantastic host and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay :) we will definitely be back!

Couldn’t recommend this place enough, perfect for a mini get away with easy access to North wales (Snowdon National Park). Incredibly welcoming and lovely hosts, very friendly. Fully kited out outdoor kitchenette and utilities, perfect for a bbq and situated in a lovely area.
