Lovely place! We spent 3 nights here over new year and would highly recommend it. Amazing views and walks from the doorstep (hidden waterfalls were a gem!). The weather was unpredictable (high winds, heavy rain, then ice) but Richard’s communication with us was excellent - even before we arrived he contacted us to warn us of the bad weather and advised us to arrive earlier than planned so we weren’t travelling in the dark (the cottage is up a steep hill - easy to find when you have the directions, but I’m very glad we arrived in daylight!). There was snow on the day we left, and Richard kindly gritted the path so we could leave early. Mobile phone reception and WiFi was a bit patchy at times, but the cottage was clean, warm and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and constant hot water. The log burner provided extra warmth in the evenings. There’s so much to see and do in the area, I wish we’d stayed longer! Would definitely come back again.

A lovely and very comfortable little barn with great hosts. Excellent communication and flexibility: We booked on the day of arrival and Kim very quickly replied offering us early arrival should we wish. Very highly recommended.

A cosy yet spacious , welcoming cottage in beautiful, and very peaceful , private surroundings. Directions were very easy to follow. We arrived in complete darkness, yet had no problem in finding this lovely property which was very warm and inviting after a long drive. Everything we needed to make a cuppa on arrival and also a very thoughtful gifts of fresh eggs and Prosecco. Exactly what we were searching for for and more.. We couldn't believe how well we slept each night as the super king bed is so comfy and the bedding is very luxurious. No road noise, just birds singing. Bliss.. We got to explore many beautiful places each day within short driving distances and enjoyed a walk along the private drive and onto the quiet lanes surrounding the cottage. We even enjoyed the stargazing opportunity from the lovely spacious walled garden and was very reassuring to know our dog was safe within the garden boundaries. We would 100% recommend and plan to book again. Thank you! :)

The house was beautiful and very well located. Will definitely consider staying again but maybe in the spring/summer as we found the house a little cold in the evenings/overnight.

I stayed here for a retreat and was in heaven! Stunning house, beautiful surroundings and the hosts were so helpful and lovely. You get to learn a little history about the house as well if you’re into that. Would recommend 100%!

A beautiful little cottage for a peaceful stay. Rhian is very communicative and friendly also. My mum, dog, and I felt right at home and didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back soon. Thank you very much Rhain.

A great place to stay had everything we needed beautiful scenery, so peaceful. The cottage was exceptionally clean and had lots of character. The living area was perfectly equipped to relax, watch Tv, read a book or play cards. The stairs may be a little tricky for young children or older people but for us it was an added charm. The location was perfect for exploring what north Wales has to offer. The cottage had all the facilities for a comfortable, cozy get away, we will definitely stay here again.

The cottage was quaint and out of the way, I enjoyed the garden, views & peace. Helen and her husband were friendly and helpful. The little touches like the beautiful cut flowers on the table. Home made goods and little notes left, all made our stay special. Thank you

We had such a lovely stay at Alison and Patrick’s. Stunning location and we were so lucky with the weather which made the views breathtaking. They were really kind and flexible about our check in and check out time which was a great help. And gave super helpful advice about logistics, Conwy Castle is a must see. We had a wonderful few days and hope to come back some time.

What a fabulous property I am amazing setting. Nigel’s property is perfect for the weary traveler and has everything you need. The thought from Nigel about victuals, home comforts and accessibility were second to none. Easy to navigate to thanks to clear instructions, homely and welcoming, it was the perfect overnight pit stop for us (couple plus dog). Couldn’t ask for anything more.

One of my favourite Airbnb's I've ever stayed at, super cosy & comfortable, superbly equipped, excellent communication from the hosts, and ideally situated just outside Snowdonia to head into the mountains and explore. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, we'll be sure to return one day soon!

The house was lovely, the underfloor heating was an absolutely incredible experience and made the house so cosy. Seeing the chickens made a great start to the day too. Was a lovely place with a lovely host. Would 100% recommend to anyone needing somewhere to stay.

Amazing hut in a lovely location! Jane was a fantastic host who gave us great recommendations. There is a lovely walk through the nature reserve on the doorstep and great food at the local pub. The hut was very cosy and had everything you need. Would definitely come back!

Absolutely loved staying here last weekend. It was everything we wanted; peaceful, cosy & relaxing! The space inside is perfect, the bed is comfy, the wifi and Netflix work perfectly. Outside you can feed the alpacas and sheep, which was my perfect Saturday morning! The bath outside was perfect (there’s probably only enough hot water to fill once as I did try top it up but was met with cold water), and it’s private enough so even with other guests in the other lodges you can’t hear/ see them. The hot water is a little iffy but the instructions in the book helped massively as we realised you couldn’t put it on full heat immediately. The only thing I’d suggest is potentially getting an air fryer as we struggled with getting things we could eat without an oven! Absolutely 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Had the most wonderful stay and Sian and Garry’s, they were so sweet and responsive, the best part had to be the wonderful goats, we loved how close it was to walk to town and waking up to those views was so special. Thank you so much! If we ever come to Llangollen again, this is where we’ll be staying!

Our best Airbnb ever! This property is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay to explore North Wales! The hosts were warm and friendly and always on hand to help and make sure we felt looked after. The property is well equipped and perfectly private. We stayed for a week over half term with our 12 YO boys. We loved the games room, hot tub, visiting Bill and Monte (the horses) armed with their favourite pepper mints, watching the incredible peacocks (watching us, they are very inquisitive). A great base for adrenaline fuelled fun at Zip World, hiking up Tryfan and visiting other local attractions. Thank you Peter and Jan for being such great hosts!

No better hosts than Helen & Tony, thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful holiday cottage. This picturesque property is nestled amongst fields of horses, rare breeds sheep and stunning countryside. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, clean, cosy, welcoming and is of grand proportions. It is situated within a period courtyard and within easy walking distance to lovely river/ woodland walks… do extend your walk to end at the ‘Sugar Plum Tearooms’ in nearby Rhewl … a real treat! The log burner only added to the ‘zen’ surroundings and the unexpected snowfall created a perfect ‘winter wonderland’ that we all enjoyed … seeing the distant snow capped Clwydian mountain range from the comfort of the living room, was absolutely breathtaking. An ultra comfy bed made for refreshing sleeps and little homely touches around the cottage made the place feel ‘loved’. A wonderful break away… we will return.

The cottage and the grounds had everything and more than we could ask for and I have never slept better anywhere not even at home as well as I slept at the pigsty. I just can not express how much I loved this place definitely worth the visit to everyone. The nearby lake beautiful too.The sauna another added bonus helps relax and de-stress very bone in your body. Beautiful area. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, very clean, and had lovely touches. Tea and coffee provisions were generous and the hosts friendly and available but unobtrusive. The nearest pub was excellent too. We had a very pleasant stay.

Me and my friends had a lovely stay here and would definitely book again. The place is well kept and remotely located. The hot tub is a great extra alongside the games room. Sian was very helpful and pleasant, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to family and friends
