Location was excellent for our purposes (in the center of the city, few minutes walking distance from the University, the market and the railway station) The host was a bit slow in responding before arrival in the UK, but issues regarding were resolved upon arrival at the airport. Overall the apartment was in good to excellent condition apart from some issues which were considered minor due to the relative short stay of 8 days. (One window was very tricky to open and close, the freezer needed some defrosting, one of the faucets had a broken drainer, no towels or sheets were changed during the length of our stay)

Lovely little cottage, absolutely spotless and very cosy with decent quality bedding. We enjoyed our stay and would like to come back to explore a bit more. Great location, if like us, you want to escape the town/city/concrete.. but still want amenities on your doorstep. Supermarket, butchers, garage and pubs etc. We loved the hot tub and log fire...and the trail, literally out the back gate turn left. Would also recommend The Hardwick Inn, a short drive away for their home-cooked pies! Great communication with host. Thank you Jennie!

This cabin is an absolute gem! David and his wife are the most welcoming hosts, making sure every detail is perfect. The space is spotless, stylish, and beyond comfortable. You can feel the love and care they put into hosting. We loved every moment and would come back in a heartbeat!

I had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth, including a delicious home-baked cake that made us feel instantly at home. The cottage itself is stunning, blending cozy charm with lovely decor and thoughtful touches throughout. The views are absolutely breathtaking—perfect for unwinding and taking in the scenery. The hot tub was an added luxury, allowing us to relax under the stars. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a personal touch.

Elliott house was such a lovely stay. Instructions were clear and check in was super easy. It's in a lovely location and it was spotless clean too. There was a basket eith biscuits and teas/coffee on arrival and the heating was on so it was lovely a cosy (especially handy when it's - 1* outside) the parking is right outside too. We all loved it. With some comments from others with us that the photos online didn't do it justice! The hot tub was a great addition and an added bonus was feeding the animals with Vic too. I'm pretty sure that's a activity for the kids but we (a group of 7 adult women) absolutly loved it. Fresh eggs from the chickens were a lovely touch (and delicious) I'd recommend this place for frienda and family and it's jst as good for adults only as it would be for families with children. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

We stayed for my partner's birthday and it was absolutely beautiful. The hot tub was a particular highlight - the night was perfect for stargazing and it is now a treasured memory for us. The place was spotless and well equipt with a comfortable bed and a nice refreshing waterfall shower. Lots of places nearby to walk around and admire the countryside. We ate at the Duncombe arms which is about a 12 minute drive away and was excellent. Thank you so much for having us!

We all loved the Shearing Shed. Tucked away in the bottom of the valley, it is a clean, cosy, comfortable house set in beautiful surroundings with amazing views from sitting room, bedrooms and garden. The ground floor was wonderfully light and airy. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was lots of comfortable seating for both sitting and dining. Learning about alpaca farming and meeting the alpacas was an unexpected added bonus! I would highly recommend as a quiet, peaceful retreat with lots of walks direct from the house and with easy access to Buxton.

What a lovely place! We absolutely loved the set-up. The Yurt itself was cosy and well appointed and having your own bathroom (with lovely products) and hot tub was a game changer! The BBQ but was awesome - we didn’t use it this time but would in the future and the kitchen space was fab. Our daughter loved the goats and the play area and we were able to relax and unwind - perfect!

There were 8 adults in our party celebrating a milestone birthday and we had a great time. Paul and Sarah were helpful, responsive and flexible,.The Barn is amazing with 4 big bedrooms and plenty of communal space. The location whilst secluded is beautiful and we loved the animals (chickens, ducks, pig and peacock) which also kept us company. Thoroughly recommend Grange End Barn and our Superhosts and hope to return soon.

We had a great time in Lynsey’s ‘Little Barn’. It was both quirky and cosy and our kids were really excited about the mezzanine bedrooms and the table football. The barn’s in a stunning location and it was very quiet and peaceful. Lynsey was a responsive host but also respected our privacy. We would highly recommend it!

Such a great place for a big group as there is ample space . The house suited our needs well- the big garden is beautiful and we all had such a lovely weekend together at Cocking Hill house

This was our second stay at Swallow Cottage and it was every bit as lovely as we remembered. The cottage is finished to a high standard and has clearly been lovingly maintained. It was warm and cosy even when there was ice and freezing fog outside. The property provides flexible, comfortable accomodation for a friends or family get together, all the facilities you could imagine needing, and an outside space that is safe and secure for dogs and tots alike. Our thanks to Claire and her family for being such great hosts.

wow, I was amazed with the views, the size of kithen and dinning area, rooms, numbers of toilets! it was all what we were looking for. The energy of house itself was very positive! thank you for a lovely stay!

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

This property was perfect for our family get together for a special birthday. the property was spotlessly clean, there was an abundance of glasses , crockery etc, and everything we needed for our stay. the property was warm and comfortable, with lots of hot water. the dining room and lounge were large enough to accommodate us all comfortably so perfect for our get together. we really did all have a perfect stay.

our stay at staycation cottages in bakewell was lovely. the love nest Lodge was very quaint and well equipped. the bathroom was especially layed out nicely. I enjoyed the access to the football playing area, pool area and the swimming pool. we used the bbq area once and made full use of the boot room for leaflets and information for our stay would definitely return back

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

We loved our stay at the cottage. Festively decorated and we had a nice welcome surprise on arrival. Check-in was super easy and we had quick replies with any queries we had. Comfy beds and vintage decor and furniture. Only negative was that I thought the radiator in the double room wasn’t working, until check out day when I realised it was just turned down to zero! So I was chilly most nights! 🤣. The swimming pool was great and we had it all to ourselves which was a bonus. I didn’t see the games room but friends kids that visited had a great time there. I would recommend and I would stay again for sure!

I had a lovely stay at this Airbnb near the Peak District! The place was even better than the photos—beautifully maintained, clean, and very comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the host was incredibly responsive and kind, making sure everything went smoothly. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely stay again!

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.
