Absolutley lovely, the cabin was incredible with gorgeous views and very easy to access. Incredible offerings aswell, and very clean and tidy. Will definatley be staying again and will be recommending to friends and family. 10 out of 10

This barn is very deceiving, it look tiny on the outside and so big on the inside. Absolutely lovely little place, with a real old cottage feel to it. The place was in pristine condition and had everything we needed there and more. The Barn is very private with nothing but beautiful fields around which was perfect for our getaway. Jay our host was great in checking in with us through messaging to see if we checked in ok etc and very responsive to my messages. Overall all we are very happy and would definitely stay again. Thank you Jay for having us 😊

A wonderful stay at this scenic roundhouse, a short drive to some glorious peaks and local pubs! There were enough facilities to cook if we wanted to and we woke up to stunning views

Lovely lodge, even more spacious than the photos show! Very clean and plenty of amenities for cooking etc. The lake was peacful and very centrally located for things to do in the area such as bike rides, Conkers, furnace museum etc. A good Coop a few mins walk away and bigger supermarkets a short drive. The bistro on site, run by Joanne did the most amazing brunches and HUGE slabs of homemade cake. I wish we had discovered this before our last day! Highly recommend a meal by the lake side. They do beer and wine too but its only open until 4pm so make the most of it during your stay!

Thank you Laura, we loved our stay at the hut. The Prosecco was a lovely touch. Lovely and clean and the log burner was great. The views from the patio were amazing. The only slight problem we occurred was that the hut was advertised with an smart speaker, but when we tried to speak to it/find it it was nowhere to be found. Luckily we had took our own speaker. Stayed here for one night 21st March . Excellent little place , exactly as described, no WiFi wasn't a problem there is good enough mobile data to do everything we needed on our smartphones including Spotify so advise you bring a Bluetooth speaker if that's your thing. Hut was clean , warm , cosy , comfy bed , good bathroom and had everything that was needed . Definitely recommend and would love to stay again another time . Thank you Shannon.

We had a wonderful stay. So cosy and we felt right at home, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was really comfy. The location was peaceful with a great view behind. We saw a barn owl the first night which was exciting, and the footpath is right next to the driveway so all really convenient. We were only away for the weekend but we felt like we'd had a really proper break away from it all, it was so peaceful and relaxing.

Sharron’s place is absolutely stunning and we had the most gorgeous, peaceful, romantic escape. We’d come back in a heartbeat and really recommend it. Sharron was so great at communicating with us and made us feel really welcome. Thank you!

Lovely cottage in the beautiful village of Litton. Second time staying in Litton but first in this accommodation. Alison was very helpful with directions and check in information and had also left a welcome basket with some treats which was a great touch. The cottage was clean, spacious and had everything you could need for a getaway. The annex is a short walk to the local Red Lion pub which is great for food and Litton is a great base for exploring lots of amazing walks in the peak district, we will continue to come back every year!

We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay on the farm. The atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by nature and stunning views of the sheep grazing nearby. It was both comfortable and amazing , a perfect getaway to relax and recharge. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a serene, countryside setting❤️

The place is so cute and cosy, everything was perfect! Nicola was very patient considering we got lost on the way and she stayed on the line until we found the place (our fault for not being great with directions even though she sent us very clear instructions beforehand! haha). A fantastic little hut, next to lots of farm animals. It comes with a brilliant view and within walking distance to some great hikes in the heart of the Peaks! For the asking price, this is a a great retreat for any couple or individual looking to get away. We loved our stay and we are already dying to come back.

The shepherds hut was in a beautiful peaceful location, extremely cute and cosy, with everything you could need. Greta location with a lovely traditional pub a few minutes walk away selling traditional pub grub. Brilliant. Close to many walks and a short drive to Bakewell Jenna was a very responsive, helpful host. We are 💯 coming back

Stayed with my dogs who absolutely loved the area and the open fields! We had an amazing time! I read a lot about the space being small but actually although it was on the smaller side we were absolutely fine with our dogs and the two of us! The heater was amazing and the lodge was sometimes too hot but a fan was provided! Which was amazing. The hosts were responsive when needed! We had everything we needed to have a lovely week away! I would definitely recommend this to anyone! The views and walks nearby were amazing! Will be back!

The perfect couples cosy getaway! Can not thank our hosts enough. Very welcoming and easy to contact if needed. Accommodation is very comfortable and cosy, lovely personal touches. Beautiful surroundings and we very much enjoyed a morning coffee watching the local wildlife go about their day and a little stargazing on the clearer evening where you can see constellations you’d never see in more urban areas. Thank you for a lovely, peaceful break. We will definitely be back. Close by to Ashbourne and Carsington Water for trips out and also highly recommend The Bluebell, Kirk Langley for their amazing pizzas and loaded fries!

We only stayed at Berties retreat for one night but it was just what we were hoping for. Super cute hut with everything we needed, the location was very private with a nice woodland view. Penny was a brilliant host, she was there within minutes when we needed help. The local pub was perfect for an evening meal and within walking distance of the place. Would definitely stay here again when out hiking in the Peak district.

We had the most wonderful stay at Nathan and Katie's Shepherd's Hut, what a beautiful little escape! Nathan greeted us on arrival and was super helpful and friendly across our stay. We also got to meet the wonderful animals on the farm and even had several little visits from the farm cats, one of which often enjoyed a little cuddle with us. There is a beautiful walk nearby that you can start directly from the farm, and local amenities in the local villages. Alton Towers in just around the corner so a perfect place to stay if that's where you're headed. I cannot recommend the Shepherds Hut enough! Thank you Nathan and Katie for our beautiful little stay 🥰

We absolutely loved staying here. The scenery, the walks and everything you need in the Shepherds Hut. It was just what we needed to wind down for a few days. Would thoroughly recommend.
