This is a delightful place to stay in the gorgeous Huon valley. My 7-year-old loved feeding the chickens and patting the horses. Terese made us very welcome and provided us with thoughtful recommendations on activities ( I would strongly recommend the fossil beach! ). The accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfast (with fresh eggs, local bread and delicious jam) and coffee machine were thoroughly appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Perfection!! I had the most wonderful stay I didn't want to leave! the cottage is beautiful inside and out, it felt so homely and calming and the view of the river was something special! everything about this place was amazing including the beautiful gardens and the super comfortable bed. I would recommend staying in autumn like I did to see the beautiful colors change on the trees and curl up by the lovely fire place. it felt like you were in your own private oasis and it was just what I needed. with fresh produce and pastries on your door stop what more could you ask for. I will definitely be back and would recommend this place to everyone. so if you thinking about it do yourself a favor and book it!!

Peaceful location, large bedrooms, great outdoor area for kids to explore, and it felt very homely yet clean, and easy to stay in. The kitchen was great, big enough for the whole family to eat in. Loved being able to visit many local attractions.

Park View Maydena is a fantastic place to stay—whether you're riding, hiking, or off searching for Gollum in the Junee Cave system. Clean, comfy, and in a perfect location for adventure!

Clean, spacious, located in a beautiful and quiet location. My favorite Tasmanian Airbnb (out of eleven) after six weeks on the island.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great for walking around town but was also quiet and private. Great views from the front porch of mountains and river. Comfortable and well equipped house. Off street parking. Very peaceful and pleasant stay. Thankyou.

A quaint mix of old and new, a very easy place to stay. Good access to Mount Field National Park. Spacious and well provided home. The fireplace was a real winner! Along with the electric blanket that I as a Brisbane resident was grateful for. My 78 yo father appreciated reminders of his childhood 1950s home :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights spent here. The house was located on a rural property with plenty of room around, quiet and peaceful with views of the surounding countryside and mountains. The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious with plenty of room for a family with extras to entertain the children. Lovely to enjoy the woodfire on cool nights. Plenty of wood supplied. Kitchen was well equipped for overnight or extended stays Highly recommended and would stay again if visiting the area Great base to explore the Huon Valley and Bruny Island(35-40 min to Ferry)
