Fantastiskt hus och natur med mycket vilda djur på stor mark. (påfåglar, fladdermöss) Hundarna är ett problem för mig som är hundrädd vilket drar ner upplevelsen något då de både skäller på natten och strövar runt poolen på dagarna. (notera: De är snälla) Servicen och personalen på plats va hjälpsamma och snälla. Vi älskade kvällsbad i poolen, en fin promenad ner till stranden och ett avlägset privat boende med autentisk känsla. AC på rummet är ett måste, fint att det fanns. Vi älskade Polhena och matlagningskursen i Sambol Garden.

really nice house, and really nice host, wasn’t quite where the pin location was, but they let us use the scooter so was easy enough to get around, also quite nice to be a little set back from the main hustle of weligama

We had a great stay at Bandula’s villa! Bandula was so helpful and friendly. The place was clean and perfectly located. We would 100% stay here again if we came back to Sri Lanka

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in Kumbalgama und haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen. Kalsara und seine Eltern waren jederzeit erreichbar und halfen gerne mit Tipps. Sie haben sogar einmal für uns gekocht, sodass wir uns sehr heimische gefühlt haben. Lediglich der Lärm von der Straße ist ein kleiner Wermutstopfen, wofür jedoch der Gastgeber nichts kann.

An amazing place to stay and enjoy the beauty that is Mirissa. Till was very proactive and helpful, with everything right from the instructions for the house to local recommendations. The house is very lovely, we were a big family of 8 and each one of us enjoyed the stay.

Домик нам очень понравился: чистый, светлый, просторный! Было всё необходимое для комфортного проживания. В доме есть небольшая терраса, можно посидеть или полежать в гамаке в тени. Домик выходит на дорогу, поэтому может быть шумно(в том числе и ночью), но нам это не сильно мешало, ночью использовали беруши. Порадовала оборудованность дома: много посуды, всё необходимое для готовки, бытовые мелочи; в ванной комнате отличный душ и стиральная машина (в этом климате действительно спасала функция сушки). В доме нет кондиционеров, но нас это не смущало, т.к. мы не большие любители кондиционеров. Мы обходились вентиляторами, за исключением пары дней, когда на улице было очень жарко и влажно, тогда немного хотелось включить кондиционер. Также в доме есть много вещей для пребывания с детьми (нам не нужно было, но это показатель заботы о гостях). Домик расположен в горку, можно ходить, можно подъезжать на тук-туке, проблем с этим не было. Дом рекомендуем!

Wir hatten zwar nur einen kurzen Aufenthalt von zwei Nächten im Tiny House, aber es war einfach wundervoll! Der Dschungel und die angenehme Privatsphäre haben uns unglaublich geholfen, richtig zu entspannen. Auch die Restaurants in der Umgebung, die mit einem Tuk-Tuk gut erreichbar waren, haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles in allem war es ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, und wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Villa很漂亮，很有特色，Tia和斯里兰卡的服务生都很热情友好，帮助我们很多！意外之喜是villa晚上到处是萤火虫，甚至在你的房间里也有萤火虫。

I booked the home for 6 adults and 2 kids, and we had a wonderful 5 day stay. We spent our days swimming in the pool (long enough for laps!); lounging by the pool drinking tea or reading or playing board games; indulging in the most delicious meals cooked by Manjula; listening to the waves crash on the beach that’s a small coconut grove away; or taking naps in the comfortable beds in our airy bedrooms, which were beautifully decorated. Evocative of the Geoffrey Bawa style (a Murad Ismail masterpiece), this style of home may be the best way to enjoy all that Sri Lanka offers. The garden is beautiful. We rarely saw any mosquitos (I still sprayed my kids), despite us spending most of our time in the open veranda/lounge by the pool. Manjula is an excellent chef and cooked a bday lunch for 20. All of my Sri Lankan relatives - the toughest food critics of all - loved his food. Crab curry, hoppers, kotthu roti, chicken curry done 3 ways, butter cake, we had it all! We hope to be back!

Im a travel agent from Vancouver . After 12 days biking around Sri Lanka with a group of friends we were looking for a little down time . This property is hidden away in a lovely quiet lane only steps from Marissa’s main stripe & beach . Best decision we made was to eat at the property. The lovely hosts made us dinner. Hands down our breakfasts & dinners were the best we’ve had ! That’s saying something as we all love the food here ! I’d highly recommend this little gem .

We hadden een heel leuke tijd in Karin haar. Alles is perfect in orde en schoon! Leuk strand op wandelafstand en alles is gemakkelijk bereikbaar met de tuktuk driver. Sathish de house manager was heel vriendelijk en gemakkelijk bereikbaar bij vragen.

Perfect for what we needed, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Staff were very kind and helpful. Ours room was spotless and just like the pictures.

Etmba House is such a treat! The home is cozy, stunning, and perfect for a family getaway. We really enjoyed spending our days there. Everything is clean, and the crew—Nuan, Michael, and Shehaan—are super attentive and outstanding. A special mention to Thilakshi, whose delicious local dishes were so fun to try. It’s the ideal spot to relax, whether lounging by the pool, soaking in the quiet, or listening to the calls of peacocks. The location is fantastic too—close to Galle and several beautiful beaches, with Autos and Ubers readily available. Lara is communicative and can answer any questions you might have. Highly recommend it and we cannot wait to be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Bianca and Dasun’s house at Weligama, the most perfect situation, you can walk straight onto the Beach. Bianca was very good at getting back to any queries we had and recommending places to eat. They have a TukTuk which Dinu or Dasun will drive you around in, in the local area. Breakfast was delivered every morning and they kindly did our laundry for us. We could not recommend it more, very lucky people who get to stay at Absolute Beach Villa

Punchi Dowa est un petit paradis en dehors du temps. Tout n’est que beauté: la nature, la maison, le soin apporté à la déco, même le dîner préparé par Pududu qui est aussi bon que beau. Plus qu’un séjour, c’est une expérience à ne pas rater. Merci et bravo à Hettie.

Brilliant stay! Warm, welcoming family and Kasun was always quick to respond. He gave us excellent recommendations for the area! Spacious villa, gorgeous garden with sunbeds and easy tuk tuk parking within gate. The washing machine was amazing to have, with a line in the sun where clothes dry quickly. Convenient small grocery next door for all the essentials. Ask for the homemade cake. Yum! Some delicious local restaurants in the residential area near villa. 5-10 minute drive to Weligama Beach and 15 to Mirissa. Highly recommend! Thank you again.

Exactement ce que nous cherchions. Tranquille au milieu du monde. L'essentiel est là. Le plus a été de découvrir un blinder, ce qui nous a permis de déguster de bons jus tous les matins avec les bons fruits locaux. un régal, un séjour parfait. merci 🙏

We hebben een hele prettige tijd gehad in de mooie woning. We zouden deze plek zeker aanbevelen! De host is prettig in omgang en reageert snel.

Dharshana’s place is in an absolutely beautiful spot, just a short walk from the beach. The location is so peaceful and perfect for anyone looking to escape and relax. The place itself is super clean, well-kept, and has all the amenities you’d need for a comfortable stay. What really makes it special, though, is Dharshana himself. He’s such a friendly and caring host, always easy to reach and happy to help with anything. You can tell he genuinely cares about making your stay enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place to kick back, unwind, and enjoy some beach vibes, this is it. Highly recommend!

Shamila wasn't present personally but he ensured all the things are in place :) His mother was very helpful and considerate. We used the utensils and tried to make as less dirty as possible :P Location is spot on, away from hustle-bustle of the town and close to the bus stop. We will recommend the stay for all our friends :)

The house is super cozy and lacks no detail. The environment is perfect, quiet and we loved everything. Thuruni was very friendly and helped us with everything, to rent a motorbike, take a tuktuk, he recommended things in the area…The cleanliness was impeccable and everything was perfect. My only downside is that it is a bit hot inside the house😬the fan is not enough for hot days. But the bottom line is that the house is great and all the outdoor space is bigger than you would expect.

Wir haben eine Unterkunft hier gefunden… unglaublich, um alles zu beschreiben. Der Platz war wie auf einem anderen Planeten, so unheimlich schön ! Mehr Privatsphäre geht nicht! Das Haus ist super , alles sauber und in einem tollen kolonialen Stil gehalten. Der Garten ist wunderschön. Aber das absolute Highlight: der private Strand mit einem natürlichen Pool. Ich bin heute noch am Schwärmen von diesem Platz. Ein großes Lob auch an das Personal! Immer höflich und immer am Arbeiten, um alles schön und sauber zu halten. Wir sind nach 7 Tagen ungern abgereist! Danke für dieses traumhafte Plätzchen auf unserer Erde
