Wir waren mit unseren drei Kindern für 10 Tage im Haus. Das Haus ist zu fünft gut zu bewohnen, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und der Garten lädt zum Frühstücken und verweilen ein. Mit den Fahrrädern ist man schnell am Strand in Zandvoort, alleine die Fahrt dorthin mit dem Rad ist schon toll. Auch zum Supermarkt ist man schnell mit dem Rad gefahren. Für die Kinder gibt es sehr viel Spielzeug und auch ein Basketballkorb vor dem Haus, der sehr gut angekommen ist. Ich könnte noch sehr viel mehr schreiben, aber mache es kurz. Wir würden wieder kommen!😊

Traumhaftes Haus in perfekter Lage zwischen Nordsee, Amsterdam und der kleinen, super schönen Stadt Haarlem. Wohnliche Einrichtung, viel Platz und gutes Entertainment für Kinder machen das Haus perfekt für Urlaub mit Kindern

Sehr schönes, sauberes Haus mit nettem Garten. Vic ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Es stand auch Kaffee in der Machine für uns bereit und eine Flasche Sekt im Kühlschrank, vielen Dank! Die Küche ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Selten haben wir ein so sauberes Haus mieten können. Wir haben es als sehr angenehm empfunden, keine persönlichen Dinge der Hausbewohner zu sehen. Die Kleiderschränke waren leer mit vielen Bügeln, also auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt, danke!! Es gibt genug Parkplätze und man kann mit Hund direkt zu Fuß vom Haus starten. Das Meer ist sowohl mit dem Auto als auch zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen . Wir waren in Den Haag und Rotterdam. Der TV funktionierte nicht, ist jedoch sicherlich schnell zu beheben. Vic hat sich schnell mit Tips gemeldet. Wir konnten per Screen mirroring trotzdem von unserem Samsung auf NETFLIX zugreifen. We hebben ons direct thuis gevoeld. Een heerlijk ruim huis, alles wat je nodig hebt, is er. Super fijne keuken om zelf in te koken. In deze kersttijd was het huis bijzonder passend ingericht met prachtige kerstboom. De ligging is perfect, te voet in de stad, tram naar Scheveningen en lekkers inkopen direct om de hoek. En verrassend genoeg is het er erg rustig. Wij waren met 6 personen (ouders, 2 zonen en hun vriendinnen). We waren allemaal reuze blij en tevreden. Wij komen beslist terug!

We have just got back from a perfect family holiday at Marisca's house. The house is spacious and despite only being a couple of minutes walk/cycle ride to the town centre with shops, including supermarkets, delicious ice cream parlours and numerous restaraunts, the street is very peaceful with fr parking on the square or outside the house. The house is within easy reach of the big cities either by car, public transport or by bike. We used the park and ride to get into Ansterdam for the day. This only cost around €15 which included the return metro for 5 people. The highlight for us was the cycle ride to the wonderful beach at Wassenaareslag which took about 20 mins along safe cycle lanes (the UK needs these!) from Marisca's house. Communication with Marisca was fantastic the instructions were easy to follow and she reponds to any questions quickly via Wattsapp. Thankyou to Marisca and her family for letting us stay in your beautiful house to explore The Netherlands at our own pace.

Der Kontakt mit Elise war immer freundlich und sie war sehr zuvorkommend. Wir durften die Wohnung und die Parkmöglichkeit schon vor dem offiziellen Check-In nutzen. Auch eine längere Nutzung der Parkmöglichkeit hat sie möglich gemacht. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß, hell und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Bei kleinen Kindern ist allerdings zu beachten, dass es zwei sehr steile Treppen gibt. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, unmittelbarer an dem scheveniger Bauernhof. Der Strand ist in einigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Wir hatten uns Fahrräder ausgeliehen, so waren wir sehr schnell am Strand. Danke nochmal, dass wir die Wohnung nutzen durften. 😊

The house was super great and almost more beautiful than in the photos. The information folder about the house, the surrounding area etc. was very helpful. We were also very happy about the drinks provided and the Nespresso set up! Sander was very easy to reach and always responded very quickly, helpfully and sympathetically.

Natasha was a very responsive host and the directions were accurate and easy to follow. The house was as described and pictured and was clean and well maintained. The stairs are typical for the area, so be prepared. The neighborhood worked for us because it was close to my sister, but there aren't a lot of options for coffee or restaurants that are walkable so you either need a bike, or rely on transit which can be slow. My only complaints was that there was not a hair dryer anywhere in the house. Natasha pointed out that she had not listed it as an amenity, which was true, but coming from a different country over the holidays prohibited me from bringing or buying one (they were not sold anywhere nearby and then stores were closed for two days for Christmas). It was very inconvenient and given the quality of this rental, not what I would have expected. Despite that, it was a nice stay in an updated space and Natasha was a good host.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very cozy and comfortable, and was well equipped with all of the amenities we were looking for. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful for anything that we needed. In particular, the black out shades in the bedroom helped us get a great night's sleep every night. The location was superb, great restaurants and grocery stores were right outside of our door. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Très bon séjour chez Jelle avec qui la communication est très fluide et réactive. L’appartement correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes pour un couple avec deux enfants dans un très bel environnement. Je recommande vivement si vous êtes de passage dans la région 😊

Douwe hat uns bei allen Fragen geholfen und uns sehr viele Tipps gegeben für Unternehmung, Restaurants etc. Die Unterkunft war sauber und sehr zentral gelegen. Es war ein sehr authentisch eingerichtetes Apartment. Wir konnten früher einchecken und ebenso unser Gepäck wegen später Abreise zwischen lagern. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt ☺️

Arjen is an amazing host! Our family of 4 visited the Netherlands during our Spring Break in the States and had one of a kind experience exploring Amsterdam. The Captain's House is an amazing find, not too far from a lot of the different food spots, transportation, museums, and historical sites. Arjen was one the more personable hosts we've experienced. He was very thoughtful and flexible with luggage drop off, took the time to walk us around the neighborhood, gave great recommendations. The flat was very clean, lots of character and history, also great coffee for all those coffee lovers out there. Please don't hesitate...if Amsterdam is on your list of visits in Europe, book The Captain's House! Thank you again Arjen for making our family feel welcomed!

Es war eine sehr schöne Woche bei Otto und Esther. Die Wohnung entspricht allen Angaben und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Otto war sehr einfach zu erreichen, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn Utrecht- dann Otto :)

Die Lage ist sehr zentral, die Ausstattung absolut ausreichend, wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Möbel und Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre kommen, aber haben Charme und alles war sehr sauber. Annette war eine tolle Gastgeberin, immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder 😊 Preiswerte Parkplätze sind in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Le logement est conforme aux photos, dans un quartier calme et sympa. Il est aussi très propre et fonctionnel. Busra est très réactif et disponible en cas de questions. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir à Rotterdam. Merci Busra

I absolutely loved my 3 week stay here, it has everything you could need. It instantly felt like home and includes many small details that makes your stay easy and pleasant. You can really tell that Han's has given good thought and care into the space. He is an absolutely wonderful host that I hope to stay with again in the future. The location is amazing, as other reviews has said, it's the perfect distance from the city center/centraal station(10-20min). Even if you don't feel like going that far, there are many delicious restaurants within 1 block. Grocery stores, museums, the zoo and plenty else to do within 3 blocks! During the day the neighborhood is lively and active, but it never feels overcrowded. There's a constant stream of pedestrians, bicyclist, bridge raises, and boats passing in the canal to watch. During the night it a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Bonus points for stable and fast wifi and an awesome hot shower. You won't be disappointed staying at Han's😁👍

Der Aufenthalt bei Jacqueline war wunderschön! Die Unterkunft bietet alles, was man für einen kurzen Urlaub braucht - eine gut ausgestattete Küche, ein bequemes Bett, einen kleinen, süßen Balkon und eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, bei der man sich sofort willkommen fühlt! Man wohnt in einer ruhigen Gegend im beschaulichen Zandvoort. Zum öffentlichen Parkplatz, zum Strand und zum Stadtzentrum sind es jeweils ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

L'appartamento è molto carino e super pulito. La comunicazione con l'hosting è stata veloce e cordiale. Consigliato!

This lovely place is right off the park, walkable to restaurants, shops and even to the museums (through the park), and just a 20 min ride to the city center. It's in a VERY family friendly area!! The host is excellent -- very friendly and helpful and quick with responses. The flat is fully appointed and even has a little back patio, but 2 of the bedrooms are quite small, and the stairs between floors are steep!

Die Wohnung ist ideal für Familien mit Kindern. Es ist alles da was man braucht und ist super gelegen.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt zum Abschalten. In der Wohnung war es gemütlich und genau wie auf den Bildern. Die Nähe zum Strand ist super. Die Wohnung liegt zu Fuß ca. 30 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt und generell sehr am Rande der Stadt - dafür ist es sehr ruhig.

Very nice apartment in a quiet location close to the beach. Plenty restaurants in walking distance. Everything was very clean and in perfect condition. Katy was very friendly and helpful at all times.

We had a fantastic stay at this flat! It looked exactly as shown in the photos—clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk from our daughter’s place, which made everything super convenient. Access from the street was straightforward, and the lift to the 3rd floor made getting in and out with luggage easy. Communication with the host was seamless and quick, which we really appreciated. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend this flat, and we’ll definitely be back!
