We spent a lovely week at Marjolein’s beautiful home. The house is even more spacious than the pictures suggest and it was totally spotless from top to bottom. Everything we needed was available and Marjolein had thought of everything. The beds were comfortable and the washer and dryer meant we went home without suitcases full of laundry! The location of the house is very convenient - five minutes walk to the tram and 10-15 minutes from Central Station. Marjolein and her husband were responsive to any queries we had and were both friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend this lovely home if you are seeking somewhere close to Amsterdam! Annette’s home was a great base to explore Amsterdam with our young family. The house is about a 5-10 minute walk to the tram with regular, quick service to Amsterdam. Stores are about 10-15 mins walk. The area is peaceful and there are beautiful views from the house. The kitchen is beautiful and well appointed. The bedrooms and living room are large even by American standards. We did not use the garage but it would be very helpful for anyone exploring further afield with a car.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Willem ! La maison est très agréable. Assez grande pour que chacun ait son espace mais avec un bel espace dans le salon pour que l'on puisse passer du temps tous ensemble. Tous les équipements nécessaires sont disponibles et tout était très propre. L'extérieur est très agréable et ma fille était ravie de profiter des jeux extérieurs. Nous nous sentions "comme à la maison". La localisation était parfaite, grâce aux vélos réservés par Willem nous n'étions qu'à quelques minutes du Ferry pour accéder au centre. Il y a également de belles choses à voir aux alentours (comme le Straat Museum qui est superbe !). Bref nous recommandons fortement ce logement !!

This stay was everything we hoped for and more. It was peaceful, beautiful, comfortable, and filled us with happiness. Inge and her family were hospitable hosts—when we arrived, local beer and juice were in the fridge, fresh flowers were on the table, and bikes were available on site for us to rent. She also provided excellent recommendations on things to do. We loved taking the bikes into the local town and along the river. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-appointed, making it feel like home. But it was the scenic location on the river, residents, and farms down the road (like Over-Amstel) that made this stay magical and hard to leave. We were glad that we rented a car, it's a short drive from the airport and allowed us to explore surrounding areas that would have been harder to get to by public transit or biking alone. I can't recommend this place more, we hope to come back.

Rick was a wonderful host, had a friend greet us on arrival to show us the place and gave us a little tour of the town, since he was away. Greeted us with a bottle of wine and an excellent instruction manual and recommendations of nearby “things to do” He has a lovely home in a walkable town. Rick was responsive to any concern we had. I highly recommend this property and Rick!

Erika was a wonderful host—extremely responsive, full of helpful recommendations, and accommodating. The house was a comfortable and convenient base to explore Amsterdam, with just a short walk to the tram to Central Station. It was fabulous to wake up to the sun reflecting off of the canal right outside our bedroom window and to sit by the water at the end of the day. The grocery store was one tram stop or a 10 minute walk away. Lovely neighbors gave us a tour. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

What a beautiful house in a wonderful setting - thank you Ingrid for letting us use your house. Tastefully and comfortably furnished the house is situated in a lovely peaceful corner of Ijburg - facing onto an area of water. We swam every morning from the swimming deck even though it was October and it was beautifully refreshing. Ingrid’s house is a great place from which to get into Amsterdam - the centre is easily accessible in 15 minutes on the 26 Tram yet set peacefully away from the hubbub of the inner canal district. We borrowed the bikes to do as the Dutch do and cycle into town one day too. Great fun and a wonderful place. I hope we will return.

Miriam is very friendly and owns a nice dog. She was very helpful. The Airbnb was clean and really great. The check-in information via email was very helpful and clear. We would love to come back to this great Airbnb!

We had the most amazing stay here. The house is beautiful and spacious across the two floors. Communication was excellent and it was super easy to check in. The place is a little further out but getting around is super easy and there’s always lots of transport options. The swimming jetty and house cat were also a real bonus!

Das gemütliche Hausboot von Harold ist ideal für einen Aufenthalt von ein paar Tagen in Amsterdam. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist man superschnell in der Innenstadt! Das Hausboot ist gemütlich eingerichtet und es ist ein kleines Abenteuer, darin zu wohnen, wenn man es nicht gewöhnt ist. Harold ist sehr freundlich und hat uns sogar einen Obstkorb und eine Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung geschenkt!

Jacqueline was most welcoming to us. She gave us very clear directions on how to find her place. Her home was festively decorated for the holidays and she left us some special treats, including some amazing Dutch cheese. The views from the windows and balcony are nice. At checkin her instructions about how things worked in the kitchen, etc., were very helpful. Jacqueline also provided us with great information about unique places to visit in Amsterdam. Beds were quite comfortable and cozy-warm. Her cats were friendly and entertaining. The location is an easy walk to restaurants, grocery markets, and interesting shops. Transit is close by for an easy commute to museums and other places of interest. I would recommend staying at this Air BnB.

Séjour très agréable chez Robin; l’appartement est moderne, très propre et calme. Compter une douzaine de minutes pour rejoindre le tram et une quinzaine de minutes de tram pour rejoindre la gare centrale. Un peu excentré, mais le cadre est très agréable et relaxant, face a la baie.

Great place to stay in the city and not a place with lots of stairs, which is rare in this city. Overall we would definitely stay again, it was great 👍🏽

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad en genoten van het uitzicht. Het huisje was schoon en netjes en van alles voorzien. Het uitzicht was geweldig. Helaas liet het weer het niet toe maar de mooie momenten hebben we heerlijk op het terras en de steiger kunnen zitten. We logeerden in huisje # 5. Echt een aanrader. Goede bedden en volledig uitrusting in de keuken.

Wundervolle, gemütliche, ruhige Oase vor den hektischen Toren Utrechts mit einem schönen Blick ins Grüne. Rudi ist ein tolle, herzlicher Gastgeber bei dem man sich sofort willkommen und Zuhause fühlt.

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans le logement de John. La maison est très très bien décorée et on y trouve tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et s’y sentir très à l’aise. L’emplacement est calme et idéal pour visiter les environs. Le jardin clos est un havre de paix et très mignon. Une magnifique escapade. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Edam is a great place where you can easily get everything you need on foot. It has lots of great restaurants in walking distance and everywhere has picturesque canals and waterways. Super friendly and relaxed home with top class amenities. Perfect for a family .

Wir haben uns bei Lonneke sehr wohl gefühlt! War alles wie auf den Fotos beschrieben. Ich fand auch toll das Sie mir immer schnell auf meine Nachrichten und Fragen geantwortet hatt. Die Unterkunft war sauber und gut eingerichtet so das es an nichts gefehlt hat. Die Lage ist sehr toll und mit dem Bus sehr gut von Amsterdam erreichbar und man ist in gut 15 Minuten im Zentrum! Wenn man Ruhe haben will nach der Hektik von der Stadt,kann ich diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen! Einfach super schöne Lage und super Gastgeber! Danke für die tolle Zeit und für Deine Gastfreundschaft! Komme gerne wieder wenn ich wieder einmal in Amsterdam bin. War alles Top!

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

We spent a great day there! Everything looks even better than on the pictures. The house and surroundings are really cozy and peaceful, good for walks or relaxing cycling. We met a beautiful sunset on the terrace (feels private!) and had a nice breakfast (kitchen is fully equipped). We stayed there in the middle of March, when it wasn’t so warm outside, but inside the house it was nice and warm (you can use an air conditioner for hitting and it works absolutely fine). The host is friendly and proactive — all our questions were addressed even before we asked it 😁
