We spent a month here during a project we had locally and felt right at home. Our hosts were amazing and very accommodating. The home was super comfy and cosy and well worth the price! I was sad to leave honestly. I highly recommend Evolve’s cozy home… we have been to other bnb’s in the area and this one definitely stands out… a cut above the rest.

On a five day Civil War trip to visit sites associated with the last 9 months of the war. Just very special to stay in the Wallace House because of its association with Lincoln and Grant. You can almost feel the history. Very convenient to the Petersburg National Battlefield from City Point to Five Forks. Very pleasant drive to Appomattox. The town of Petersburg and the house itself, because of continuing renovation, need a little TLC, but all-in-all, a very memorable stay. We had a little difficulty entering the house as we missed the entry pad and tried to gain entrance by the lock box on the rear door - totally our fault!!

Rachel and Tommy were very welcoming. We had some good chats, getting to know each other. They were very considerate to share their house with us. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, etc in order to make our meals. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. They have a nice backyard that looks out into a field. We would have been able to stay and relax at their house, while they were at work, but it turned out that we made last minute plans to visit relatives near by. They have 2 cats that were quite friendly. The 2 dogs were taken to a family member while they were at work. The house was nice and clean and homey. Thank you, Rachel and Tommy for your great hospitality.

The home is very historic and the rooms are beautifully decorated to match to match the era of the home. Theresa is very easy to communicate with, as we had some schedule changes that went very smoothly. Rooms are upstairs, quiet, and clean. Common areas downstairs are best for dog lovers! 😀

This was our second time staying at Kim’s property and with good reason. Once again, it was a pleasant stay. The pictures accurately portray the space. It was so nice to arrive and find snacks, water and coffee available. Kim really goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a great experience. He is very responsive and proactive. Also, the bed in the master bedroom is so comfy. We enjoyed taking walks along High Street into Old Town where there are plenty of restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice place had a great time. She communicated very well which I love ! Not far from stores which is a plus !! Nice and clean. Loved how upstairs was private. Quiet neighborhood also

Great find. close to everything. Even tho my work trip got cut short this was a good place to stay while in the area.

The apartment was located right in downtown Richmond so it was very easy to walk around and explore the cute restaurants and shops! It was also very convenient to have a designated parking spot in the back. The co-host Nelda was very responsive and gave very clear instructions for check in and check out. Just note that this apartment is on the 3rd floor so you will have to climb a few flight of stairs otherwise everything was as described!

wonderful stay! booked it for Galaxy Con and it worked perfectly. walkable to both the convention center and a ton of restaurants. very comfy, far enough from downtown that it was quiet at night, and a lovely stay overall

Xianfeng’s place is just perfect and the amenities make it super convenient. The location and the best part of a designated parking make it the ideal place for a person with a car. Would highly recommended for visiting Richmond.

This was my third time staying with Alyssa. The location is great, it is just the right space for me to work and get around by foot. I will keep coming back!

We just fell in love with the historic Churchill neighborhood and Sue’s place is a wonderful place to stay. We brought our dog and Sue always left him a full water bowl and treats in the courtyard. The apartment is in a historic building and has both a beautiful courtyard and private balcony with the apartment. We loved walking around the neighborhood with our dog which had a park nearby which overlooks the river. Within walking distance are a coffee shop and many different restaurants and lunch places to choose from. We always had a parking spot right in front and drove around the city without any problems. We highly recommend Sue’s place!

This was our 4th time staying with Christian and Naomi at this location. It's a great location! Walkable to Stella's Grocery as well as a couple of coffee shops. We love the fact it's very close to the Floodwall to get in a long walk! In terms of the unit itself, I really can't say enough good things. Very clean. Tastefully decorated. Blankets to cuddle up on the couch in to watch TV at night. The bed is comfortable, closet is roomy and it's great to have really good pillows! We're very familiar with Richmond at this point but I am always impressed with Naomi's recommendations. This time, she steered us toward saying hi to a manager at a local restaurant we were dining at (Blue Atlas - wow!! it's so good! make a reservation in advance). Hope to return soon. This is a bit of a homebase for us now!

Really easy and nice spot - stayed for a quick trip passing through Richmond but would definitely stay again. Really cute neighborhood, nice apartment, super easy and accessible!

Thanks again to our hosts! Great space near plenty of great restaurants and shops. Walking distance to grocery stores as well. Easy parking, so you can leave the car for your entire stay and just walk to your desired destination. Will definitely stay here again for our next trip to Richmond!

Great place and great host. I stayed for two weeks and found everything I needed nearby and walkable, from restaurants to the Altria Center where I was performing. Very comfortable place and fast WiFi among other amenities. Would definitely choose to stay here again if I returned to Richmond.

Beautiful tree lined street, with front and back porches to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. A house furnished with a lot of art to appreciate. Convenient to downtown, VCU and a host of amenities. Highly recommend for short and long term stays.

6 women that have known each other since we were 4 yrs old (we are all way over 65+ now) -- grew up together -- lost contact with some and then got back together and decided to go to a Broadway Musical at the Altria Theater to see "A Beautiful Noise" story about Neil Diamond's life -- in Richmond, VA and landed at Mei's place. We were thrilled that we were so close to walk everywhere - to the Theater - places to eat - convenient stores, and just being together for a couple days. Had a great time and will be sure to call Mei when we venture back to Richmond. Thanks for everything !!!
