Wonderful remote location and superbly hosted by Luna who provided delicious breakfasts, catering for the vegetarian amongst us, and provided masses of recommendations for local trips and beaches and food. We loved it. You have to have a vehicle (and ideally one with high clearance) as the drive in, particularly the first time, takes a good 10 minutes on a single track road that at times feels like it is about to peter out. Luna was aware we were arriving and kept in contact throughout to ensure our safe arrival. We swam in the river less than we had expected, largely because every day we spent most of the day out exploring the island (often swimming in waterfalls and rivers elsewhere), but it was a lovely spot.

Mourat, is really a seriously owner... They you' ll help in each trouble you could be... And the place is really warn and plenty of peace in the night....

The Champs is a gorgeous property located high above the hustle and bustle of Portsmouth/Picard. It was a very welcome escape for me and my fiancé. We felt right at home in the peaceful environment of the hotel—it had everything we needed from a comfy bed, air conditioning, delicious breakfast and dinner to drinks, laundry services, and even a refreshing pool. The view was beautiful as well and we enjoyed a few great sunsets from our balcony. We will definitely be back next time we visit Dominica. Special thanks to Lise and her staff who were always friendly and went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

Jennifer was so warm and welcoming. She had soup for us when we arrived and and had the room fully stocked with breakfast and snack foods, as well as beer and wine. She was super responsive and even brought us more bananas and oatmeal during our stay. There was also beer and water available in the common space. We were there over Valentine's Day and she brought us a flower and chocolates. Outside space was available to sit and look out over the city and ocean. We walked downhill to Roseau and the walk back was challenging, but good for working of food and drink.

great place to overnight if you're doing the WNT - segment 13 starts just outside of the village. comfortable space and great morning views, also provided breakfast. recommend to bring your own dinner and food because the village is small and had nothing open to eat when I was there.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez vous. le logement était très propre, l'equipe très réactive et gentille , et le lieu juste magnifique. Une vue à couper le souffle , un coucher de soleil magnifique, la piscine , les équipements tout était très bien entretenu. Le petit plus des lumières dans le jardin la nuit rend le lieu magique. Merci encore !
