We booked the apartment to celebrate a 60th birthday with family. The apartment is beautiful, lots of attention to detail and spacious and very responsive hosts. Lovely views across the canal and the hills. Particularly liked walking along the canal for breakfast and the local pub is only across the road. Loved it so much, we booked to come back again whilst still staying there.

We booked the apartment very last minute as a little getaway. The photos looked great and the apartment did not disappoint. It was spotless. Lots of room and just very very homely. I am recovering from an op and this place was just the tonic. The accommodation and added hot tub were just what I needed. 100% would recommend. Harry was on hand 24/7 and made us feel right at home. Set in a beautiful location with lovely surroundings. I will definitely be visiting again and have recommended to friends and family. Thank you Harry

Loved our stay here! Properly cosy and charming and above all, great location for walks, pubs and restaurants. Centre of town and the new Hepworth Gallery just a short drive away; YSP just a short drive the other way – great attractions! And a pleasure to come back here after a day out. Would certainly book again.

Really enjoyed the long stay in this place. Spotless and pristine. The cooking utensils and cutlery are all perfect, clean and like new. The cleanliness are our main thing and really happy with it.

We had a great stay here exploring the surrounding countryside and seeing some family. Very lovely village you could walk around with a great play park if you have kids. Lovely pubs in the local area and lots of suggestions found in the welcome pack. Very grateful for the extras supplied like some croissants and milk. All the amenities plus extra (shampoo and conditioner in the shower if needed). They were very responsive when we had an issue with the heating on the first night and it was perfect for what we needed. Thanks!

Amy and Oliver - I actually have no words for how amazing this place was! I first put it in my wishlist a long while back and somehow stumbled upon it again to stay for the first time this weekend. My family and I were completely amazed at absolutely everything - every detail and the handiwork you have both put into this place is just immaculate. I’m so grateful I was able to find this place - it was so homely, so clean, absolutely stunning, the most equipped place we’ve stayed in and so much more. My only complaint is that we wish we stayed LONGER! I hope you will continue to keep your home open as it’s an amazing place to stay - we hope to be back (and perhaps with others who haven’t been blessed to see it yet). Thank you for everything you supplied us with this weekend - we were fascinated by everything and we are still talking about the home now that we’re home! What a fabulous gem nestled in the stunning Derbyshire countryside! Wonderful hosts who made us feel right at home, perfectly equipped accommodation and perfect for a stay with the dogs! The enclosed dog paddock was wonderful with enough room for them to run and play safely. The yoga studio was a beautiful place to practice and a real bonus to the stay. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

We stayed at Angus’ place for a little getaway, and it was one of the best breaks we’ve had in a while. The apartment shone for its attention to detail and beautiful interiors, it was well equipped and felt like a home away from home. Loved our stay in Sheffield. Location was perfect - unbelievably quiet as it was so close to restaurants and shops. Easy walk into the centre ( about 1 -1.5 miles) . The apartment was perfect, exactly as described. It had everything we needed , was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Beds were very, very comfy and rooms were spacious. Jermaine was very helpful and responded quickly when we messaged. Would love to return and highly recommend a stay here.

The apartment is as described - cosy, compact and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thought has gone into details - such as nice toiletries in the bathroom and a ‘Struggling to sleep’ box by the bed. Andy, the host, was helpful and easy to contact. One of the most comfortable and professional places I’ve had the pleasure of staying! Debbie was such a thoughtful host and was super helpful in making my journey to the area as smooth as possible. The space featured very nice decor, with all the amenities you would need for a short trip, and you can tell that cleanliness is a priority. Would love to stay again when I’m next visiting the area!

Spent a long weekend walking in the Peak District with my daughter. Richard is an excellent host who responds quickly. The place is as described, clean, quiet and provides everything in terms of kitchen equipment to make our meals during the time we spent there. The property provides everything needed for a home from home stay. There is a large Tesco and CO-OP in Whaley Bridge. We enjoyed walking Stanage Edge, Jacobs Ladder & Kinder Scout. Bugsworth Basin also provided a lovely flat canal side walk on Monday before our return home. Recommend Bridge Bakery in Whaley Bridge for great selection of post walk cakes, and they also have a really good selection of breakfast in a box.
