Wow. The pictures don't do this place justice -- at all. What an extraordinary layout, especially for larger groups who all enjoy a bit of personal space and quiet. There are nooks and spots for everyone and everything, from the awesome pool area to the endless spots to sit and read a book or enjoy some coffee. And Ann! What a gem. She bent over backwards to answer questions and make us feel at home, even providing us with special coffee and food recommendations. I've been using Airbnb for a while now -- and Ann is the #1 host I've ever come across. I mean...she's a joy. Her place, of course, is amazing and you'd be a fool not to stay! 10 Stars!

It was absolutely wonderful staying at Joanne's home. It was very comfortable and loved the outdoor firepit. Very peaceful and lovely home. We would love to come back again for another visit.

We had the most beautiful Thanksgiving gathering at Casey’s Porch on the bay for an extended family reunion. The house is lovely - spacious, gorgeous and cozy at the same time. The views on the water were amazing. There were plenty of beds and ‘hang out’ spots for our tweens and teens, and 3 private baths for the adult couples were much appreciated. And our hosts could not have been more helpful and friendly. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to make more happy memories together!

The area and view are beautiful and the home's decor is welcoming. The home was very comfortable for our family group and had a VERY well-stocked kitchen. The master bed was VERY comfortable as were the rest of the beds. My husband and I slept well. We all felt at home. MJ was very responsive when I had questions and communicated about the property in clear, concise language. The host provided many outdoor recreation opportunities, which included paddleboards, kayaks, and life jackets. There was a nice sized pool but we were visiting out of season so we did not use it. The exercise room downstairs has a lot of equipment. We all enjoyed our time together. Our family is asking to come back again next year. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a lovely Christmas here and it was a lovely neighborhood. Friendly neighbors too they helped us jump our car. Beautiful property on the water.

Absolutely fabulous experience! We stayed during a very low key time (Christmas+) but were able to find lots of fun things to do (shopping in St Michael’s [don’t miss The Blue Heron for the best caffeine], driving tour of Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, etc.). We got incredible photos during sunrise/sunset, safely walked-ran on the neighborhood roads, enjoyed the fire pit, and thoroughly rested and relaxed. So grateful we chose Jon’s home for 5 days/4 nights of R&R ❤️

Beautiful property and wonderful colonial era house. A bit pricey but the grounds and house made it palpable. New dock very solid. Wish there'd be more dock seating but we brought our own. Tree shade around the pool made it outstanding during the sunny heat. Just loved our stay and I can say we'd go back. Will seriously consider next summer, nothing but fond memories now. My biggest complaint is that we didn't have enough days there! 5 minutes to downtown Oxford. Nice big kitchen table for gathering. Outfitted very well be we really didn't use much, just spent most of the time in the surrounding towns and mostly in the pool or on the dock!!

Overall it was great stay. Laura was ready to accommodate my group of 22 ppl and had ample space. It was quiet and private place and we enjoyed the weather a lot. Clean place

The view is incredible and the setting is so peaceful. The kids loved the bunk beds and the master bath with the jacuzzi tub. Phi and Walter were super responsive hosts and responded immediately with help when we shared a few issues. This is a good spot for enjoying Lusby with a group!

Came down for a duck hunting trip! The place was perfect! Very clean and cozy! Hope the owner was very attentive and quick to respond with any questions! If in the area again I will definitely book again!

Second time staying here and you can’t beat the location. If you love being on the water and are looking for a nice escape, this is your place. Colin is a great host too. Highly recommend to everyone !

I had a great stay at Edna's! It was a wonderful place to rest after long work days. Edna asked what temperature we wanted the place and we chose 70 degrees. One of the bedrooms got much warmer than that, and one of the bedrooms was much colder than the target temperature. I know the thermostat was new to them, but that is my only small complaint. Everything else was excellent!

Dale's place was great. After Dale gave us a tour and we went grocery shopping and settled in, we felt calm and peaceful here. There were ample amenities in the home for us to make us comfortable, and we spent our time doing as little as possible - taking in the waterfront views from the deck and the hot tub. We felt sad to leave and appreciated the time to rest and rejuvenate and reflect! We would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay and felt at home within minutes after checking in. Our favorite space was the kitchen. It well stocked with the cookware and utensils we needed. Plenty of towels and hot water for a nice long shower. I’m a remote worker and the WiFi and bandwidth was more than sufficient for my workload. I visit the area regularly and would definitely book again if available.

If you are looking for a peaceful escape, you found it. Although this home can be used for large gatherings, it is also the perfect getaway for 2. My husband and I loved watching the water and the natural wildlife. DO NOT MISS THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE THIS HOUSE!

Bliss on the Bay was truly the perfect getaway! The house was immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and exceeded all of our expectations. The location is peaceful and ideal for a relaxing retreat. Communication with the host was seamless from start to finish – timely, clear, and so helpful. The hostess was incredibly gracious and went out of her way to accommodate us, making sure every detail was just right. We couldn't have asked for a better three-day stay! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene escape on the Western Shore of MD.

We very much enjoyed the views of the river from nearly every room in the house! The furnishings (and linens) are like-new and were perfectly spacious for 4 adults & a baby. We’ll be back for our next remote getaway, we love the peacefulness of the area.

This is my second time staying with Mary Beth at this rental. Both times have been wonderful! She is a great host. Friendly, responsive, knowledgeable with local recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Looking forward to stay again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay in Maggie & James’s quaint and cozy home. The area was quiet and like something out of a book with all the locals and marina and restaurant. Our teens enjoyed playing board games from their childhood even though there were games there for their age group. We were gifted a beautiful loaf of sourdough bread from our hosts. So very thoughtful! If you plan to stay there be sure to check the weather and high tide schedule due to coastal flooding. You’re between the sound and the marshes and low roads can get covered with water. If you’re arriving at night it can be difficult to see where the road ends and the marshy area begins. We enjoyed our stay and our teens want to return when we can have more time sitting out on the beach by the water which is just a few steps from their home.

Lovely home in a beautiful setting. A very cozy, restful winter holiday with great surroundings and beautiful views of the river Host was responsive and home is very well-equipped with an amazing kitchen. We enjoyed walking in the village, relaxing in the den, cooking meals, and playing with our dogs in the fenced yard.

We very much enjoyed our 2 nights at Peaceful Point. We were two families of 4 that came together from Philadelphia and Washington, DC to celebrate a birthday. The house was gorgeous, super clean, well stocked, and indeed Peaceful as the name implies. We enjoyed watching the sun set each night and making s'mores. The weather even cooperated for a little kayaking. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and the games. The views here are amazing and the vibe is relaxing! When not at the house, we enjoyed an excursion to Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad National Historical Park and the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge (these are next to each other). Emily's Produce was a great place to pick up lunch. Highly recommend a stay at this house.

A wonderful home. Outdoor setting was stunning and private. The house was incredibly comfortable and beautifully decorated. We visited for Thanksgiving week, with our grown kids. Kitchen had all the basics and we brought extra items for the special meal. Living and dining spaces were comfy and warm, with lots of entertainment options. Wifi was strong, accommodating several of us working - very appreciated! Bedrooms were very comfy. Master was huge, with gorgeous views of the water. Heat and hot water were plentiful. The instructions & descriptions provided were outstanding. Lastly, we appreciated that the home welcomed pets, complete with dog toys & bed :-). Thank you for a fantastic family vacation.

Beautiful property and location. Private and relaxed community, easy walk to private beach. Short and easy drive to many restaurants, parks, hiking trails, and other local attractions. Cozy and comfortable home; we especially enjoyed taking a nap on the screened porch listening to the waves and wind through the trees. Very helpful and responsive hosts. Looking forward to returning for another visit!
