Our stay in this house was really fantastic! The house itself was amazing and offered incredible tranquility. The hostess is one of the friendliest people we have ever met. Upon arrival we could easily park our car in the driveway of the hostess's house. She was so thoughtful in helping us get our luggage to the vacation house. To get to the house, you walk through a beautiful vineyard. This walk is an experience in itself, the surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful. Once we arrived at the cottage, we were treated to an amazing view of the vineyard. The house itself is cozy and comfortably furnished, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a swimming pool within walking distance of the house, located on a hill. The pool is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and it was wonderful to spend time there with the family. All in all, this house was really a highlight of our first holiday in Portugal. We can recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay!

Die superschöne Anlage ist eine Oase im etwas trubeligen Umfeld der Stadt Vila Real. Ins und ihre Leute sind sehr freundlich und extrem nett, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Jeden Morgen wird frisches Brot ans Haus gebracht, toller Service, auch die tägliche Reinigung des Bungalows ist sehr angenehm. Die Gartenflächen sind sehr gut gepflegt, der Pool wird täglich gereinigt, das Wasser ist superklar und erfrischend. Unser Bungalow war geräumiger als es auf den Bildern aussah und durch die dicken Granitwände auch bei 33 Grad Außentemperatur wunderbar kühl. Die Ausflugstipps sind liebevoll gezeichnet und gut durchdacht. Alles in allem hatten wir zu viert eine wunderbare Woche bei Ines. Vielen Dank!

This place ought to be officially recognized as a national treasure! The house and grounds are full of historic charm and the scenery is spectacular. The farm fresh breakfast was truly impressive and the hospitality was top notch. We stayed for two nights but would have been very happy to have stayed for an entire week if our schedule had allowed for it. Many thanks to the owners for creating such a wonderful guest house and for the warm welcome and great sightseeing tips. It was the highlight of our trip from Canada.

This place is peaceful and surrounded by nature with lots of trees and singing birds, includind the chickens that create an "quinta" atmosphere. The accommodations were clean and cozy, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and caring. I highly recommend this countryside gem for a relaxing escape.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay - and Anabela was incredibly helpful with advice on what to do and where to go and was always ahead of anything we might need - before we even thought of it. We loved the place - it was perfect for our family of 3 adults and one child (10 years). The location was incredible with views across the valley and looking into a peaceful and beautiful yard. Our first day was sunny and we were able to enjoy the big yard, pool and porch, with a wander through town. And when the rain set in the house was still very warm and cozy with the pellet stove, heaters in the main rooms and the hallway - and we were able to enjoy our time inside and soak up the views through the raindrops. Definitely recommend - it was a great price for the incredible service, amazing views and cozy setting. We hope to come back!

Beautiful spot with private pool and lots of space to enjoy the sunshine. Really peaceful location with amazing restaurant attached, which I recommend visiting. Isabel was hugely responsive and incredibly helpful throughout. Highly recommend a visit!

this place is absolute paradise ✨ the millhouse is so cozy…we loved the constant river sounds and watching adorable ducks playing in the water from the many little windows. francisca & henrique are the best hosts, so responsive & sweetly brought us more firewood & firestarter for the woodstove. we had a dinner and two breakfasts there, which they bring on a tray to your door, and we really recommend for the true cozy cottage experience. lovely surroundings, cozy accommodations…this place is absolute perfection.

We huurden de ruimte om in Portugal met het managementteam in alle rust te kunnen werken, en toch ook alle ruimte te hebben om ons - indien wenselijk - individueel terug te trekken. Het was perfect. De ligging, de enorme ruimte, de faciliteiten, de communicatie met Rita, de ontvangst, de gigantische grote tafel, de goed geoutilleerde keuken. Niets dan lof! We komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Casa muito acolhedora e com tudo o que é preciso para passar uns dias em família ou com amigos. Recomendo totalmente.

Unser Urlaub im Zitronen-Bungalow von Jorge war einfach traumhaft. Die idyllische Natur, die erfrischenden Zitronen und die niedlichen Ponys sorgten für eine gemütliche Atmosphäre – ideal, um zu entspannen und wertvolle Zeit zu zweit zu verbringen. Die Unterkunft ließ keine Wünsche offen: Ob Kaffee, Gewürze oder sogar ein Beamer – alles war vorhanden und leicht zu finden. Jorge hat immer sehr schnell und freundlich geantwortet. Für die Anreise, Einkäufe und Ausflüge empfehlen wir, einen Mietwagen zu nehmen. Wir können dieses kleine Paradies, insbesondere für Paare, weiterempfehlen.

Foi a segunda vez que escolhemos este espaço e foi excelente! Sentimo-nos em casa! Usufruir de tanta natureza e animais, da calma e do conforto! É sem dúvida um local muito bom para descansar e para bons momentos sozinha ou em família! De certeza que iremos voltar! E a Susana é muito simpática e prestável! Gostámos muito!

Espaço fenomenal e anfitriões bastante simpáticos. Foi pena não termos acesso à piscina, mas foi uma pequena lacuna que em nada afetou a experiência. No check in apenas falhou não conseguir estabelecer contacto imediato, mas ligaram após um tempo o que também não causou constrangimentos. Vista lindíssima e muito acolhedor. Certamente voltarei

Vi boede hos Annette og hendes mands i deres pragtfulde lejlighed i 4 dage. Lejligheden ligger med en fantastisk udsigt over området. En skøn terrasse og et andet lille område foran lejligheden hvor man kan nyde udsigten. Lejligheden er i to etager med alt hvad man skal bruge. Velinrettet og veludstyret køkken. Parkering lige foran stedt. Høj kvalitet. Annette er let at komme i kontakt med og hjælpsom og meget venlig.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la Casa Eira. Le logement correspondait parfaitement aux photos. L'environnement est calme et paisible. Idéal pour déconnecter et se reposer. Nous avons adoré. Les propriétaires sont très réactifs et viennent en aide au moindre souci. Nous recommandons et nous reviendrons.

We absolutely loved staying here. Ricardo was super friendly and helpful. Quinta Freiera is a stunning farm with loads of grape vines, lemon trees, orange trees, passion fruit, etc. It was so special to stay in a house that has been in his family for over 200 years. I highly recommend this quinta!

Passámos um fim de semana incrível na Quinta. Fomos para uma despedida de solteira mais caseira e tínhamos exatamente o que precisávamos à nossa disposição: espaço, jogos, conforto. O facto de os quartos serem num edifício diferente das salas/cozinha ajudou muito! Vamos voltar no verão para aproveitar a piscina de certeza! Um obrigada especial ao Pedro por toda a simpatia e flexibilidade com os nossos planos!

We loved staying here and would like to again! The house was just as described and within walking distance to local grocery stores and restaurants. I loved waking up to see the beautiful fog roll in over the mountains and a herd of sheep doing their morning grazing. When it rains you can see the river from the balcony and it creates a relaxing sound. We also enjoyed getting cozy in front of the fireplace at night. More than anything, we appreciated António’s mother, who was very sweet and brought us pastries and chocolates. António was very kind and answered any questions we had right away. His father was nice as well! The cleaning service after two weeks was also a lovely touch. This place is a perfect getaway if you are looking to de-stress and be near nature and friendly people. The only thing I will note is if you are coming in winter it can be a bit cold (not surprising-it is winter!) so bring some warmer comfort clothes to wear around the house.

Amazing stay in the mist beautiful location in Portugal. Great stay for a family looking for a relaxing time in a remarkable setting.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit bei Eusébio. Der wunderschöne Garten mit Pool ist super zum entspannen. Es gibt einen direkten Zugang zum Fluss, der am Anwesen vorbeifließt. Hier kann man mit dem Tretboot oder Standup paddle-Board fahren (kann man sich vor Ort ausleihen). Eusébio ist seh nett und hilfsbereit!
