Had a great stay at Carols! We loved meeting the horses and Carol’s sweet dog. The home was cozy and perfect for the snowy weekend we stayed. Would love to return!

This was our first time in Maine, definitely worth it! The host was amazing and replied as soon as the message was sent. The house was clean, plenty of entertainment and a lot of places from 5-10 minutes away. I would 100% recommend and be back.

We loved our stay at Jason’s place! We had 10 total people staying for Labor Day weekend - 7 adults, 3 kids and a dog. We all had plenty of room, the house was gorgeous - especially the kitchen and living room! We used the pool, the lake (kayaks and canoes - lots of life jackets to choose from), the basketball court and were so thankful for the option to rent the pontoon boat! My son had a great time fishing. The neighborhood is very quiet. We also had fun checking out nearby antique shops one morning & going into Bangor one evening for dinner. We will be back!

A nice rustic, peaceful getaway for our crew at the end of a long day. We appreciated the space and the surrounding greenery of Maine!

I unfortunately missed a flight & had the great chance of entering an amazing home that felt like a home. Honestly if your coming to Bangor & your thinking of some fancy hotel or this location. I'd say choose this location everytime!

We had a great stay at Olivia’s place. This home is located in a very peaceful area! Lots of space for guest with multiple cars and the backyard was huge (it rained during our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy much of the backyard). The home is exactly as it’s described, plenty of room for a family with kiddos and some extras! She has a TON of children activities along with infant items such as a crib, rocker, highchair- I think I even spotted some diapers which is very thoughtful. As a fellow Airbnb host I often pick up on little tidbits that most guest wouldn’t, but not in this case. Olivia has been very thoughtful with decorating and amenities. I would highly recommend staying here!

I booked this winter stay for my husband's birthday weekend. I had hopes of us relaxing at a little getaway and adding some ice fishing for the guys. I could not have been more pleased, the guys walked out the downstairs door right onto the ice, the ladies were inside with the fireplace on doing crafts and simmering soups. The house was so clean, tidy and welcoming, just like I like my house to be for guests. We were all very comfortable and had plenty of room. You could easily come to Brian and Lois's home, with a small bag of clothes, personal items and food. You really need to think of nothing else, it's all there and more. We stayed at Amber's for the night before and after the eclipse, and it was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was a great atmosphere to hang out with the two other couples who came with us. We ate at Patrick's pub the first night and folks told us where some good viewing spots for the eclipse would be. We ate in the second night and spent lots of time around the kitchen table. As someone else mentioned, the slatted louvered doors on the bathrooms are a bit different, but it worked out ok for us. Amber was great with communication.

Lots of space for our family to hangout together. Very comfortable king sized bed. Loved being able to drive just a few miles to skiing and walk to shops.

We had a lovely time at Ellen‘s home with four adults and two kids enjoying a last few days of summer vacation. Our family enjoyed using the paddleboard and canoes to spend time on the water. The beach was perfect for swimming too. We also loved the walking paths along the pond and all of the benches and picnic spots. Having all of the games and roomy indoor space was very helpful on a rainy morning. Ellen left many helpful instructions. Thank you and we hope to return again!

CLEAN! Just like photos. Spartan but has what you need. Visited in December and heat was excellent!

Chris was very communicative from the beginning. Very peaceful and quiet place. Overall, our experience was amazing. We highly recommend Chris and his place, if you want to have great gateway.

Excellent communication and very convenient for snowmobiling and ice fishing Moosehead. It was very spacious with some additional comforts! Loved the hot tub. We will be staying again next year!

Power went out during a big wind storm and Jesse was helpful in finding out when we might expect to get power back. Stove was incredible! Beautiful home with a neat story

It's a great house with thoughtful touches like snacks, motion-sensitive lights under a kitchen cabinet for navigating at night, and windows blinds that automatically open slowly. The recliner built into the sofa is quite comfortable (I dozed off in it :-). The place is in a quiet neighborhood and conveniently located near the bike path, so I could walk to the university. I could also walk to the nearby grocery store. I would definitely stay here again.

Definitely a wonderful place to stay for a family! We had tons of fun playing, cooking, and relaxing. We shared the space with our friends and their kids and this Airbnb was PERFECT for kiddos. Christina graciously left out toys for the littles, which they loved! This is a primary residence, which is different from my previous airbnb status, but the host was upfront about that and the spaces were still clean and welcoming to guests.

We stayed for 10 days while working in our cabin! We felt right at home, enjoyed all of the amenities, and would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay. The location is great - right on the lake. We got the bonus of seeing the aurora lights over the lake! What a great experience!
