Great family friendly location. Kids loved the game room. Clean and comfortable with a responsive host.

This home was super cozy for my big family. Everything was clean, comfortable, and the way it is set up makes you feel right at home. This home had everything we needed. TV’s, kitchen items, recommendations, and even fun family games and activities to do. Every time I visit the area I’ll be checking to see if it’s available. 10/10

Great place to stay, Tim was always responsive and helpful. Only downside was the construction work ongoing directly outback with this neighborhood being built.

This home was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I was looking for a large backyard to allow my dogs to run in while I stayed there. The yard is probably 3/4 of an acre and was excellent for the dogs. The driveway even extends beyond the privacy gate where you can pull your car right into it and let the dogs right out. It was perfect for loading the guys up early in the morning and letting them out late at night. I double checked the fence and she definitely reinforced a lot of it. There’s chicken wire on the bottom so the dogs can’t dig underneath it. The home itself is absolutely beautiful with a king size bed in the main bedroom, which has a window right to the backyard. It’s exactly what I needed for my 10 day stay Liz was also super responsive and super helpful for any questions that I had. I’m definitely gonna be able to stay here again.

Absolutely loved staying here. Tom was an awesome host. He has very detailed instructions throughout the house for everything from connecting to the WiFi to how the individual tvs work. The couch in the living room is stupid comfortable and the master bedroom was cool and dark. 10/10 would stay here again

My wife and I loved the place. The wooded surroundings in the backyard with the stream running through or breathtaking. We would see on average anywhere from 15 to 20 deer every day. The house was even better than what the picture show. I never had to worry about being able to reach the owner. She was always accommodating and even offered us the opportunity to stay longer knowing that we were doing a longer-term, but we had already made arrangements to go somewhere else and couldn’t get out of it or we would’ve taken it.

The Iklektik House is an absolute gem! Everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay, just enough space for two in a bright, clean, and cozy space with tons of charming little historic details and charm, while still perfectly accomodating for a modern stay. The neighborhood was fantastic with lots to do and see, and we much appreciated the amenities Mindy and Tony offer in their clean and welcoming space (coffee! Plenty of fresh linens and we could have cooked a meal if we had more time) Parking on the street was always easy but we ended up walking a lot since there are so many shops and places to eat in the neighborhood. 11/10 - would absolutely book again!

A great location for spending time downtown with easy access to other part of the Chicago suburbs. The space was secure, well decorated, quiet, and had a lot of outdoor areas as well. The host was very communicative and helpful. Would recommend!

I was in town working construction and stayed here a couple of nights and the place was perfect. It is super quiet. Awesome to have parking in the back so you don't have to fight the traffic on the street. Really enjoyed my stay

This was a beautiful place with an excellent view of Lake Michigan. Both rooms had comfortable beds and setup with everything you need. Kitchen is well stocked, but we mostly ordered Grub Hub, lol. Loved spending time here and great place to hangout and chat with friends. It is right on the water and we really enjoyed watching the waves crash against the barrier. It is on the 2nd floor, but the stairs are not bad at all. Felt very safe and having the parking space is a great perk. Very commutative and checked in with us to make sure everything was fine. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Airbnb, huge and beautiful just perfect for my family’s visit to Northwestern. The apartment exceeded my expectations and had every amenity possible. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Marissa's place is a short walking distance from several coffeeshops, restaurants, and bars. Easy to get to from the blue line. The place was nice and spacious. I would stay here again. Thanks!

Absolutely loved staying at Sylvia's! The camper is very conveniently located within the park - close to all the amenities and activities! Easy to access, beautiful grounds and a very peaceful stay for my family and I.

A nice quiet calm getaway perfect for friends or family

Beautiful place to camp with the kids. I loved how friendly the staff and other campers were. It was so nice to be able to see the park, jump pad and activities from the porch of our cabin. An amazing way to camp with kids and have peace and tranquility close to home.

Super comfy beds. Gorgeous surroundings. Cathy communicated right away to answer my questions. This is a great place for groups. My husband and I go to bed earlier than our adult children so they were able to hang out in the basement and not keep us awake. Lots of games and just such a beautiful place to relax!

This place was amazing and it was just getting ready for the change of seasons so the outside continued to get beautiful each day we were there. We saw deer every day and staff was very responsive. You get everything in the idea of a rustic stay but with modernized touches. Highly recommend seeing it for yourself.

WOW ! Deer Run Lodge, what a Gem! The Hosts; Miriam & Kenneth really thought of everything when creating this space! The kitchen is stocked with just about anything you could possibly need. Everything was EXCEPTIONALLY clean and well kept. A perfect mix of cozy to modern- you’ll feel right at home the moment you walk in the door! I wish I took a few minutes at arrival to check out the House rules booklet. Even Though the hosts were incredibly responsive, there is an explanation or “how to” QR code for just about everything right at your fingertips! The exterior of the home is equally equipped and well kept! The HotTub was set up and ready for use upon arrival! Whether your visiting Deer Run Lodge in the winter, spring or summer this property has just about anything you’ll want or need to enjoy your stay!! Thank you Miriam & Kenneth for helping me make my daughter’s birthday one she’ll never forget!

We recently stayed at the KOA Campground Northwest Chicago as a traveling family of three (plus a small dog), and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, Sylvia and her wonderful staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Their kindness, attentiveness, and warm hospitality truly made our stay special. The campground itself is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the picnic areas and the calm, family-friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We cherished every minute of our time here and are already looking forward to coming back. Beth is a fantastic host and we loved the barn! It is spacious and perfect for relaxing. We are a family of 6 and there was plenty of room leftover. A wonderful place to relax and unwind. And the kids had a blast with the ping pong table and board games! We would definitely stay there again!
