The stay was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of the pond. The cabin stayed very warm and the showers water temp was on point. We didn’t use the hot tube but it did look off to the pond which was special. The loft bed was not as comfy as the downstairs bed, but that was no big deal. Overall nice stay with nice amenities.

Great escape for the weekend! My kids and I enjoyed our time playing in the snow, hot tub was awesome and the cabin was very relaxing and peaceful to be at. We had everything we needed and some. Highly recommend! :)

I really enjoyed staying in Matt’s cabin with my wife, niece, nephew, cousin, and our dog. It was a cozy place with a ton of character. The location was great for us as it is much closer to the Bay than some Tahoe spots, and the cabin is in a quiet area with great sledding nearby. Would love to return!

Wade's cabin was the best home we could have asked for a fun weekend for a group of eight. The coziness of this house is unmatched with a lovely couch that could fit all of us on it. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked so we could cook whatever we wanted to, and the house had everything we needed. Wade was also very responsive in answering any questions we had, and he was especially accommodating when he heard about our group and trip. Thank you Wade!

Our extended family stayed through the Christmas holidays. The space was perfect for our multiage group to have together and private time. The kitchen was very well set up and easy for multiple cooks to work together. Our hostess was incredibly thoughtful going extra miles to do things like get us a permit so we could cut a tree on the national forest, decorating the house beautifully, and leaving wonderful gifts for the children. The house is packed with family games and puzzles and a has hot tub. The forest setting is beautiful and quiet. I can't recommend this place more highly for family or friend groups to enjoy some time together.

Wonderful place to stay close. My daughter and I had an amazing weekend, and loved that it was only a 9 minute drive from Sugar Bowl. The house has a great fully stocked kitchen. Jennifer was very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay again!

Super charming cabin close to everything in Truckee and a short drive to Northstar or Pallisades or Alpine Meadows slopes! We would've stayed longer if we could. A great place for a ski getaway!

Excellent Airbnb. Highly recommend. I think this was my 6th time staying here. Keep coming back for friendly and responsive hosts, quiet surroundings, great views, clean and comfortable furnishings, proximity to lots of activities, thoughtful touches and reasonable pricing.

I've stayed at a few places and this was by far the most clean and cozy of our stays! Jane's co-host, Denise, was very responsive, kind and friendly and was there to answer any questions we had. This home is absolutely beautiful. There has obviously been a lot of thought put into the decor, theme, and comfort of the home. We felt so comfortable and cozy! There was a fire pit and grill with ample seating facing the river that ran behind the home. There was a cozy and easy to function fireplace that added the cherry on top to a comfy evening inside. A lot of little touches throughout the home that really brought everything together and gave you a cabin feel with plenty of amenities. We enjoyed my husband and son's birthday in the snow (15 mins up the road) and came home to a beautiful view and grilled outside and ate together. Honestly pictures don't do this place justice. We will be back! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Great spot for a long weekend with a few kids. The house is lovely. Great kitchen to cook for a big group and plenty of space for everyone to explore outside and along the creek!

What a beautiful place to stay and Kristine was such a thoughtful host. I wish I could live somewhere this peaceful and beautiful. Really, I would go back just for the hot tub and views alone, but such a tastefully decorated house is a pretty great bonus. Loved it!

This is one of our happy places. We'll be back as many times as Pete & Sonia will have us! The cabin is clean & comfortable. The location is fantastic: close to the lake and open space right out the backdoor. Pete is also incredibly responsive, welcoming, and kind.

The moment you walk into the Airbnb you can tell that the hosts were thoughtful in creating an aesthetically pleasing spot. It's very quaint and perfect for relaxing outside and enjoying the spa amenities. The outdoor sauna, bath, and table w/ a firepit worked great and were all VERY enjoyable. They are new hosts and they are working out the kinks, but I don't foresee this being an ongoing issue. The hosts are very attentive and open to feedback. The spot is close to Nevada City and has great foot spots. Overall, very pleased!!

This cabin is awesome. The peaceful wooded surroundings are great, the fireplace is nice and comfy, and there’s plenty to do inside the cabin.

We had a great time at this cabin! It was absolutely beautiful. First night there was hardly any snow and the second night it was snowing all day and was an absolute winter wonderland. I highly appreciate the snow plow on the road to get us safely back to highway 80. Friendly neighbors too, hi Randy!

This was a great spot for our group’s quick weekend ski trip! We loved how comfortable, spacious, and convenient Ryan's place was for our annual Tahoe getaway. Ryan and Jackie were both easy to communicate with, and check-in was a breeze. The space was clean, well-organized, and overall a fantastic place to stay. One thing to note is that the downstairs area can get quite cold due to its size, so the heating doesn’t fully reach every corner—I’d recommend packing extra layers during the winter. But overall, we had an amazing time!

Me and my kids loved staying here. For our first mini vacation, this place made it perfect. It’s so cozy and quiet. Great place to get away from life.. and just relax and enjoy. Thank you so much for trusting us with your place.
