we LOVED staying here! Very beautiful home in a very beautiful neighborhood. Great amount of space with plenty of beds. The setup of the house was really cool. Very Chicago like. The neighborhood was gorgeous and we could walk to our brunch location. Parking is not included, but our host recommended a couple of places on a parking app which we used. It wasn't horrible but it definitely could have been cleaned better. There was old urine on the upstairs toilet seat and on the outside of the toilet. Lots of dust on the fan in the upstairs bedroom, and the kitchen counters felt like they had been barely wiped down. That being said, I easily cleaned the toilet and everything else was tolerable. We had fun here! Perfect for a girl's get together! Thanks for having us!

We really enjoyed our stay. Lakesha was very friendly & responded promptly to any questions that we had. She gave us great suggestions on places to visit & things to eat. She even sent up a bottle of wine for my boyfriend's birthday. Very thoughtful & pleasant! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone :)

Work great for us and 2 children. Plenty of space and easy access. Parking was not an issue at all, either out front on W. North Ave or on Bell Ave (free). Train station was a short walk to the blue line into Chicago. Close to family so we'd stay here again for ease of access to blue-line, airport, parking, etc. Bedrooms were also quite and we did not hear any noise from the streets.

Sheena is a phenomenal host! First the inside of the home is beautiful and very clean. The downstairs was very spacious with a full bathroom office/gym, cinema, and concessions. She provided many amenities like an array of coffees, creamers, and teas. We love to cook and Sheena provides seasonings and cooking oils that saved us a bunch since we didn’t have to purchase our own. Our checkin was a bit delayed, Sheena was accommodating and gave us a later checkout. We also had a few concerns but Sheena was very responsive and accommodating! She resolved all of our issues very quickly, I would stay at any properties she owns. 100% recommended!

I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible downtown Airbnb, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the breathtaking views. The large windows in the living room offer a panoramic look at the city skyline, and I could spend hours just gazing out at the lights at night and the lively streets during the day. The space itself is just as impressive—stylishly designed with a perfect balance of modern amenities and cozy touches. The furniture was comfortable, and everything from the kitchen to the bathroom was spotless. It’s clear the host put a lot of thought into the details, from the plush linens to the high-quality appliances. I loved the host they were so nice and kind and I will be back soon !

Susy’s Place was a 10/10 location downtown Glen Ellyn. It was clean, convenient, and easy to access. My husband was beyond thrilled that the local hot dog cart was just outside our door and open in November- he even made me a vegetarian version for $1.50 less! Susy emphasized how noisy the front bedroom would be, but having sat there with a train going by, it wasn’t bad at all! That being said, the “School of Rock” next-door would be difficult if one needed a midday nap. Not so much due to volume but rather due to the underlying bass- I assumed it was a bar until our local friends helped me pinpoint the issue! 😆 We had an excellent time and will absolutely return to Susy’s Place.

Kathy’s place is exactly as advertised. It’s a beautiful unit, beautifully decorated, with plenty of space for relaxing. The kitchen is excellent - it’s a great place to spend the morning. But there are also any number of excellent coffee shops and cafes less than a 10-minute walk away, and it’s a beautiful neighborhood to walk through. Kathy is responsive and friendly, and goes out of her way to make sure things are right. This is our second time with her and I sure hope there will be a third before long.

It was the BEST! The children had an amazing time! They loved the movie room and the arcade, the space was great, the seasoning options in the kitchen were perfect for cooking, the street was nice and quiet! We will definitely book again for our trip to chicago.

The property was very nice. It was well maintained and our family with our grandson were very comfortable. If we were to have a negative comment is that the heat distribution was not even throughout the home. The upstairs where the three bedrooms were located was very warm and the kitchen, living room and family were quite chilly. However, this did not impede us having a comfortable stay.

Went with two other couples for a weekend in Chicago and Austin's place was perfect. His responsiveness might be the best I've had--was super friendly and very timely. I was in charge of finding lodging for picky travelers and everyone loved it! The place was super clean, in a great neighborhood that's walking friendly. It was too cold for us to sit outside, but the backyard would be a great gathering spot in warmer weather. Cute little coffee shop about 300 feet away and restaurants just blocks away. Highly recommend.

I've stayed in a lot of Airbnb's, & dont even have words to describe how much i loved staying here. Two friends & i were in town for a wedding & looking for someplace warm, relaxing, and away from all of the commotion. We could not possibly have chosen better. The house had everything we needed, & was so beautifully decorated -- the pictures do not do it justice. The only thing more lovely than the house was the garden -- it is this perfect little Eden. Gleatha was helpful, flexible, responded at once to questions, and checked in a couple of times, which was so much appreciated. I seriously wanted her to be my best friend by the end of the trip. We did not have time to explore the neighborhood, but the parts we did see were safe and lovely. Also much closer to downtown than we expected. This is not a house to which i would bring small children, as some of the decor is fragile. For everyone else, you would be fortunate indeed to stay here. Thank you again, Gleatha.

This is our 2nd time in a year that we stayed at Kelly’s. We were here in the summer & enjoyed the lovely deck. At Christmas we especially enjoyed the gathering spaces on the 1st floor & projection room downstairs!

Everything worked out well. Easy walk to Wrigley Field. Finicky locks, but that probably has more to do with the operator and not the equipment.

It’s clear Francis wants the experience to be fun and it is. Cool extras with the Polaroids, Christmas tree, projector in the BR… nice balcony with a view.

Great studio apartment with very friendly neighbors in a great neighborhood with amazing restaurants. Walking distance to Andersonville, a neighborhood with antique book stores, oddity shops, enough to keep you busy all day. Perfect location. I will stay there again.
