We had a wonderful week long stay to spend Thanksgiving with our college aged daughter whose work schedule didn't allow foe her to travel home. The Daly house was conveniently located and served our needs well.

Veena is a great host, she responded quickly and was very helpful. The home was clean and neat and had everything we needed. This home can accommodate a large group easily, with 7 adults it didn’t feel like we were ever fighting for space. We stayed during the Des Moines marathon. Between the deck space, the spacious upstairs, and the living spaces there was more than enough room to come together or separate and relax. The house is located just outside of downtown and there is a grocery store close by. We were fortunate to be able to eat home cooked meals for most of our time there thanks to all of the amenities. We brought a propane tank to use the grill one night and cooked up many meals in advance. This is a great choice for families or groups!

We stayed here over Christmas to be closer to family. The host was so kind to put up a small Christmas tree for us and had an activity set out for the kids. The home was clean, nicely decorated but not cluttered so we had plenty of room to unpack and settle in. The kids loved the air hockey and foosball table in the basement and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. We will definitely stay here again.

We rented the house for my grand daughters second birthday so all of the family could be together while going to the zoo and botanical gardens. The house was perfectly set up for toddlers in the space downstairs while also having a great set up for our older children and us adults. Hanchaltuu was amazing and I will definitely be using her again if I need to stay in Des Moines for any reason.

Listing matched the description. We had a bit of trouble figuring out the door lock at first, but once we had it figured out, it was easy to use. David recommended the Waveband Cafe to us, which is right across the street. Highly recommend for a tasty breakfast!

What a beautiful welcoming home. This place was fantastic! The location was ideal and everything we needed to have the best Thanksgiving. We loved all of the space and privacy this lot had and the dogs loved it too! I come across a lot of places that seem to be missing the necessities you need for a comfortable stay, but this place has everything you could ever need. Thank you all for being great hosts!

Stayed a week for the State Fair. Very clean, well stocked and mostly new/renovated. Beds were comfy. One was considerably low to the floor, about 8”, a little tuff getting up & down. The driveway and street is narrow. Neighbors parked on street made backing out difficult with large truck. Disappointed with the screened in back patio. It was uncharacteristically dirty with leaves and debris. Washer & dryer in basement, well lit and very clean. WiFi worked great. Plenty of hot water. We would stay again.

Great place to stay! Highly recommend. It has everything I needed + more. There was a few glitch things that happened that Josiah addressed right away making it as smooth as possible. Thank you! Would stay here again.

I would recommend a coffeemaker available to your guests. We ate out but ability to make coffee in the morning would have been nice.

Great location...close to food, shopping and the RecPlex. Townhouse was immaculate and exactly like the pictures. Quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend! Place was overall clean and spacious. Kitchen was stocked with all the basic cooking supplies we’d need. Location felt safe and quiet. Only downsides - they were out of some of the listed amenities (shampoo/conditioner/body wash) and the bath mat was wet/dirty when we arrived. Check in/check out process was easy.

Second visit was just as great as the first! Great place! Josiah was helpful with anything we needed during our stay. Hope to visit again in the future!

Amy’s place is a gem of a bungalow! We walked in to a spotless home filled with welcoming note, a basket of dog goodies to use while we were there, and well stocked human treats as well! The cozy, warm and tasteful Iowa State Fair inspired theme has so many surprising touches. From the well curated book shelf, to the bin of kids activities, the body bath, shampoo and conditioner, she thought of absolutely everything. We appreciated the abundance of fluffy towels including bath sheets, the numerous throw blankets, and comfortable mattress and pillows. You truly need to bring nothing. The home has a modern farmhouse feel to it, including an adorable game shed in the back yard with a table and games. Our dogs appreciated the fenced in back yard, & treats. Aly, clearly a dog mom, welcomes furry friends. She also has the cutest guest book for humans AND a separate one for your pets with recommendations and even dog sitting. 3 TV’s and fans all clearly labeled for use were great! Love

Loved this place! So cozy and felt right at home. Comfy beds, cozy spaces to hang out and a stacked kitchen! We will be back!!

Jane's place was a great place to rest for the night on the way down south. It was clean and homey. She had an array of books, movies, and games. For those staying longer, it is a nice touch. It was easy to find and not far from the interstate for when we had to get back on the road. I would recommend Jane's place.

Stay was nice for what we needed - a place for six people to sleep for the night so we did not use kitchen. Master bathroom was cold and did not have much space to move around in but shower in that bathroom was good. Overall nice place for us to stay

We loved staying here. Derek was flexible responsive and kind. The place was clean, lovely and full of peace and light. We stayed for a couple of weeks during a remodel and had everything we needed. Nice washer and dryer. Comfortable lovely location with in walking distance of the Valley Junction historic district. Would definitely stay again.

This place is perfect if you’re traveling with little ones. The basement and playroom options to keep kiddos busy are wonderful!
