As a single girl traveling alone, I’m always worried about safety. I felt very safe here, it was cozy and welcoming. It’s on a side road so it’s pretty quiet! The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. Very responsive if you have any questions. Would definitely stay again!

Solid spot in a great location! The room was very nice and clean, with the decor being up to date and modern. The hallways have several Ring cameras too which is a safety bonus. I love the location — several good restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms are in the basement so you don’t really have a view but that didn’t bother us at all since most of our time was spent exploring! Would stay here again!

I stayed for a month. My time here was comfortable and relaxed. Nicole and Santiago went above and beyond in terms of communication and fixing anything that was out of place in the house. They overnighted a new coffee pot, laundry basket, and cutting board when things were missing. They allowed me to bring my dog, and went as far as to have water/food bowls for her and a personalized towel to clean her paws. The house has central air and heat which was awesome during winter. Covered garage that opens via an app. Beds are comfortable and free laundry in the basement. You share the house with someone downstairs, but I never had any noise issues! I was able to sleep post night shift without waking up once. Cute, comfortable, and peaceful neighborhood to stay. Close to coffee shops and workout classes nearby. Great hosts, thank you so much for having me!

Brittany and Joe are the best hosts! Extremely nice, thoughtful, and had excellent communication. The property has everything you need and is very clean. The view of the river was beautiful especially during snowfall. Access to Battle Creek was super easy and we had no trouble making it to Kellogg Arena in under 30 mins. There are plenty of nearby stores, we did Walmart pickup for groceries and two close Dollar General locations. There is also Pizza Hut for delivery and a variety of typical fast food options. I’m so thankful we found Thornapple River Retreat for our trip for this year’s Winter Classic Invitational gymnastics meet.

We loved this location in east town, right next to one of my favorite breweries - Brewery Vivant. The apartment was clean, the beds were super comfortable and the shower was glorious! The outdoor balcony/deck is nice too, especially in the warmer temps. Troy was always friendly and quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again.

Very good location; only about 10 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. Right on the edge of town as well. House was very clean and just like the photos! Definitely recommend!

The air bnb is even better in person than in photos. such an incredible space and definitely worth the stay. It’s located in a great area, tons of shops and restaurants in walking distance as well as so many games to choose from (board games, shuffle board, x’s and o’s etc). would definitely come back again and highly recommend!

José is kind and his place is cozy. It's a peaceful, clean apartment. I appreciated the spotless bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms, tv availability, and coffee options.

Great place to stay with a large group! So much space to spread out. And the game room on the third floor was AMAZING! We had so much fun hanging out up there, playing games and pool. The kids loved it! We definitely want to stay there again!

I felt right at home. Everything that I planned on doing was honestly not more than 15 minutes from the place. It was perfect. It didn't feel like just another room of the house, but they genuinely put in effort to making the room for AirBnb so it made me and my friend feel super comfortable and like we had some privacy. And everything was super clean. It was all super accessable and easy, you could go in and out whenever, and they kept the lights on at night and that allowed us to traverse through the house easily as well. The way to the basement was also super easy to find. I would definitely recommend this place to others and I would definitely stay there again!

They say Jennifer is an Airbnb super host… they are so wrong! Jennifer is a SUPER DOOPER hostess!! From the moment I stepped into the place, I was pleasantly surprised!! Modern decor. Immaculately clean . So very comfortable! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The Host was very responsive to our questions and timely. We loved the condo and will stay there again if the opportunity is needed.

We had an amazing weekend in Grand Rapids and enjoyed staying in the Heritage Hill neighborhood. Kim and Paul were very responsive and helpful with our questions. They were kind enough to grant our request for a late check out, which was awesome! We definitely would stay there again!

Nice place! Bed is much more comfy than the picture alludes :) having parking off the street was nice too.

The place was wonderful! We brought our infant son and we were provided with a pack and play already set up in the room. So thankful. It was so clean and tidy and the instructions were easy for check in and out.

Travis and Stephan’s place is the most comfortable Airbnb we’ve stayed in. The others have all been good, but we’ve never stayed in a place that has been so thoughtfully decorated or well stocked. Perhaps it would not seem out of the ordinary to others, but to us, the decor was tasteful with the classics art reproductions, the books of a variety that we were able to find ones we enjoyed, the toiletries in the bathroom plentiful, and the family games and activities appealed to multiple age groups. The hosts went above and beyond expectations. We’d stay here again!

Space was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. My son loved the bunk beds. The neighborhood is adorable and very walkable. And the bakery downstairs has absolutely delicious cinnamon rolls.

Jeff and Kelly's place is an excellent set up with a comfortable open kitchen / living area, a comfortable bedroom, lots of closet space and two full bathrooms plus an office with a convertible sofa. It is nicely appointed, not cluttered, and spotless. Importantly, they thought of everything one might need and ensured amenities large and small are available. Finally, they are excellent communicators and very flexible.

Great, quiet place and a wonderful neighborhood. Jill & Tim were very friendly and helpful as far as the history of the house and the neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this studio to others.

Some airbnbs are just good enough with random and bland or castoff items. This one was the exact opposite - it felt SPECIAL. Awesome vibes here. Everything was thoughtfully curated right down to the paint color choices and original art all over. This place has PERSONALITY. My husband, daughter and I slept well and felt very cozy here. We loved the character of the historic home and the proximity to everything.

Steven's place was the perfect location for walking and biking - beautiful paved 82 mile bike trail runs right through the village - I used it often! Nice washer and dryer and kitchen appliances. Nice silverware, dishes, pans...linens were great. Well-stocked with paper towels and toilet paper and bath gel, shampoo and creme rinse, hairdryer...everythinbg you could need. The house was spacious. I would only suggest some fresh paint in the kitchen and some new porch cushions. Otherwise it was perfect!

We had such an amazing time. Beautiful location, peaceful and perfect for gateway. Will definitely be back! Highly recommended and so worth it!
