The home was exactly as pictured, clean , and comfortable. The hosts were accommodating. We booked less than a week before we needed it and they treated us as if we’d been planning for months. The neighborhood was quite and the back deck was great to get some alone time away from the other guests.

This is a great house in Church Hill. It is a beautiful historic home with a comfortable homey feel. The lower level is large with plenty of room to visit, cook and entertain. The upstairs has three large bedrooms and two full baths. The location is close to some nice restaurants and coffee places. The neighborhood is great for walking. The host was helpful and very responsive - will rent this place again when I'm in Richmond if its available.

Samantha’s place is perfect for families with kids - we have family in Richmond and needed a place to stay nearby. The house was clean and thoughtfully decorated and furnished and had everything we needed, and Samantha was proactive in checking on how things were going and if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend her place!

Crystal’s house was everything we expected it to be, neat, clean and a little on the funky side. We were in town for a wedding and had our two children, their spouses and five grandchildren, all under 10. It was really nice to have a yard the kids could play in so they could burn off some energy. We would definitely recommend Crystal‘s house to friends.

Elisa was helpful & responsive right from the start. Her home was easy to find & in a wonderful, walkable neighborhood with everything you could ask for. It was a delightful experience & we look forward to future stays as our travel allows. Thank you for your part in making a great weekend!

This was our second stay at this house - very comfortable and convenient to all of the things to do in the Richmond area. Very nice, quiet, peaceful neighborhood. It will be our go to place to stay when visiting Richmond. Claude is an excellent host.

The Hermitage on the Hill was the peaceful and warm and inviting home our family needed. A great place to meet for spiritual rejuvenation. Jennie Ray was a superlative host and provided all the comforts of home. The outdoor spaces were more than the pictures could relate. Can't wait to comeback later this year for the next opportunity to enjoy this lovely nest. No need to doubt just how perfect this hideaway is. Please do not miss out.

We loved staying at Nadine's place! Great location that is walkable to a lot of local things to do. The neighborhood itself is beautiful. The apartment was exactly as described and was quiet and peaceful. Loved having the snacks on hand. It was a great place to stay for a weekend. Nadine was super responsive, and even messaged me when she found my phone charger that I had left when we checked out! Highly recommend staying here - we'll be doing the same next time we're in town.

The apartment/condo is just as described. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of pots/pans and everything else I use in my kitchen. That was a treat. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The home was quiet and easy to come and go from. There is an electric fireplace in the master bedroom which made the room so warm and cozy. The parking was perfect, right outside the door and we never had a problem getting a spot. Chandra’s communication was punctual and very helpful. Our stay was over the Christmas holiday and it was so festive as she had a beautiful little Christmas tree with lights and ornaments and a wreath on the door; it made our Christmas feel more like home since we had to travel. The place was wonderful and highly recommend to other guests.

We love Church Hill, and Christine and Derk’s place was perfect for us for the weekend. They were very thoughtful, from having milk and creamer in the fridge, to leaving us a personalized welcome card that was incredibly sweet. Their home had everything we needed and then some. Beautiful space with lots of character, and in a beautiful location. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Johnny's place for a month while I was relocating to Richmond, and it was exactly what I needed. It was a great location, especially since the commute to downtown was so easy. As an extended stay, he provided all of the amenities I needed and was very responsive whenever I needed anything. I highly recommend this place!

This place was WONDERFUL!!!! Clean, quiet, organized and comfortable. We had everything we needed for my husband and I to enjoy staying there in order to visit my extended family in Richmond. I was born and raised there but my left at age 23 though the rest of my family stayed in Richmond. The location at the airbnb was within walking distance of EVERYTHING!!! I would love to stay here from now on any time I am visiting family there....or even just to visit the VMFA as well as other places!

I stayed in this basement apartment for a month and a half while working downtown. The host was extremely friendly, showed me the space, communicated with me about packages and mail, and kept me informed of things to know about the house. I felt very safe in the house and the area. The linens and towels felt very new and clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were also cleanly. The bed was stiffer than I am used to, but I got used to it. There is not much natural light in the apartment since it is a basement unit, but I appreciated all of the lamps and light dimmers so that I did not have to use the overhead lighting. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this apartment to anyone.
